The instructions cause the cloud server(s) to send, to multiple second mobile devices corresponding to the multiple invitees, one or more respective invitations to the event. Abstract: A system and method are provided for synchronizing read-only folders from a cloud-based server. Users can set permissions when sharing folders with other users. The permissions are enforced by client devices of the users downloading content of the folders from the server. A folder at a user's client from the shared domain may include locally modified content and shared content. Based on first permission assigned to a user for the folder, when an indication of a change by a second user to the folder at the server is received, the user's client propagates the change to shared content below the folder in a folder hierarchy at the user's client. To prevent local changes made by the user from being overwritten, the user's client identifies the folder containing locally-modified content as a local content folder not to be synchronized between the plurality of clients.

Abstract: An agricultural modeling system may include a mobile LiDAR platform configured to generate 3D point cloud data of an agricultural geographic area, client devices, a geospatial database configured to store a data layer for the agricultural geographic area, and a server computing resource in communication with the mobile LiDAR platform, the client devices, and the geospatial database. The server computing resource may be configured to geographically reference the data layer fused with the 3D point cloud data of the agricultural geographic area, and generate a multi-layered data model for the geographically referenced data layer fused with the 3D point cloud data of the agricultural geographic area for providing interactive analysis and visualization of agricultural information alongside collaborators with LiDAR-based high resolution 3D plant model. A client device may be configured to selectively render the multi-layered data model.

Abstract: The described implementations facilitate the discovery and presentation of video advertisements in a non-intrusive manner by users of client devices. In one implementation, an informed opt-in preview representative of a video advertisement is generated. The informed opt-in preview is a short video presentation that is formed from frames extracted from the video advertisement that can be presented on a client device to provide a user with an overview of the video advertisement corresponding to that informed opt-in preview. For example, the video advertisement may be a two-minute video advertisement. In comparison, the informed opt-in preview may be as little as three—five seconds in length and simply provide an overview of the video advertisement.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for compact storage of non-sparse high-dimensionality data are disclosed. A data store comprises a plurality of records, and the plurality of records represent a space having n dimensions of ordered input values. The space is partitioned into a plurality of non-overlapping segments having the n dimensions. Individual ones of the records correspond to individual ones of the segments. A query is received that comprises one or more input values for at least some of the n dimensions of the space. At least one record is retrieved from the data store based at least in part on the query. The record corresponds to one of the segments in the space, and the record comprises content responsive to the query.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide systems and methods for providing suggested locations for pick up and destination locations. Pick up locations may include locations where an autonomous vehicle can pick up a passenger, while destination locations may include locations where the vehicle can wait for an additional passenger, stop and wait for a passenger to perform some task and return to the vehicle, or for the vehicle to drop off a passenger. As such, a request for a vehicle may be received from a client computing device. The request may identify a first location. A set of one or more suggested locations may be selected by comparing the predetermined locations to the first location. The set may be provided to the client computing device.

Abstract: Systems and methods of assisting users in collision avoidance in a virtual reality environment include tracking a location of first and second users in a physical environment; based on the tracked location of each of the users, calculating a collision probability between the first user and the second user in the physical environment; comparing a threshold collision probability to the calculated collision probability; and when the calculated collision probability exceeds the threshold collision probability and the first user avatar visible to the second user and the second user avatar visible to the first user do not visually suggest to each of the first user and the second user a representation of the probability of collision in the physical environment, a collision alert is triggered.

The content may be a portion of a photograph, a portion of an image, a portion of text from a document, and/or a portion of a screen. The portion may be automatically identified following the user pointing and marking up the content. The first user may mark up the content before transmitting it to the second user.

An access element is included in the page to provide access to the content of the determined document in response to determining that the determined document is public. Access to a public description of the document not including all the content of the document is included in the page in response to determining that the determined document is private and that the requesting participant is not a member of the group of participants allowed to access the document.

Abstract: A collaborative content item includes an ordered set of comment threads that each correspond to a portion of the collaborative content item. When a user requests that a first new comment be displayed, a first comment thread including the first new comment is displayed within a comment interface. When the user interacts with a new comment interface element, a second comment thread including a second new comment is displayed within the comment interface and a count of remaining new comments displayed within the new comment interface element is decremented. Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for joining semi-structured data from the web with relational data in a spreadsheet table using input-output examples. A first sub-task performed by the system learns a string transformation program to transform input rows of a table to URL strings that correspond to the webpages where the relevant data is present. A second sub-task learns a program in a rich web data extraction language to extract desired data from the webpage given the example extractions. Hierarchical search and input-driven ranking are used to efficiently learn the programs using few input-output examples. The learnt programs are then run on the remaining spreadsheet entries to join desired data from the corresponding web pages.

A collector, who generates the collection folder, can invite one or more submitters to submit one or more files to the collection folder. The one or more submitters have limited rights to the collection folder. The limited rights can include uploading rights and prohibiting a submitter from viewing files that other submitters associated with the collection folder submitted. Thus, the collection folder is able to store files from the one or more submitters, but prevent them from viewing other's submissions.

Abstract: The invention comprises a system and method using a software application (“app”) running on portable computing devices to download presentations from a central server as thumbnails and manipulate the presentations in thumbnail format. The thumbnails can provide a storybook-type presentation that takes much less memory on a portable device than full native presentation format files. With the thumbnail file, the portable device user can move from slide to slide, reorder slides, delete slides, add slides from other thumbnail files, and add notes/text. After a new presentation is created using one or more thumbnail files, it may be uploaded to a central server where a server-side application recompiles the new presentation into a native format presentation from the thumbnail format. In this manner, presentations can be sourced from virtually anywhere and using nearly any computing device from which one can view thumbnail presentations. Other variations and enhancements are disclosed.
