Abstract: A deep truncated cylindrical electrical box with angled molded-in internal mounting brackets on the flat side surface is mounted to the side of a wooden or metal beam. This internal mounting feature is especially of interest in old work to minimize the size of drywall cutout by limiting it to the outer contour of the electrical box. Any device, such as a paddle fan, will be directly supported by an exterior supportive L-bracket, not by the molded box itself. Replacing the L-bracket with a heavy-duty cold rolled steel bar bracket permits fastening between two beams. An alternate embodiment for the electrical box itself supports lighter loads by the electrical box itself.
Abstract: A right handed or left handed sanding block can be provided individually or as a mirror image pair. Each block includes a grasp handle and a fastening surface engaging a replaceable sanding pad. Each handle includes a pair of cove box channels to fit the fingers of the user. These channels have forward and rear finger stops located at opposite sides. The channel positions are mirror image reversed for the right hand and left hand blocks. The forward stop provides a rest for the thumb and the front vertical surface provides a rest for the index finger. A rear finger stop provides a rest for a tip of another finger. The block is a truncated rectangle with an offset edge. The short side of the block provides a safety harbor clearance when the other hand of the user grasps the work piece.
Abstract: A fluorescent light fixture is suspended by a longitudinally extending trapezoidal pendant bracket/stabilizer. The trapezoidal pendant bracket/stabilizer includes a horizontally extending top brace and a pair of obliquely extending arms extending downward in opposite directions from the top brace in a trapezoidal crossection. Each obliquely extending arm has a flat, horizontally and outwardly extending attachment foot extending longitudinally along a flat top surface of the fluorescent lamp fixture, wherein each attachment foot is attached to the flat top surface of the fluorescent lamp fixture. The horizontally extending top brace is attachable to a ceiling mounted fastener, such as a toggle hanger or other downwardly extending fastener.

Abstract: A notebook/laptop computer or other personal electronic device locking assembly includes a locking base frame. The locking base frame locks the notebook computer or other personal electronic device securely in place to a work surface such as a desk top or table top. The lock is adapted to engage the notebook computer or other personal electronic device screen in the open position, leaving a front surface of the screen viewable. The lock prevents removal of the notebook computer or other personal electronic device from the work surface. A security table top/work surface clamp includes a cable clamp having a fixed or adjustably sized generally C-shaped clamp body insertable over a table top or other flat work surface. The lower operating knob has a transverse hole or slot preventing loosening of the threaded bolt once the flexible cable is installed through the transverse hole or slot.
Abstract: A portable music player or other personal electronic device locking assembly includes a locking base frame. The locking base frame locks the portable music player or other personal electronic device securely in place to a work surface such as a desk top or table top. The lock is adapted to engage the portable music player or other personal electronic device screen in the open position, leaving a front surface of the screen viewable. The lock prevents removal of the portable music player or other personal electronic device from the work surface.
Abstract: A battery charging system uses power line carrier communications, for communicating battery state information associated with charging batteries, between a battery charger and a battery management system (BMS) located on the battery or battery pack. The power line carrier includes transmitters and receivers transmitting and receiving battery state information, such as current, voltage and temperature, as digital signals on existing cable conductors located between the battery/battery pack and the battery charger. The battery management system (BMS), which is physically located on the battery pack, receives the information from the power line carrier, in order to measure a variety of parameters relating to charging the battery, which may be a motor vehicle battery or a battery for operating machinery, such as fork lifts, bulldozers and other earth moving and product transportation vehicles.

Abstract: A traffic light safety zone is a painted marked area, of parallel lines, approaching a traffic intersection to warn motorists whether they can safety proceed through the road intersection before a traffic sign light turns red, the zones are configured to indicate whether a motorist in the zone has clearance at a designated speed to proceed and cross with safety, the zone parallel colored thermal plastic painted lines form a visual indicator, and give an audio output due to the thickness of the thermal painted plastic; a distinctive traffic sign indicates to motorists of an approaching traffic light safety zone.
Abstract: A combination book binding machine with a plastic coil forming machine, whereby a plastic spiral coil is formed at a first raised temperature, then cut to a length sufficient for the plastic spiral coil to bind a book, cooled and then advanced toward a receiving coil conveyor of a coil binding machine, for binding the book with a plastic coil at the lowered cooled temperature. The binding machine and method for spirally binding a sheaf of papers into a book uses an adjustable speed drive to rotate the cooled flexible plastic spiral coil into respective holes in the book. The book has a plurality of holes in a row adjacent one edge of the book to receive the leading edge of the plastic spiral binding coils. A cylindrically shaped mandrel is spaced apart from a glidable block. The plastic pre-formed spiral binding coil is fed onto the mandrel from the distal end thereof, with the leading edge of the binding element facing and spaced apart from the book.
Abstract: A mission adaptable multi-purpose, collapsible portable cart/utility table, for use in emergency response and disaster situations, camping, hunting and other outdoors activities, which carries medical rescue carts, canoes, small boats, game, or hauled cargo by hand. The portable cart/utility table can be converted to a various uses and the portable cart/utility table can be folded down and transported within a wheeled bin, backpack, hand carried bag, canoe or boat. It transports injured persons or cargo over long, rough terrain and it can broken down into a carrying position, by hand or by back. The objects being carried can be held by clamps, by fasteners, or through the use of insertions with longitudinally extending channels. The portable cart/utility table can also be the basis of a transportable mobile field hospital deployable by land, sea, and air to reach very remote and rugged regions.
Abstract: A bagel scoop removes excess dough from a piece of baked goods, such as a bagel. The bagel scoop includes a handle, and a concave, preferably shallow elliptical spoon-shaped closed combined blade and scoop structure, having a downward curvature, to enable scooping and removal of dough. The outer distal end of the combined blade and scoop structure is preferably serrated, to allow for scraping and scooping of the bagel core dough at a leading edge of the blade. The combined blade and scoop structure is attached to a stem, which, in turn, is attached to the handle. A small auxiliary scraper is provided at an opposite end, for fine scraping and removing of excess dough residue not taken by the shallow elliptical spoon-shaped closed combined blade and scoop structure.

Abstract: A clothing adherable knee pad includes a bendable flexible arcuate pad which bends over the knee of a kneeling person. At least two linearly extending elastic, stretchable straps are connected at distal ends thereof each to a respective clothing engageable clip, which is attachable to a trousers leg of a pair of pants. The two or more linearly extending elastic, stretchable straps engage the knee pad by being attached thereto or by being woven through respective pairs of slits extending through the knee pad. The straps are of sufficient length so that when attached to clothing, such as pants, respective locations of the clips upon pants legs avoids uncomfortable encroachments to respective lateral and rear areas of the knee of the user.
