  • Patent number: 9422100
Abstract: A filtering discharge container employing a delaminatable bottle was provided, which reliably prevents a content liquid from leaking out before the first use, and reduces a discharging resistance during the second and subsequent use. An engagement portion (31c) is provided in an outlet passage of a mouth cap (3). A plug (34) is engaged with the engagement portion (31c) in such a manner that the plug (34) can be disengaged from the engagement portion (31c) by an internal pressure of an inner layer bag (22) increased by squeeze-deforming a body of an outer layer bottle (21). The outlet passage is closed with the plug (34) engaged with the engagement portion (31c). After the plug (34) is disengaged from the engagement portion (31c), liquid communication is established between the inside of the inner layer bag (22) and a filter (33).

  • Patent number: 9227018
Abstract: A prefilled syringe of a before-use mixing type not requiring a bypass portion defined by a recessed inner surface portion of an outer cylinder, including first and second gaskets (4,5) fitted in the outer cylinder (2), and non-rotatively and complementarily shaped engagement portions (12, 13) respectively at a front end of the first gasket (4) and a rear end of the second gasket (5) to reduce the period for transferring a liquid between two chambers separated by the gaskets. During storage, the engagement portions abut each other to be kept out of engagement with each other, whereby a drug containing space is defined between the gaskets. When a liquid is transferred from a space defined on a rear side of the first gasket (4) to the drug containing space, the internal pressure of the drug containing space is prevented from being excessively increased.

  • Publication number: 20150335830
Abstract: An object is to provide a syringe that is capable of preventing a cap from being mounted to a syringe body at an oblique angle. The cap includes an elastic cylindrical body for receiving an injection needle therein and sealing a holding part, and an external cylindrical body for covering the circumference of the elastic cylindrical body and holding the elastic cylindrical body in such a manner as to prevent movement of the elastic cylindrical body. The external cylindrical body includes an opening part having a dimension configured to be larger than the holding part of the syringe body, and a guide part that guides the injection needle toward a certain direction by coming into contact with a part of the syringe body when the injection needle is received inside the elastic cylindrical body.

  • Patent number: 9039664
Abstract: In a prefilled syringe including an elastic seal member to be pierced with a needle for use to eject a protein pharmaceutical preparation therefrom, the elastic seal member ensures smooth and reliable piercing thereof with the needle while reliably preventing an active substance of the protein pharmaceutical preparation from being adsorbed thereon. When a protective film (3) is laminated to a top surface of a seal body (2) of an elastic material, the protective film (3) is stretched to a greater extent by a recess (4) provided in the top surface. Further, the piercing portion to be pierced with the needle is provided in a bottom of the recess (4). Thus, the protective film (3) is formed as locally having a smaller thickness in the piercing portion.

  • Publication number: 20140135707
Abstract: Provided is a very safe pre-filled syringe that reduces the time and efforts required in administering the injection. In the pre-filled syringe, a needle unit attached to a vial includes: a substantially columnar retaining member with needles at both ends; a holder member holding the retaining member with three pillar-shaped parts; and a holder member holding the retaining member with three pillar-shaped parts and having an attachment portion for the vial. The needle unit is axially retractable when the pillar-shaped parts are alternately arranged in the circumferential direction, and is not axially retractable when distal end surfaces of the pillar-shaped parts in one holder member face distal end surfaces of the pillar-shaped parts in the other holder member. Axially retracting the needle unit makes an injection needle project, and makes a perforation needle project inside the vial.

  • Patent number: 8529519
Abstract: Provided is a tight-sealing cap for the liquid drug-expelling part of a syringe that not only minimizes the space that creates reduced pressure, which is a cause of leakage, but is also easy to remove because it is easily twisted off, easily deformable and easily admits air for releasing the vacuum when removed, and that can prevent leaking of a liquid drug from a luer nozzle. The cap is made of an elastic material, and the following means are used in the cap, which is configured from a thick upper surface part, an outer tubular part that is formed below the periphery thereof, and an inner tubular part that is formed inside the same. First, the inner tubular part is formed so that the tip of the luer nozzle can be inserted tightly into the same, and the luer nozzle can be tightly sealed at the site of contact thereof. Second, the outer tubular part is formed so that it contacts the luer lock closely therein and can seal the luer lock tightly at the site of contact thereof.

  • Patent number: 8490839
Abstract: In a filtering dispenser container which includes a plug attached to a mouth portion of a bottle thereof and having a liquid discharge passage, and a filter and a check valve provided in the discharge passage, air lock is prevented, even if the container contains a highly percolative liquid, by preventing a very small amount of liquid percolating the check valve from reaching the filter. In the filtering dispenser container, a dam (14) is provided between the check valve (23) and the filter (25) for retaining a very small amount of the liquid percolating the check valve (23) when the check valve is closed. Thus, the filter (25) is prevented from being wetted with the liquid percolating the closed check valve (23) during storage or delivery of the container before the first use of the container.

  • Patent number: 8281962
Abstract: A tongue and groove arrangement guides an outer cap in an axial direction with respect to an inner cap. When a cap is fixed to a mouth of a container body, the outer cap is located in a direction of separating from the inner cap in the axial direction, and an inner face of a top wall of the outer cap is separated from a valve to urge the valve in a direction of projecting from a discharge hole of an inside plug, causing the discharge hole to close. When the cap is detached and removed from the mouth, the outer cap is moved in a direction of approaching the inner cap in the axial direction, and the inner face abuts the valve urged in a direction of separating from the discharge hole while resisting against an urging member, causing the discharge hole to open.

  • Publication number: 20120109072
Abstract: There is provided a syringe capable of preventing the occurrence of “link-thread” from the distal end nozzle when the cap is pulled out, even in the case where the medicinal liquid filled has a high viscosity. The inner peripheral surface (631) of the seal cap (63) in the cap (6) is brought into close contact with the outer peripheral surface (214) of the distal end side portion of the distal end nozzle (21) in the barrel (2) so that the distal end opening (211) is hermetically closed off. At the same time, the outer peripheral side of the luer lock adapter (22) is covered with the outer tubular cover (62) of the cap. The bulge part (213) is formed in the distal end side portion of the inner aperture (212) in the distal end nozzle so that the aperture diameter (d) of the distal end opening is reduced to a small aperture diameter and, in addition, the length of seal (s) by the seal cap (63) is made to be a relatively short, predetermined length.
