  • Patent number: 6581803
Abstract: A discharging container having outer and inner layers with an ambient air inlet formed solely in the outer layer without a valve. The inlet has an opening smaller than the opening of a discharging outlet mouth formed in a cap, so that the outer layer's body part may be squeezed to compress the air between the inner and outer layers, whereby the compressed air depresses the inner layer inwardly and radially to exude a liquid content outwards through the discharging outlet.

  • Patent number: 6536586
Abstract: A combination vessel is capable of carrying out temporary fastening while always bringing down a ring portion subsequently to breakage of a bridge part during an opening operation. A cap portion and a ring portion of a cap type sealing tool are coupled to each other through a bridge part. Through breakage of the bridge part during opening of the cap portion, the ring portion is pulled down while a sliding protrusion on an internal wall in a lower stage area of the ring portion always contacts by pressure an upward spread zone on an external wall of a neck zone of a bottle portion.

  • Patent number: 6516963
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to improve shock resistance of nursing bottles formed of a PES resin so as to provide them with such a sufficient falling impact strength that they can be used pleasantly and safely. The injection-blow-molded PES nursing bottle of the present invention has a gate flash (6) at a central portion of a bottom (5), the flash being generated when the resin is previously injected to prepare a parison. The central bottom portion (5) is raised to be of a convex shape to bulge up towards a mouth of the bottle. A height ‘h’ of such a raised bottom portion is from 9% to 20% of an inner diameter ‘R’ that is possessed by a floor-engaging rim of the bottom, the rim being generally circular in a bottom plan view.

  • Publication number: 20020190079
Abstract: A dispensing container comprises a delaminating bottle (2) as a member for shutting off a liquid content from ambient air so that, without aid of any preservatives, a liquid residue is protected from contamination at a region adjacent to an outlet hole (3a). The container has a flexible nozzle (31) and a rod-shaped closer (32), both disposed in the mouth of bottle (2). The nozzle (31) is made of a pliable and elastic material, with the closer (32) being shaped to close a distal end region of the outlet hole (3a). By squeezing the barrel of bottle to increase its internal pressure, the flexible nozzle (31) expands to make a deformation, which in turn causes the outlet hole (3a) to take an outward open position.

  • Patent number: 6467653
Abstract: A pumping container including a laminated bottle having a delaminatable layer with an inner layer portion serving as a valve for closing ventilation holes. The laminated bottle has the inner layer delaminated from an outer layer and formed on its inner surface. A ventilation hole formed in the outer layer allows ambient air to flow in between the outer and inner layers. The ventilation hole in the outer layer is temporarily closed with a closing portion of the inner layer from inside such that this closing portion will be deformed inwards due to atmospheric pressure so as to open the ventilation hole in response to a negative pressure appearing between the layers.

  • Patent number: 6425886
Abstract: The present invention provides a syringe including a tubular barrel. The tubular barrel has an open proximal end, a distal end with a fluid expelling passage defined therein, and a barrel chamber. A seal is disposed within the barrel chamber a predetermined distance away from the open proximal end in fluid-tight and axially-sliding engagement with the barrel chamber, so that fluid held in the barrel chamber between the fluid expelling passage and the seal can be expelled from the barrel chamber to the outside via the fluid expelling passage by sliding the seal towards the fluid expelling passage.
