Abstract: A training device, including a collapsible stand having a central support shaft and a plurality of legs. In a first position, the legs and central support member shaft collapse into each other. In a second position, the legs and central support shaft extend perpendicular relative to each other into a self-supporting stand having the central support shaft in a substantially vertical position. A plurality of striking pads is releasably coupled to the central support shaft by a quick release connector. A T-bar support attaches to the central support shaft. The plurality of striking pads approximate the positioning of the hands of a person in an offensive/defensive position, the head of the person and the torso of the person.
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a multi-purpose exercise training tool and methods of use thereof. In one embodiment, the multi-purpose exercise training tool includes a planar bottom face and a contoured top face and is approximately elliptical-shaped or circular-shaped. The multi-purpose exercise training tool may include one or more sets of grip portions allowing a user to grip the multi-purpose exercise training tool at different arm width distances allowing the user to target different muscle groups during use. The training tool is made of a hard, durable material and can be manufactured in a variety of weights.
Abstract: A system and method for converting heat energy released by compostable matter into electricity through the use of a compost updraft tower. A compost updraft tower comprises a collector region that contains compostable matter, one or more towers that rise up through the collector region, and one or more turbines. The air within the collector region is heated by the energy released during the composting process, and the heated air flows through the collector region toward the open first end of one or more of the towers. The heated air then rises up through one or more of the towers to the open second end of the tower. The heated air flowing through the system drives turbines that generate electricity. In one embodiment the roof of the collector region is transparent to allow solar radiation to penetrate the collector region and heat air within.
Abstract: A needleshield assembly including an extensible frame, an actuator, a needle and a dispensing device attachment member is disclosed. The extensible frame is capable of moving from a collapsed position to an extended position upon pressure applied to the actuator. In the extended position, the extensible frame both protects the distal end of a needle and renders the needle immobile.
Abstract: A self-contained paint color system and method is described comprising a handled carrying box, at least one container of a base color paint, a plurality of containers containing colored tints, and a “matchbook” styled booklet that incorporates coordinated and matching sheets and self-adhesive stickers. When utilizing this paint color selection system and method, a designer can create and select numerous colors utilizing a single kit.
Abstract: A radio frequency identification (RFID) tag is coupled to a circuit board to track the specific operating and environmental conditions of each manufacturing stage as the circuit board passes through the manufacturing stages. An RFID reader and data collector are used at each stage to read the RFID tag and store its identifying information along with processing information, operating conditions, and results for each stage. This permits to quickly and accurately collect manufacturing information for each circuit board at various manufacturing stages as well as the operating conditions for each stage at a particular time. Such manufacturing metrics can then be retrieved on a stage-by-stage basis for a particular circuit board by an identifier printed on the circuit board.
Abstract: The invention is an irrigation field module matrix configured for wireless communication with a central control server. The central control server contains a database with relevant information regarding features, parameters, and characteristics of a particular irrigation system. This system utilizes proprietary irrigation software to control a plurality of field modules, at one or more remote locations, via a network bridge adapter. An irrigation system may comprise a single server, or multiple servers that may be configured so that control of the entire system is centralized, and control of one or multiple irrigation locations may be accomplished remotely by wirelessly accessing, monitoring and controlling a location's field module matrix.
Abstract: An embodiment of a baseball style cap and stereo combination having a crown, a brim/bill, a sweatband, and two amplified stereo speakers concealed within the brim/bill is disclosed. The baseball-style cap combination further includes a battery holder/forehead cushion housing a battery holder concealed within an inner surface of the baseball-style cap combination by a flap. Also included are wires connecting the battery holder to an amplifier concealed within the sweatband and wires connecting the amplifier to the speakers. A stereophonic music generator sends a music signal which is provided to the amplifier by any suitable means of communication, like an audio cord or wireless by means of infrared or Bluetooth wireless technology.
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to trampolines and component parts including a frame assembly to fold a fixed or foldable trampoline from an expanded state to a collapsed state or vice-versa. In one embodiment, a frame assembly includes a base frame member, two peripheral frame members and two connecting members connecting the two peripheral frame members to the base frame member. The two peripheral frame members are also connected to a center joint which may slide up and down a center frame post via a folding mechanism which may include a crank shaft and an elongated threaded member. In some embodiments, the frame assembly may include hydraulics and the two peripheral frame members may be off-set relative to one another. Embodiments of component parts for the trampoline may also include a plurality of net frame members, a foldable ladder, a wheeled support and a frame pad.
Abstract: A collaboration management system and method is provided for logging, monitoring, alerting, and striping attachments from communications to and from a client/contact into a single record. The collaboration management system receives electronic messages from the one or more devices, strips a first electronic message of a header and content, and stores the content in a record associated with an electronic address in the first electronic message. Additionally, any attachment is stripped from the first electronic message, stored separately from the content, and associated with the record. A single copy of an attachment is maintained and linked to one or more records. A list of users of that should be notified of changes to the record is maintained and a notification is sent to users of a change in the record if the user is in a notification list associated with the record.

Abstract: At least one embodiment of the invention provides a recessed assembly combining a light fixture and a speaker assembly. The light fixture is a light source that is excited via an array of high-intensity light-emitting-diodes (LED) and is imbedded into a ceiling-mounted recessed assembly. The light fixture may be fashioned such that it closely mimics existing, commonly available recessed ceiling lighting assemblies. A speaker assembly is mounted within the recessed assembly so that both light and sound can be provided by the recessed assembly.
Abstract: On implementation of the invention provides a stackable chip-scale package for improving memory density that may be mounted within a limited area or module. A novel staggered routing scheme enables the use of the same trace routing at every level of the stacked architecture for efficiently accessing individual memory devices in a chip-scale package stack. The use of a ball grid array chip-scale package architecture in combination with thermally compatible materials decreases the risk of thermal cracking while improving heat dissipation. Moreover, this architecture permits mounting support components, such as capacitors and resistors, on the chip-scale package.
