  • Patent number: 9217585
Abstract: A movement mechanism for moving an interception element of a solar plant. The mechanism is mounted on a support frame and is constrained to the interception element to allow the movement thereof with respect to the support frame. The mechanism comprises a drive member which generates a motion, and a transmission kinematism which transmits the motion to a rotation shaft constrained to the interception element. The transmission kinematism comprises a first mechanical member with gears mounted rotatable on a first support and mechanically connected to the drive member, and a second mechanical member with gears engaged on the first mechanical member, mounted on a second support, and keyed to the rotation shaft. The first and the second support are pivoted to each other with respect to a determinate pivoting axis, in order to rotate around the pivoting axis, so as to bring together/distance the first and the second mechanical member.

  • Patent number: 8733192
Abstract: A high-load linear actuator includes a driving mechanism, a worm shaft, a worm wheel assembly, a lead screw, a telescopic pipe and an outer pipe. The driving mechanism includes a base and a motor. The base has a supporting portion and an accommodating portion. The motor is fixed to the supporting portion. The worm shaft extends from the motor into the supporting portion. The worm wheel assembly includes a worm wheel and two bearings for supporting the worm wheel in the accommodating portion. The worm wheel is drivingly engaged with the worm shaft. The lead screw is disposed through the worm wheel and driven by the motor for rotation. The telescopic pipe slips on the lead screw to be threadedly connected therewith. The outer pipe slips on the telescopic pipe. The rotation of the lead screw drives the telescopic pipe to linearly extend or retract relative to the outer pipe.

Abstract: In a speed reducing electric motor, a speed reducing gear unit has a sensor magnet device, which is fixed to a worm wheel and includes an inner ring magnet, an outer ring magnet and connecting portions. The inner ring magnet is placed along a predetermined first imaginary circle. The outer ring magnet is placed along a predetermined second imaginary circle, which is coaxial with the first imaginary circle and has a diameter that is smaller or larger than that of the first imaginary circle. The connecting portions connect between the inner ring magnet and the outer ring magnet. The sensor magnet device is fixed to the worm wheel by a magnet fixing structure.

  • Patent number: 6971277
Abstract: A gear drive casing apparatus is disclosed for enclosing a gear drive used in a hygienic and sanitary environment. The gear drive casing apparatus includes a member having an external contoured surface, the member enclosing the gear drive. A further member has a further external contoured surface, the surface and the further surface cooperating with each other to define therebetween a smooth uninterrupted intersection such that the contoured surfaces and the intersection therebetween are easily cleaned. The surfaces and intersection present a self-draining configuration which inhibits the entrapment therein of any deleterious materials that would support the growth of bacteria, fungi, mold and other microorganisms.

  • Patent number: 6645112
Abstract: A torque transfer system is disclosed which is particularly well-suited for use in four-wheel drive transfer cases to establish distinct two-wheel and four-wheel drive modes as well as providing an automatic (“on-demand”) four-wheel drive mode. The torque through system includes a planetary gearset having a first component driven by an input member, a second component driving an output member, and a third component driven by a worm gearset. The worm gearset includes a worm gear fixed for rotation with the third component and a worm meshed with the worm gear. A variable speed motor drives the worm for varying the speed ratio between the first and third components of the planetary gearset, thereby causing a corresponding variation in the drive torque transferred from the input member to the output member.

  • Patent number: 6609440
Abstract: A structure of a variable transmission device includes an input shaft driven by a motor to perform alternate rotation having a gear on a middle portion, an output shaft having a pair of gears secured to the upper and lower ends respectively and a speed changing shaft positioned between the input and output shaft having a pair of gears rotatably secured to two ends respectively meshed with the gears of the output shaft and a spiral outer periphery on a middle portion rotatably and slidably engaged with an inner threaded gear which meshes with the teeth of the gear of the input shaft. Thereby, the rotation of the input shaft drives the inner threaded gear to rotatably slide about the spiral outer periphery to force the gears of the speed changing shaft to rotate and in turn to drive the gears of the output shaft to rotate in concert with the input shaft.

  • Publication number: 20030000325
Abstract: A gearbox assembly including a housing supporting an input shaft to drive a first shaft that includes drive gears that correspond to driven gears on a second shaft. The driven gears are movable axially along the second shaft by shift levers such that a desired gear ratio can be selected. The second shaft also includes a worm shaft portion that drives a corresponding worm gear disposed on an output shaft. Another embodiment includes an input shaft driving gears that engage drive gears of the first or second shafts. A gear on the third shaft drives a gear of an output shaft. The clutch assemblies move one the driven gears into engagement with one of the first and second drive gears to selectively vary the speed of the output shaft.
