Abstract: A mount for use on a recreational fishing boat is capable of holding multiple fishing rod holders and associated fishing rods. The mount comprises a sleeve member for slipping onto a seat post of a boat chair and two horizontally extending detachable rods. The sleeve member has a fastener to prevent substantial vertical and rotational movement relative to the seat post. The mount is readily removed and disassembled for compact storage.
Abstract: A universally applicable fishing rod support capable of being utilized on any type of terrain and/or surface for the effective support and proper angling position of any type and size fishing rod placed thereon, wherein an angler is able to move from passive to active engagement upon the quick and unhindered removal of the fishing rod from the fishing rod support.
Abstract: A fishing rod holder apparatus includes a first support unit which includes a V-shaped rod reception portion and a pair of first risers connected to opposite ends of the V-shaped rod reception portion. A second support unit includes a pair of railing rest members connected to the pair of first risers for resting on top of a railing and also includes a downwardly extending U-shaped member which serves to laterally confine the railing rest. A third support unit is connected to the second support unit, and the third support unit includes a front extension portion connected to the second support unit. A first handle rest portion is connected to the front extension portion. A rear extension portion is connected to the first handle rest portion, and a second handle rest portion is connected to the rear extension portion.
Abstract: A fishing cart for carrying a plurality of fishing rods, and tackle gear from a first site to a fishing site, said fishing cart includes a tubular frame for carrying gear and supplies and tubular sleeves on the outside of the frame for carrying fishing rods. The frame is provided with removable wheels and a releasable towing handle for moving the cart between locations. An auxiliary work table may be supported on the sleeves. The cart may be disassembled for compact storage and vehicle transportation and readily assemble at the fishing site.
