Rotary To Or From Reciprocating Or Oscillating Patents (Class 74/25)
  • Patent number: 9427065
Abstract: A device for the purpose of applying cosmetic product which can be made to shear cosmetic product held within its chamber prior to loading a portion of cosmetic product evenly onto the applicator head by way of separating the detachable container from the handle. After separation, the direction of the rotation motion is chosen and the device is activated. Once activated, the drive mechanism converts rotation motion into a reciprocating rotation motion thereby enabling the applicator head to simultaneously travel back and forth and rotate for purposes of applying cosmetic product. The applicator head via transfer vibration can be vibrated along or in conjunction with the reciprocation rotating motion for purposes of apply cosmetic product.

Abstract: A controllable hydraulic oscillating slide machine includes an inner rotor arranged in a housing and having cylindrical recesses. A bearing is formed in the housing, in which a co-rotating outer rotor is mounted eccentrically to the inner rotor, the outer rotor having several pivotably suspended slide drivers that engage into the recesses of the inner rotor for rotationally driving the outer rotor by way of the inner rotor and form modifiable chambers. The slide drivers may each be coupled to a piston that is guided in a respective associated recess. A pressure level different from that in the chambers between the inner and the outer rotor may be set in the chambers delimited by the recesses and the associated pistons so that two different pressure levels may be generated and two different consumers can be supplied using the oscillating slide machine.

Abstract: A power tool having a gear speed reducing mechanism which is free of backlash and a planetary gear speed reducing mechanism. The planetary gear speed reducing mechanism has a driving-side member that is rotationally driven by a prime mover, a driven-side member which is rotatably and coaxially disposed with the driving-side member and to which a tool bit is coupled, and an intervening member which is disposed between the driving-side member and the driven-side member. The intervening member is configured as a planetary member and at least caused to rotate by frictional force acting on its contact surface in contact with the driving-side member when the driving-side member is rotationally driven, so that torque of the driving-side member is transmitted to the driven-side member at reduced speed.

Abstract: The linear-to-rotary actuator includes an elongated drive member constrained to linear movement, and a rotary member constrained to rotary movement. The elongated drive member has a coupling end and an engaging member that projects from the coupling end. The rotary member has a track defining an Archimedean spiral. The track is adapted to receive the engaging member. The engaging member is constrained to slide in the track such that linear movement of the elongated member effects rotation of the rotary member. The track may be a slot, a groove, or other guide. Alternatively, instead of a track defined directly in the rotary member, the actuator may include a linking member (such as a disk or rectangular bracket) attached to the rotary member, the linking member having a track defining an Archimedean spiral defined therein, the engaging member being slidable in the track to convert linear motion into rotary motion.

Abstract: A casing running tool is connected to a top drive with a clutch that operates with set down weight against a spring resistive force. Setting down weight with rotation in a first direction raises an actuation member that pushes the slips out radially. The weight of the string then keeps the slips in position so that the string can be picked up and the rig floor slips removed followed by lowering the string while circulating and rotating. With slips set inside the joint and the string hanging free, rotating the top drive rotates the string as the string is lowered. With slips again supporting the string on the rig floor the top drive can be rotated in an opposed direction with weight set down to back off the slips and to remove it from the top joint.

Abstract: Apparatus for converting between rotary motion and linear motion includes a rotatable piece being rotatable about an axis; at least one member having a linking surface facing the rotatable piece and arranged for movement relative to the axis of the piece; and a means for linking the linking surface of the respective member and the surface of the rotatable piece, so that rotational motion of the rotatable piece causes linear movement of the at least one member, and/or linear movement of the at least one member causes rotational motion of the rotatable piece. A sawing device may include said apparatus for cutting by repetitive reciprocating cutting action. A saw blade may be configured for such a sawing device.

  • Patent number: 8771308
Abstract: The present invention refers to a transmission mechanism of an eyebrow tattoo machine, which includes an eccentric rotation shaft connected to a driving axle of a motor and having a bottom end configured to rotate eccentrically with respect to the driving axle, an upper bearing coupled with the bottom end of the eccentric rotation shaft, a position-limiting cover longitudinally provided with a position-limiting groove, and a swinging rod element mounted to the upper bearing and provided with a swinging rod and a position-limiting rod on two sides respectively. Since the position-limiting rod is only allowed to swing up and down in the position-limiting groove when the eccentric rotation shaft drives the upper bearing and the swinging rod element, the end of the swinging rod away from the upper bearing can swing up and down and then drive a tattoo needle to move vertically up and down through a lateral bearing.

Abstract: A preload applying mechanism includes a preload adjusting plug that is screwed to an inner peripheral surface of a housing body, and is rotationally moved; and a needle bearing and a plate that are arranged between an output shaft and a Z1 gear. In a shoulder of the output shaft, the Z1 gear is supported by the needle bearing and the annular plate for a rolling surface of the needle bearing so that the Z1 gear is rotatable. As the preload adjusting plug presses the output shaft, the shoulder of the output shaft presses the plate, the needle bearing, and the Z1 gear toward the center bearing in the axial direction. Thus, a preload is applied to the bearing gear.
