In response to the determination, the client attempts to collect media program recommendations to be presented to the user. Media program recommendations may be derived locally by the client, by the client and a multimedia device locally connected with the client, by the client and one or more additional devices, etc. In some embodiments, in response to receiving a query from the client, one or more recipient devices or servers identify media program recommendations in a plurality of trending categories. The media program recommendations may be selected based at least in part on EPG data and audience research and measurement data. The media program recommendations collected by the client are presented to the user for further exploration. The client may be one of mobile phones, tablet computers, etc.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for generating a playlist for a simultaneous presentation of a plurality of media assets. The system retrieves a user preference associated with a user profile and receives a selection of a first media asset and a second media asset from the plurality of media assets for presentation on a user device. The system parses the respective audio streams of the first media asset and the second media asset to identify one or more preferred audio segments based on the user preference and generates the playlist of the identified one or more preferred audio segments. Based on a generated audio playlist, the system generates, for presentation on the user device, the video stream for each of the first media asset and the second media asset and the playlist of the identified one or more preferred audio segments.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for an automatically managed common asset validation framework for platform-based microservices. A service provider, such as an electronic transaction processor for digital transactions, may utilize different decision services that implement rules and/or artificial intelligence models for decision-making from input data including data in a production computing environment. A decision service may normally be used for data processing and decision-making through an execution flow configuration and/or graph identifying a flow of task executions and other computing operations. In this regard, the decision services may share common data assets, such as data tables, shared code for execution of operations and the like. The service provider may utilize an intelligent service to automatically manage and validate these assets between services so that execution errors do not occur when there are changes to these common assets.

Systems and methods are disclosed that dynamically throttle video processing and/or streaming based on a workload. Live video is captured from one or more sources (e.g., cameras) and stored. The video is then provided to a video processing engine and a video streaming engine. The video processing engine may perform one or more operations such as object detection, object tracking, and object classification to produce characterization data (e.g., bounding boxes, object trajectories, alerts, object labels, object counts, boundary crossings, intersection highlighting, etc.). System resource usage and performance of the video processing and streaming are monitored to produce workload data (e.g., metrics). Based on the policies and the workload data, the video streaming and/or processing is dynamically reconfigured by adjusting parameters provided to the video streaming and processing engines.

When the system detects that a previously untagged data resource of the plurality of data resources becomes tagged by the user as data is streaming to and from the client device, the system changes a set of UI elements included within the user-customized UI to add an additional UI element for the newly tagged data resource. Images from the video assets are displayed in a uniform manner, along with information about the video assets. The information includes data in a metadata category. The view can select one of the video assets for viewing, but also can navigate using metadata categories such as genre, actors, director etc. Moreover, the system and method includes an on-screen remote control that can be utilized in conjunction with a physical input device for navigation and viewing one or more video assets. This allows a much easier and natural navigating and selection process for viewers.

The simulated robots are controlled by clients remote from the cloud server, enabling human operators or autonomous robot control programs running on the clients to control the movement and behavior of the simulated robots within the virtual environment. Data describing interactions between robots, the virtual environment, and objects can be recorded for use in future robot design. The virtualization system can include robot templates, enabling users to quickly select and customize a robot to be simulated, and further enabling users to update and re-customize the robot in real-time during the simulation. The virtualization system can re-simulate a portion of the robot simulation when an intervention by a human operator is detected, positioning robots, people, and objects within the virtual environment based on the detected intervention.
