Abstract: An aircraft adapted to house a wind funnel and a wind turbine configured to convert the airflow through the wind funnel into electricity. An electrical cable between the aircraft and a ground station transfers the generated electricity from the aircraft to the receiving ground station for distribution. A plurality of aircraft according to certain embodiments may form a system for generating electricity from airflow.
Abstract: A dust collecting apparatus for separating particles from an airflow comprises at least a first cyclonic separator for removing larger particles from the airflow and a plurality of second cyclonic separators, arranged in parallel and in tandem with one another, for removing smaller particles.
Abstract: At least one embodiment of the invention pertains to a collapsible planter apparatus is provided comprising (1) a floor section having one or more drainage holes, (2) a first side wall hingeably coupled to a first edge of the floor section, and (3) and a second side wall hingeably coupled to a second edge of the floor section opposite the first edge of the floor section. A third side wall may be removably coupled between the first and second side walls along a third edge of the floor section. A fourth side wall may also be removably coupled between the first and second side walls along a fourth edge of the floor section opposite the third edge of the floor section.
Abstract: A toy gun for launching projectiles is provided. The gun includes a stock having a first end and a second end, where the first end is secured to an elongated barrel; and a trigger mechanism is secured on the stock adjacent to the elongated barrel for launching the projectiles. The trigger mechanism includes a release mechanism having a lower leg connected to the stock and an upper leg connected to the bottom leg by a spring and the upper leg is moveable between a first position and a second position. The trigger mechanism also includes at least one retaining member extends upwardly through a longitudinal slits in the upper leg. As the release mechanism is moved from the first position to the second position, the projectile attached to the trigger mechanism is launched.
Abstract: The protection of sensitive components on printed circuit boards by using planar transient protection material in one or more layers of a printed circuit board stackup is disclosed.

Abstract: A projection apparatus for generating a moving star field and a cloud-like effect comprises a means for generating a cloud-like effect using at least one non-coherent light source, a means for generating a moving star field using at least one coherent light source and a means for regulating and supplying electric power. The means for generating cloud-like effect using at least one non-coherent light source comprises at least one pair of condenser lenses and an interferential filter wheel rotated by a motor, disposed between at least one pair of condenser lenses. The means for generating the moving star field using a coherent light source comprises a grating wheel rotated by a motor and a diffractive optical element disposed between the at least one coherent light source and the grating wheel.
Abstract: A method is provided for fabricating a multilayer printed circuit board, including embedded electrically conductive elements formed as part of the fabrication of the layers of the printed circuit board. An insulating layer and a conductive layer are then pressed over the electrically conductive elements such that the electrically conductive elements protrude from the surface of the conductive layer. A mechanical process is the applied to remove these protrusions to expose the embedded electrically conductive elements. An electrically conductive undercoat may be applied over the surface of the conductive layer and a second circuit pattern is formed over the electrically conductive undercoat.

Abstract: A trainer golf club is provided having a hollowed shaft with a plurality of concentric weights extending along the length of the shaft for endurance training. The concentric weights may be added or removed to obtain a desired training weight for the golf club. Since the weights extend along the length of the shaft, their weight is substantially evenly distributed along the shaft which keeps the center of gravity of the trainer golf club substantially the same as that of a conventional golf club. Interchangeable golf club heads are provided that couple to one end of the trainer golf club to enable hitting golf balls. By providing multiple different types of golf club heads, the trainer golf club may be customized. Moreover, different size club heads may be coupled to a single shaft to enable a golfer to carry a set of clubs in a small, compact package.
