Abstract: Methods and arrangements for providing classification for a business process hierarchy. Packaged application objects are received, comprising at least one of the standard application objects and custom objects. At least one of the standard application objects is mapped to at least one node of a business process hierarchy, thereby forming at least one mapping template. At least one of the standard application objects is mapped to at least one of the custom objects to create a first mapping, and at least one of the custom objects is mapped to at least one of the standard application objects to create a second mapping. The at least one mapping template, the first mapping and the second mapping are combined, to create a mapping of at least one of the custom objects to the business process hierarchy. Other variants and embodiments are broadly contemplated herein.

Abstract: A technique for controlling release of data associated with an account is described. During this data-privacy management technique, a computer system provides at least a subset of data associated with an account to a third party based on a first consent (which may be received from a user of the account). This subset may have a first classification based on a predefined taxonomy. Subsequently, the third party may notify the computer system that additional data has been derived from the data. In response, the computer system may determine a second classification of the additional data based on a predefined taxonomy. If this second classification is other than a subset of the first classification, the computer system may request a second consent (for example, from the user).

Abstract: A multi-tenant hosting system receives business data and tenant-identifying data, from a tenant. The data from multiple different tenants is stored on a single database, but the data corresponding to each tenant is partitioned by marketing the data with a partition identifier, within the database. Therefore, the hosting system only allows individual tenants to have access to their own data.

Abstract: A method and system for assembling business systems by identifying assets and commercialization mechanisms needed for a business system, which are then associated with business components described on a component business model (CBM) map, based on asset types and elemental control structures that are common across an industry, and therefore reusable. The generic elemental control structures needed for the business system are configured and then assembled into a service network for implementing the business system. A business system so assembled may be enhanced by adding elemental control structures to the service network.

Abstract: A computerized method for cross-domain collaborative revision management of a common product. The method comprises: Monitoring a plurality of local revisions for each of a plurality of projects associated with the common product, each of the plurality of projects managed in one of a plurality of domain-specific configuration management tools; creating a collaborative baseline within a collaborative relationship hub synchronizing between a group of the plurality of local revisions selected from each of the plurality of projects; and assembling instructions of generating the common product according to the collaborative baseline.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to providing a user interface including a dynamic visualization of an entire current context of a user, which facilitates understanding and communicating the business knowledge in collaborative business processes. According to embodiments of the present invention, these visualizations can be context sensitive and dynamically adapted to the business process metadata, user's roles, user's location, and the applicable tasks. Embodiments of the present invention provide visualizations of the evolution of the entire context including digital information and the relationships between changed items. These visualizations can include but are not limited to a 360 view, a network/dependency view, and a time-based view.

The data exchange system provides a way to quickly and efficiently implement a virtual manufacturing network that includes multiple logistic plants and an electronic production execution system. The data exchange system and electronic production execution system together form a manufacturing collaboration hub that unifies internal and external manufacturing processes of multiple logistic plants to implement a virtual manufacturing network.

Abstract: A collaboration server hosts software for collaborative composition and editing of a media project with project collaborators using different media editing applications each having their own native data format. Project collaborators, such as video editors, sound editors, effects and graphics artists, and producers access a shared project workspace which contains a snapshot of the current state of the media project in a canonical format, as well as source media files, native application metadata, and change notes. Each editing application includes a module enabling it to read the canonical snapshot representation, and also to flatten its native data model representation into the canonical representation for writing to the shared project workspace. A collaboration server hosts the shared project space, and includes a workflow manager for issuing change notifications and handling versions, and an application server for the shared project user interface.

Abstract: A method, apparatus and program storage device for providing real-time file system charge-back accounting with real time historical minimum and maximum usage per user or group during a report cycle. In a first storage area of file system memory, space allocation data for a current accounting period is monitored and persistently maintained. A minimum, maximum and average space allocation is calculated for the management object during the current accounting period. The calculated minimum, maximum and average space allocation for the management object may be moved to a second storage area of the file system memory while beginning to monitor and persistently maintain space allocation data of the management object in the first storage area of the file system memory during a subsequent accounting period.

Abstract: The present invention is embodied in adaptive rating methods and systems. The adaptive rating method includes receiving a first rating for a first product from a user, receiving a second rating for a second product from the user, identifying a conflict with a processor by comparing the first rating and the second rating, soliciting feedback from the user to remedy the conflict, and adjusting at least one of the first or second ratings with the processor responsive to feedback from the user. The steps of the method may be embodied in computer executable instructions stored on a non-transient machine readable medium that cause a processor to perform the method when executed by the processor. The system includes a processor configured to perform the steps of the method.
