Abstract: The invention concerns a multistage press, at which within the machine-mounted clamping plate (1), an insert (3) is arranged which can alternatingly be moved in the direction towards the press plunger (2) and away from it. The insert (3) is moved up and down by a cam drive actuated by the press main drive with lifting and lowering cams (5), whose cam tracks (8a, 8b) are traced by lifting rollers (6) and lowering rollers (7) under compressive prestress. Such a multistage press can be operated with a high number of strokes per minute and has, at the same time, an excellent precision of the stroke movement.

Abstract: A crimping tool is provided including a rotary drive unit and removable extension arm with pivotal jaw arms. The removable extension arm is rotatable about its axis. A locking device is included in the jaw arm assembly such that the jaw arms may be securely positioned in a number of locations to accommodate various working angles. A logic circuit limits the movement of the jaw arms to one complete cycle for each trigger event.
Abstract: The invention relates to a machine for stamping, bending and/or mounting of sheet metal parts with at least one upper housing part 14 and at least one lower housing part 16. Preferably, several are arranged in a row. On each housing part 14, 16 the carriage apparatus 20 is engaged by a motor. In order to increase the productivity of the machine, the carriage is driven by a program-controlled synchronous motor. In one embodiment a gear is positioned between motor and carriage which is formed preferably as an eccentric disc, connecting rod or elbow lever. The program-controlled synchronous motor is embodied as a torque motor and coupled by the gear member with the carriage.
Abstract: The invention relates to a bend-straightening machine for long workpieces (21), said machine having workpiece holding fixtures (19) arranged on a machine base (2) to grip the ends of the workpiece (21) in a rotatable manner. The machine has at least two straightening bases (22) arranged a distance apart on the machine base (2) for support of the workpiece in its vertical direction. At least one straightening punch (17) is provided between the straightening bases (22) to act upon the workpiece. The straightening punch (17) is mounted to an actuating mechanism which can be moved towards the workpiece and away from it by means of a driving mechanism to be embodied as a ram (5) which holds the straightening punch in the vertical alignment of the workpiece and which can be moved in a vertical plane by means of the drive mechanism. This design assures precise, directionally accurate straightening of the workpiece with a simple method of construction.
Abstract: A press-forming die set including a first die and a second die which are linearly movable in a press-forming direction for mutual engagement to form a negative-angle portion on a workpiece placed on the second die, the press-forming die further including a rotary cam having a first negative-angle forming portion, and a forming cam having a second negative-angle forming portion. The first negative-angle forming portion is disposed such that the rotary cam is rotatable about an axis of rotation inclined with respect to a bottom surface of the workpiece. The rotary cam is engageable with the second die and is rotated about the axis of rotation in one of opposite directions when the first and second dies are moved toward each other, and is rotated in the other direction when the first and second dies are moved away from each other.
