  • Patent number: 11936703
Abstract: A system and method provide media content based on a household when out- of-home. A first request for media content is received that originates from a first IP address and includes a first data element identification that is associated with a first user. A determination is made that the first IP address is associated with a first internet connected household (ICH). The first data element identification is aliased with the first ICH. A second request (that includes the first data element identification) for media content is received that originates from a second IP address that corresponds to a non-household IP address. In response to the second request and the aliasing, media content is retrieved (based on the first ICH) and transmitted to the first user at the second IP address.

Abstract: A method includes enabling a messaging server and providing credentials for the messaging server. A computing system is enabled and a malware application is received by the computing system. The malware application is executed by the computing system. The credentials are rendered accessible to the malware application via the computing system, and the malware application is enabled to transmit the credentials via network transmission from the computing system to a computer. An actor is enabled to access the messaging server over a network in response to the actor applying the credentials, and a first electronic message transmitted by the actor is received by the messaging server, the first electronic message including first content.

Abstract: A user agent (UA).1 presents a selection screen for selecting function information for calling a function provided by a service in a network with use of the UA.1. Upon detecting that an import button is pressed on the selection screen, the UA.1 acquires a UA list with use of an Intent technique to display the UA list. Upon a selection of a UA.2 from this list, the UA.1 requests the function information to the UA.2, and presents the selection screen in such a manner that the function information acquired based on the request is further included in the selection screen.

Abstract: Sending streamed data packets from a producer to a consumer. A method includes, at a first entity, sending consumable data packets from the first entity to a second entity at a first consumable packet rate. The method further includes receiving a first phase delta from the second entity, wherein the first phase delta is computed from transmission jitter, computed from timing information in the consumable data packets. The method further includes sending from the first entity consumable data packets at a second consumable packet rate, the second consumable packet rate being dependent on the first phase delta.

Abstract: Managing privacy controls in an information handling system to allow Information Technology Decision Makers (ITDMs) to prevent unwanted disclosure of information while allowing users to work together. A first privacy policy is asserted to protect information. When a user device requests an override to access an I/O device, embodiments analyze device parameters and application parameters to determine whether to authorize the use of the I/O device. If the override request is authorized, the user is able to access the I/O device and a new privacy policy is asserted. If a device parameter changes, embodiments may assess whether the change could result in unwanted disclosure of information and dynamically change the privacy policy to prevent the disclosure.

  • Patent number: 11924391
Abstract: A system obtains a data set representing immersive video content for display at a display time, including first data representing the content according to a first level of detail, and second data representing the content according to a second higher level of detail. During one or more first times prior to the display time, the system causes at least a portion of the first data to be stored in a buffer. During one or more second times prior to the display time, the system generates a prediction of a viewport for displaying the content to a user at the display time, identifies a portion of the second data corresponding to the prediction of the viewport, and causes the identified portion of the second data to be stored in the video buffer. At the display time, the system causes the content to be displayed to the user using the video buffer.

  • Patent number: 11921603
Abstract: Techniques of automated interoperation tracking in computing systems are disclosed herein. One example technique includes tokenizing a first event log from a first software component and a second event log from the second software component by calculating frequencies of appearance corresponding to strings in the first and second event logs and selecting, as tokens, a first subset of the strings in the first event log and a second subset of the strings in the second event log individually having calculated frequencies of appearance above a preset frequency threshold. The example technique can also include generating an overall event log for a task executed by both the first and second software components by matching one of the strings in the first subset to another of the strings in the second subset.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed are directed to ensuring resource compliance within a cloud-based environment. The embodiments include steps for performing both pre-provisioning and post-provisioning checks of resources, such as network protocols, prior to and after their deployment within the cloud-based environment. These steps include using bitemporal analysis to determine the impact of deploying resources within the environment through the use of multiple execution timelines where the impact of deploying a resource may be evaluated on an alternative timeline that does not change the current resource scope of the cloud-based environment. The analysis may further include tracking the impact of the resource after it has been deployed to ensure resource compliance.

Abstract: Techniques are described providing improved ways to benchmark and validate virtual desktop deployments where targeted workloads are delivered to virtual desktops based on parameters such as the desktop type and origin, and where workload operations can be triggered from the client device. Client instructions for performing workload operations can be encoded into a digital image such as a Quick Response (QR) code on the virtual desktop and inserted into the virtual desktop graphical user interface (GUI). The client decodes the digital image in the received GUI to obtain the instructions and actuate the operations. Completion of operations can be tracked to benchmark desktop performance.
