Abstract: Methods and systems described in this disclosure create a legacy account for a user and an electronic storage unit or space associated with the legacy account. Documents received into the electronic storage unit or space are tagged with an access designation designating who has access to the documents and when the documents can be accessed. In response to receiving an indication of a passing of the user, the legacy account can be designated as an estate account and the access to the documents can be changed in accordance with the access designation and the designation of the legacy account as the estate account.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for providing enterprise level platform that enables collaborative business service delivery and governance through access to underlying infrastructure for connected customer-vendor systems. The said enterprise platform that seamlessly brings together various point solutions with intent of providing a single window that enables access to the underlying infrastructure for a connected customer-vendor IT operations.

Abstract: Resource providers that provide a resource (e.g., electricity) to customers often have programs that operate to save customers money or otherwise benefit the customers. Traditionally, customers enroll in these programs by assenting to enroll in combination with providing that customer's account number. For various reasons, requiring the customer to provide his or her account number dramatically reduces the number of customers that ultimately sign up for a program. Accordingly, customer's willing to sign up for programs offered by the resource provider can do so without the need to give a customer number. Rather, the necessary information can be determined based on an image of the customer's meter.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to, among other things, providing resource allocation advice, configuration recommendations, and/or migration advice regarding data storage, access, placement, and/or related web services. In some examples, a web service may utilize or otherwise control a client instance to control, access, or otherwise manage resources of a distributed system. Based at least in part on one or more resource usage checks and/or configuration checks, resource usage information and/or configuration information of an account utilizing a web service, and/or user preferences and/or settings, resource allocation advice, system configuration recommendations, and/or migration advice may be provided to a user of an account. Additionally, in some examples, one or more remediation operations may be performed automatically.

Abstract: A method for collecting returned items or information about returned items and evaluating return policy criteria with respect to collected items, and a system for the same, are disclosed. The method includes providing a station, such as a kiosk terminal, preferably at a pharmacy location. The station includes a computer and a user interface including a touch screen interface. Items, for example, pharmaceutical items to be returned are brought to the station. The user enters information at the station, such as by scanning a bar code on a container of the item, weighing the item or its contents, and entering lot number and expiration date associated with the item. A system and method for facilitating recalls is also provided.

Abstract: The system obtains a set of tickets representing customer requests generated by a customer-support ticketing system. Next, the system feeds words from each ticket through a model to generate a request vector for the ticket, wherein the request vector comprises numerical values representing words in the ticket. The system then embeds the request vectors in a vector space. If help center articles already exist, the system embeds article vectors for the existing help center articles in the vector space. Next, the system identifies clusters of request vectors, which are within a pre-specified distance of each other in the vector space. If an identified cluster is more than a pre-specified distance away from a closest article vector in the vector space, the system notifies a content creator that a new article needs to be written, or an existing article needs to be updated, to cover the identified cluster.

Abstract: A technique for controlling release of data associated with an account is described. During this data-privacy management technique, a computer system provides at least a subset of data associated with an account to a third party based on a first consent (which may be received from a user of the account). This subset may have a first classification based on a taxonomy. Subsequently, the third party may notify the computer system that additional data has been derived from the data. In response, the computer system may determine a second classification of the additional data based on a taxonomy. If this second classification is other than a subset of the first classification, the computer system may request a second consent (for example, from the user).

Abstract: A collaboration server hosts software for collaborative composition and editing of a media project with project collaborators using different media editing applications each having their own native data format. Project collaborators, such as video editors, sound editors, effects and graphics artists, and producers access a shared project workspace which contains a snapshot of the current state of the media project in a canonical format, as well as source media files, native application metadata, and change notes. Each editing application includes a module enabling it to read the canonical snapshot representation, and also to flatten its native data model representation into the canonical representation for writing to the shared project workspace. A collaboration server hosts the shared project space, and includes a workflow manager for issuing change notifications and handling versions, and an application server for the shared project user interface.

Abstract: The invention is a platform that defines a new way and method of notifying and connecting a customer to a business with a recalled product and accelerating the refund, replacement or the fix of the product to the customer. The invention comprises processed data algorithms and techniques along with new extensions that integrate with existing systems or software. The platform facilitates the communication between users and manufacturers to provide consumers with their refund, fix or replacement for defective products through a resolution center.

Abstract: A plant deliverable management system is presented. The system leverages plant construction agnostic templates to generate plant deliverables (e.g., training materials, inspections, reports, design drawings, etc.). The plant deliverables can be converted from common, a generic format to a format desired by a client paying for the plant construction. The system can also provision a computer system with a released version of plant deliverables where the deliverables are indexed according to a derived indexing scheme generated based on the templates and a client's desired formats or asset attributes.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate to a system that suggests helpful articles to resolve a customer request. During operation, the system receives the customer request, wherein the customer request is associated with a product or a service used by the customer. Next, the system feeds a set of words from the customer request through a model to generate a request vector comprising numerical values representing words in the customer request. The system then compares the request vector against article vectors representing articles in a set of help center articles to determine whether the customer request matches one or more help center articles. If the customer request matches one or more help center articles, the system presents the one or more help center articles to the customer to facilitate automatically resolving the customer request.

Abstract: Mechanisms are provided for determining the meaning of medical values in natural language content. The mechanisms receive patient information from a source which includes at least one of text or a numerical value indicative of a medical value corresponding to a patient. The mechanisms perform cognitive natural language processing on a context of the text or numerical value in the patient information and determine a meaning of the medical value based on results of the cognitive natural language processing. The mechanisms then process the patient information from the source based on the determined meaning of the medical value.

The super model can be a meta-model of the enterprise model. The super model can be a common component of the enterprise model and the environment. The super model can be synchronized in real time with the environment and the enterprise model.

The method involves integrating a plurality of previously separate systems with reusable business transactions associated with managing a fleet of vehicles. The method also involves receiving operational data associated with a vehicle of the fleet, integrating the operational data per customer requirements, packaging and distributing the operational data to the plurality of systems, and installing and distributing the operational data to one or more applications of the plurality of systems utilizing reusable business transactions. The system utilizes a plurality of applications and a plurality of logical subsystems, which are connected to each other through gateways. The logical subsystems use a common format defined by a set of messages. However, the applications can use a plurality of different formats.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for reprinting a receipt. Where a customer has elected to receive electronic receipts, an electronic receipt may be received on a mobile electronic device following a customer purchase or other transaction at a brick and mortar retail store. Where a customer requests that the receipt be reprinted at the time of the transaction, the election to receive electronic receipts is overridden and a paper copy of the receipt is printed at the register or terminal where the transaction was completed.

Abstract: Project asset and preference sharing techniques are described. In one or more embodiments, a request is received to assign a project asset or preference to a member of a team. The received request includes an identifier of a project for which the project asset or preference will be assigned. To assign the asset or preference specified in the request, a list of teams to which the member belongs is ascertained. The assets and preferences associated with each of the teams are then checked for the identifier to identify the project assets and preferences associated with the project. Once the project assets and preferences associated with the project are identified, a response is generated for communication to the member. The response is configured to include indications of the identified project assets and preferences that enable the member to access the identified project assets and preferences via the application, such that the member is also given access to the assigned project asset or preference.

Abstract: Methods and systems for governing service identification in an SOA governance model according to embodiments of the present invention are provided. Embodiments include receiving a set of input parameters for identifying candidate services for the SOA; determining whether the set of input parameters comply with a predetermined input parameter validation policy. If the set of input parameters comply with a predetermined input parameter validation policy, governing service identification includes identifying in dependence upon the set of input parameters one or more candidate services available for the SOA in existing SOA business applications and determining whether each candidate services available in existing SOA business applications comply with a predetermined service selection policy.
