  • Patent number: 11607615
Abstract: The systems and methods discussed herein enable providing multi-part persistent content that may maintain a state across multiple presentations, including via different applications. In one such implementation, a first portion of a content item, such as a first level of a video game, may be provided to a client device, and the client device may interact with the game. An identification of a state of the game or completion of the first portion may be provided to a content server, which may store an association of the device or user with the execution state. At a subsequent time, a second portion of the content item, such as a second level of the game, may be provided to the client device, based on the stored association. This can prevent the repetitive transmission of the same content, thereby reducing use of computational and bandwidth resources.

  • Patent number: 11547939
Abstract: A control program for a game device having a storage unit configured to store points associated with players. The game device may receive a request by a player to designate at least a portion of the points associated with the first player as region points of the first player, which may in turn be correlated with a game region designated by the first player. When the first player has the most points for a particular game region, the game region may be set to be a region of the first player. When the first player disposes a first and second game region in a predetermined arrangement, such that the first and second game region has game regions between them, the game regions between the first and second game region may have their point values swapped to put the first player on top.

  • Patent number: 11541314
Abstract: Methods and systems to provide a user interface to access games available for a user account. Selection of a game for game play is detected at the user interface and, in response, a game play is initiated. Interactions provided by a user during game play are used to affect an outcome of the game. The interactions are analyzed to determine game behavior of the user. Behavior metrics are generated for different portions of the game, based on the user's game behavior. The behavior metrics for the user for the game are associated with a game icon of the game provided on the user interface, the association causes specific ones of the behavior metrics to be rendered for the different portions of the game during subsequent game play and are provided to help the user to improve the user's game play for the different portions of the game.
