Patent number: 7904655Abstract: A branching memory-bus module has one uplink port and two or more downlink ports. Frames sent downstream by a host processor are received on the uplink port and repeated to the multiple downlink ports to two or more branches of memory modules. Patent number: 7877563Abstract: A removable digital data storage device has a programmable memory controller, a data storage medium and a data destruction means. The memory controller is encoded with a firmware program to provide a computer device driver interface, wherein the firmware program further configures the memory controller to secure data on the medium by querying for a hardware code in response to a data operation request by a computer through the interface and either granting access in response to a hardware code input or, independent of an operational status of the requesting computer, directly instructing the data destruction means to render data residing on the data storage medium unreadable in response to a failure to receive the first hardware code input through the interface.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 2006Date of Patent: January 25, 2011Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Franklin C. Publication number: 20110016261Abstract: A parallel processing architecture of flash memory and method thereof are described. A processing unit classifies a plurality of commands to generate a first command group and a second command group respectively. The processing unit executes the first command group and the second command group. A first control unit performs the first command group to access the data stored in the first memory unit, and a second control unit simultaneously performs the second command group to access the data stored in the second memory unit for processing the data stored in the first and the second memory units in parallel.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 4, 2009Publication date: January 20, 2011Applicant: Genesys Logic, Inc.Inventors: Jin-min Lin, Wei-kan Hwang

Publication number: 20110016275Abstract: A mobile communication device (1) comprises a MIFARE memory (MM) being configured as a MIFARE Classic card or an emulated MIFARE Classic memory and a MIFARE application manager (MAM) being adapted to install MIFARE applications in the MIFARE memory (MM). When a MIFARE application (MA) is a multiple sector application being too large to be stored in one sector of the MIFARE memory (MM) the MIFARE application manager (MAM) splits said multiple sector MIFARE application (MA) in parts (TK81-1, TK8-2, TK8-3) each being small enough for being stored in one sector of the MIFARE memory (MM), installs the parts (TK81-1, TK8-2, TK8-3) of the multiple sector MIFARE application (MA) in free sectors of the MIFARE memory (MM) and stores in the MIFARE memory (MM) an indication in which sectors the parts (TK81-1, TK8-2, TK8-3) of the multiple sector MIFARE application (MA) are located.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 26, 2009Publication date: January 20, 2011Applicant: NXP B.V.Inventors: Vincent Lemonnier, Baptiste Affouard
