    Abstract: Telephone set providing for telephone communications, and also for the cleaning and disinfecting of the speaking and hearing portions of the telephone receiver to improve the quality of life by preventing contamination by diseases, being made of plastic, and including the components of a mechanical system inside the telephone case providing for the cleaning, which includes a cassette or cartridge having two reels; a supply reel on which is wound a cleaning cloth impregnated with disinfectant liquid, and a receiving reel on which the cleaning cloth is would after it has passed across a cleaning window provided at the location of the speaking and hearing portions of the telephone receiver, which portions are cleaned by frictional contact with the cleaning cloth which is displaced manually or electrically from the one supply reel to the other receiving reel. The cassette or cartridge is either of the disposable type or of the continuous use type.

    Abstract: A soap dispenser for feeding, cutting and dispensing a piece of dry ribbon soap from a supply spool, the soap dispenser including a base portion provided with a holding member for holding the supply spool with the ribbon soap rolled up thereon, and a cutting member coacting with a spring for cutting the ribbon soap. A cover portion is removably mounted on the base portion to enclose the supply spool therein, the cover portion being provided with a feeding member for feeding a length of the ribbon soap past the cutting member prior to cutting the ribbon soap. The feeding member includes a movable part provided with a cam for retracting the cutting member against the spring to tension the spring, the cam also releasing the cutting member when the spring is under tension so that the spring forces the cutting member into engagement with the ribbon soap for cutting off the length of ribbon soap.

    Abstract: A shelf assembly for refrigerators, freezers and the like including a glass shelf, an extruded edge trim wrapped around and enclosing the peripheral edges of the shelf, and a shelf supporting unit including a pair of side brackets connected together by spaced apart front and rear bars, the edge trim having a U-shaped construction for receiving the peripheral edges of the shelf therein, so that the edge trim provides a rectangular frame arrangement around the shelf to form a raised dam barrier adjacent the peripheral edges of the shelf to prevent any spilled liquid from running off an upper surface of the shelf, thus making the shelf spillproof. Cut-out securement openings are provided in the shelf edge trim to receive the front and rear bars therein, one of the bars being hooked in one pair of cut-outs, and the other one of the bars being snapped into the other pair of cut-outs.

    Abstract: A anti theft device for automobile steering wheel, designed for easily installation and removal, the device is fabricated from tempered steel and finish with the highest degree of craftsmanship. The sleeve envelops the steering wheel and its spokes for protection, the lock is housed on the inside of the sleeve housing, also for protection the protruding bar is attach to the housing permanently at that position. The lock cylinder is installed parallel to the steering wheel, this position protects the cylinder against chemical breach. The locking plate hinged to the under side of the housing, and operates like a slam lock. Provision is made on the device for additional security attachment if and when needed, using the additional attachment will double the security already offered by the device, and also gives the users a choice without changing from the security that this device offers.

    Abstract: A refrigerator door handle including a pull handle and an integral one piece extruded plastic handle cover having handle extensions on opposite ends thereof, the handle extensions having legs thereon for securement to the refrigerator door. In another embodiment, the pull handle is provided with extension bases positioned at opposite ends thereof to receive the handle extensions of the handle cover in a snap-in engagement. In a further embodiment, the pull handle and handle extensions on opposite ends thereof are fabricated from an integral one piece extruded plastic profile. It is noted, that the pull handle extensions or bases can be provided with legs for securement to the refrigerator door.
