  • Patent number: 8306215
Abstract: In an echo canceller, a specific frequency component eliminator eliminates a specific frequency component of a specific frequency from a receiver signal to output a resultant signal to an echo path. A specific frequency component detector detects a frequency component of the same frequency as the specific frequency eliminated by the specific frequency component eliminator from the transmitter signal. A noise calculator finds noise power on the basis of power of the specific frequency component detected by the specific frequency component detector, and finds total power including noise and an echo component on the basis of power of a frequency component including the echo component. A control parameter calculator uses the noise power and the total power found by the noise calculator to find a control parameter of the echo canceller.

  • Patent number: 8306472
Abstract: A repeater having different input and output frequencies converts a signal received with the input frequency to a first intermediate frequency signal based on a local oscillating frequency for intermediate frequency conversion, and converts the first intermediate frequency signal to a second intermediate frequency signal by performing digital processing on the first intermediate frequency signal. Then, the repeater generates a first frequency tone signal that corresponds to a difference between the input and output frequencies, and generates a second frequency tone signal from the local oscillating frequency for intermediate frequency conversion and the first frequency tone signal. The repeater up-converts the second intermediate frequency signal to the output frequency based on the second frequency tone signal, and transmits the signal.

  • Patent number: 8301926
Abstract: A data processing apparatus is switchable between a power saving mode and a normal operating mode. A transition triggering event determining section determines an event (e.g., detection of a document or operation of a power saving key) that causes the data processing apparatus to shift from the power saving mode to the normal operating mode, and a transition triggering event holding section stores the event. Then, a mode switching section causes the data processing apparatus to shift from the power saving mode to the normal operating mode in accordance with the event. An execution priority determining section determines based on the event, an execution priority level and/or an order of precedence in which a plurality of programs are executed during the normal operating mode. A program controlling section executes the plurality of programs in accordance with the execution priority level and/or an order of precedence.

  • Patent number: 8300769
Abstract: A microminiature X-ray tube with a triode structure using a nano emitter is provided, which can increase a field emission region as much as possible by means of nano emitters fine-patterned in a cathode to not only increase an emission current per unit area as much as possible but secure high electrical characteristics, reliability, and structural stability by means of a cover and a bonding material. In addition, gate holes having a macro structure can be formed in the gate to promote electron beam focusing by means of the gate without using a separate focusing electrode and to prevent a leakage current from occurring on the gate. Further, an auxiliary electrode can be formed on a top or an inner surface of a cover applied for structural stability to further promote the electron beam focusing and to control the output amounts per individual X-ray tubes output.
