  • Patent number: 10086454
Abstract: A device for setting saw blades has a housing, a setting device connected to the housing for setting a saw blade, a clamping device connected to the housing for clamping the saw blade, and a drive unit connected to the housing for driving the setting device and the clamping device. The setting device has saw set holders which are arranged on either side of the saw blade, are pivotable relative to one another and can be fitted with saw sets. The clamping device has clamping jaw holders which are arranged on either side of the saw blade, can be adjusted relative to one another and can be fitted with clamping jaws. In order to provide a device of the kind described above, which securely clamps the saw blade, the clamping jaw holders are designed so as to be pivotable relative to one another.
