  • Patent number: 11441668
Abstract: Provided are a motor device and a method for manufacturing the same that can accurately and consistently provide a support shaft to a case and enhance the strength for fixing the support shaft to the case. A small-diameter part having a smaller diameter than a large-diameter part is formed through drawing. The large-diameter part and a step part are embedded in a gear case. The small-diameter part is exposed outside the gear case. The dimensional accuracy (dimensional tolerance ±?) of the external diameter of the small-diameter part is enhanced. The small-diameter part can be set, without rattling, in a lower mold for molding the gear case. Consequently, the support shaft can be accurately and consistently provided to the gear case. Because the large-diameter part and the step part are embedded in the gear case, the resistance of the support shaft against pulling from the gear case can be enhanced.

  • Patent number: 9927012
Abstract: An improvement of a worm gear speed reducer is provided where the output gear is substituted by a threaded chain comprised of nut-like threaded bodies mounted on the extended rods of two parallel endless chains, thus the contact surfaces of the drive screw and the threaded chain are much greater than the contact surfaces of the worm gear reducer, and thus the load capacity and wear resistance are much higher. The screw applies the driving force at the centroid of the contact surface of the threaded chain. There are three embodiments which may be a roller screw, a ball screw or a plain translation screw. With the roller screw or the ball screw there is rolling contact and thus the efficiency of the present invention is higher than that of the worm gear reducer which permits it to be used as an amplifier.

Abstract: An electric brake booster includes an electric motor activating a booster piston acting on the master-cylinder during brake pedal activation. The booster piston is driven in the direction of the action of same on the master-cylinder by an electric motor linked to a mechanical transmission that includes a screw held by the motor shaft. The screw meshes with two symmetrical worm gears that are integral with respective transmission shafts housed in a bearing of the body of the brake booster. The two shafts each carry a spur gear that meshes with a rack of the booster piston. The shafts are free in translation relative to the screw and to the body of the electric brake booster but are integral with each other in the translational movement of same. The shafts are integrally connected in translation by a coupling member formed by a crosspiece carrying two rotation bearings.

  • Patent number: 9234570
Abstract: This invention refers to a speed reducer made up of a chain carrying nuts and of a screw, i.e., a ball screw in the first embodiment, a roller screw in the second embodiment. The ball screw or the roller screw drives the nuts on one of the straight stretches of the chain. The ball screw, or the roller screw, can be almost as long as the distance between the centers of the output sprockets on which the chain is mounted. Given these features and because the nuts wrap the ball screw, or the roller screw in a great surface, the load capacity is high. Given that in both embodiments there is rolling contact, friction is low and, as a consequence, efficiency is high, and this allows the present invention to serve also as an amplifier.
