Abstract: Provided is a pneumatic tire. Center blocks in a center region of a tread section are arrayed to form a pair between which are interposed inclined grooves inclined with respect to a circumferential direction. The center blocks straddle an equator from one side to the other. Notches composed of a first and second walls connected in a V shape are in treads in each center block. The first walls extend at an angle within ±20° with respect to the circumferential direction. The second walls extend at an angle of ±10° with respect to a width direction. Inclined grooves are each constituted by a see-through portion and an expanded portion having a larger groove width than the see-through portion. A width of a see-through region that can extend without intersecting an extension line of the see-through portion is made to be equal to or greater than 30% of a tread width.

Abstract: The tire has a tread portion 2 comprising a plurality of main grooves and a first land portion 11 divided by the main grooves. The first land portion 11 comprises a plurality of first blocks 15 divided by first lateral grooves 14. The first lateral groove 14 is provided with a first tie bar 19 raising from a part of the groove bottom excluding its end portions in the tire axial direction. The first block 15 is provided with a first sipe 20 inclined with respect to the tire axial direction to the same orientation over its entire length from a first longitudinal edge 26 to a second longitudinal edges 27 of the block. The first sipe 20 is composed of a first portion 21 extending from the first longitudinal edge 26, a second portion 22 extending from the second longitudinal edge 27, and a third portion 23 between the first portion 21 and the second portion 22.

Abstract: The tread comprises circumferential grooves which delimit an intermediate row (I) and edge rows (B). The tread also has a plurality of V-shaped oblique grooves with branches that make an angle of 30° to 60° with the axial direction. The circumferential and oblique grooves delimit a plurality of V-shaped blocks in each intermediate row. In each V-shaped block, there is a canal below the tread surface, and this canal has a width of 2 to 6 mm and is intended to generate a new groove after a predetermined amount of wear. When new, each canal has openings that open into the oblique grooves. A bridge of material is formed between the V-shaped blocks and occupies heightwise at least 40% of the depth of the oblique grooves and doing so over a width at least 10 mm. The bridge of material is suitable for not closing the openings of the canals.
