  • Publication number: 20110139830
Abstract: Provided is a tight-sealing cap for the liquid drug-expelling part of a syringe that not only minimizes the space that creates reduced pressure, which is a cause of leakage, but is also easy to remove because it is easily twisted off, easily deformable and easily admits air for releasing the vacuum when removed, and that can prevent leaking of a liquid drug from a luer nozzle. The cap is made of an elastic material, and the following means are used in the cap, which is configured from a thick upper surface part, an outer tubular part that is formed below the periphery thereof, and an inner tubular part that is formed inside the same. First, the inner tubular part is formed so that the tip of the luer nozzle can be inserted tightly into the same, and the luer nozzle can be tightly sealed at the site of contact thereof. Second, the outer tubular part is formed so that it contacts the luer lock closely therein and can seal the luer lock tightly at the site of contact thereof.

  • Patent number: 7935078
Abstract: A multi-chamber syringe 10 which can be manufactured at a low-cost and high-productivity is provided. The syringe 10 includes a generally cylindrical barrel 12, a push member 14 and a plug 16, both of which are disposed to fit the inner side surface 12a of the barrel 12 and slidably on the inner side surface 12a. The plug 16 has a main surface 16a provided with a projection 34 having a top 34a which is eccentric to the main surface 16a. When the push member 14 slides in the direction indicated by Arrow A, the plug 16 comes under pressure from the side on the open end 18. When the projection 34 of the projection 16 makes contact with the choked end 20, the pressure from the side on the open end 18 acts to turn the plug 16 in the direction indicated by Arrow B. This causes a bending deformation in a main body 30 and flanges 32a, 32b of the plug 16, to form a first gap 38 and a second gap 40 between the inner side surface 12a of the barrel 12 and the plug 16.

  • Patent number: 6649121
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of making laminated bottles each having an outer layer and an inner layer capable of delaminating from the former layer. The method consists of the step of injection molding an outer preform from a molten first resin, and the next step of injection molding an inner preform inside the outer preform, using a molten second resin. The method further has the final step of blow molding a parison composed of the outer and inner preforms so as to form each laminated bottle. The second resin has a melting point lower than that of the first resin, nevertheless and contrarily to the prior art, precise parisons affording satisfactory lamination can now be prepared by the injection molding steps. In addition, ventilation holes are formed in the outer layer readily and surely without damaging the inner layer.
