The reverse crankshaft motor provides periodic reciprocating motion based on periodic rotational motion from a rotational motor. An amplituder is affixed to the third axle and may communicate with an external device. The position of the third axle determines the amplitude of the periodic reciprocating motion of the amplituder. By adjusting the position of the first and second frames, the operator may adjust the amplitude independently from the frequency of the periodic rotational motion supplied by the rotational motor.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a pivot apparatus having a pivot member adapted so that, when pivoted to the service angle, it slides to the service position while interlocking with the pivot movement and is set in the service condition. Particularly, the sliding structure is applied to the coupling between the support and sliding members, and the pivot structure is applied to the sliding and pivot members to pivotably couple them to each other. The link connects the support and sliding members so that, as the pivot member pivots relative to the sliding member by means of the user's pivot force, the sliding member slides to the desired direction and distance from the support member while interlocking with the pivot movement.     Abstract: A reciprocating drive assembly is disclosed for use in a fluid mixer to impart reciprocating movement along a longitudinal axis to a shaft carrying a mixing head. The yoke is releasably connected to the shaft and has a linear race formed therein for receiving the crank member. Guide assemblies are connected to the housing and to the yoke for sliding engagement therewith along guide axes parallel to the yoke axis. The yoke is between the guide assemblies. The crank member is caused to translate linearly within the race, thereby urging the yoke to move along the yoke axis to effect longitudinal reciprocating movement of the mixing head.

    Abstract: A vibration damping device is described that dampens vibration produced during the conversion of rotational motion into reciprocal motion. The damping is performed using a simple structure wherein first and second conversion mechanisms are symmetrically arranged with respect to a plane of symmetry, first and second rotating shafts rotate opposite to each other at a constant speed, and the rotational motion is converted into reciprocal motion. The total of mass acting on gravity centers of a first balancer and a second balancer is approximately equal to the total of mass reciprocally driven by a first driving shaft and a second driving shaft. Both gravity centers are positioned 180 degrees to the first driving shaft and second driving shaft across the axes of the first rotating shaft and second rotating shaft. As a consequence, the forces in the direction of an axis can be balanced suppressing vibration.

The torque tube is fixedly coupled to the structure which needs to be bent, twisted or flexed. The energy stored in the biasing member provides the great majority of mechanical force required to rotate the torque tube and bend, twist or deform the structure when the structure is urged back into an unflexed or un-deformed state, the energy stored in the structure is transferred back to the apparatus.
