Abstract: A system architecture of a gift transaction system is disclosed. The gift transaction system can include a buyer interface module, a recipient interface module, a merchant backend interface module, a store front interface module, a curation module, a reminder module, an analytics module, or a media plug-in interface module. A method of operating the gift transaction system under the system architecture includes: providing an embedded widget on a website to determine gift intent to initiate a gift transaction by a buyer account for a recipient account; generating a gift buyer interface for a first client device to personalize a gift package including a gift item; generating a gift recipient interface for a second client device to customize the gift package; and communicating with a merchant backend system to complete the gift transaction to ship the gift package.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present disclosure provides a system and associated processes for sharing cardholder data (CHD) between a merchant that utilizes tokenization and a second merchant that may or may not utilize tokenization. In one embodiment, the merchant, or an employee of the merchant, can use the system and associated processes to reacquire CHD from a tokenization provider system. In one embodiment, the merchant identifies to the tokenization provider system a desire to share CHD, which is associated with a token, with a second merchant. The merchant and/or the tokenization provider system can then invite the second merchant to register with the tokenization provider system. Once registered with the tokenization provider system, the second merchant can access any CHD that the merchant associated with the second merchant.

Abstract: Provided herein are methods and systems for the custom-printing of an item including, e.g., a) accepting customer request data for a workpiece and customer request data for a graphic design to cover at least a portion of the workpiece; b) accepting workpiece identifier data from a workpiece database based on the customer request data; c) accepting print design data from a print design database based on the customer request data for a graphic design; d) associating the print design data with the workpiece identifier data; e) printing the print design data onto a hydrofilm portion; f) placing the hydrofilm portion onto a fluid surface in a dip tank; g) applying an activator to the hydrofilm portion to yield an activated hydrofilm portion; and h) dipping the workpiece into the dip tank, whereby the activated hydrofilm portion is bonded to the workpiece as a result of the dipping.

Abstract: A virtual salesperson system and method for tablet computers such as Apple's iPad can be used by the customer (as opposed to most applications which are for the dealer, or on a central kiosk) to provide the customer a tour of a showroom and each vehicle, highlighting key features and other content at the discretion of the OEM, such as videos tours conducted by their spokesperson. In at least one embodiment, the customer can also search inventory, potentially at this dealer and other ‘friendly’ dealerships with whom this dealer has a trading relationship. Other sales tools such as build and price, payment estimation, etc are available as well.

Abstract: Performing an unbiased product search. Keywords related to a product are received. A list of products is generated, based on product information in online content received in response to searches based on the keywords. An anonymized list of products is generated from the list of products by masking product brand names of the products in the list of products. For each product in the list of products, a list of online feedback items is generated. Based on credibility analysis and sentiment analysis of feedback items associated with a product, an aggregate rating score is assigned to the product. The list of products is ranked according to the aggregate rating scores. The ranked, anonymized list of products is presented on a user interface.

Abstract: A device may receive entity data identifying parameters needed by entities to generate a quotation, and entity encryption data identifying homomorphic encryption schemes supported by the entities. The device may receive, from a client device, a smart contract that includes a request for a quotation, client encryption data identifying homomorphic encryption schemes supported by the client device, and identification data identifying the entities. The device may encrypt the data included in the smart contract, based on the entity encryption data and the client encryption data, to generate encrypted data. The device may generate a modified smart contact by replacing the data included in the smart contract with references to the encrypted data. The device may provide the modified smart contract to server devices associated with the entities. The device may receive, from the server devices associated with the entities, the modified smart contract with quotations.

Abstract: Embodiments are provided for enhancing an in-store experience for a user of an electronic device. According to certain aspects, the electronic device initiates an in-store mode of an application when the electronic device is located within a retail store, where the in-store mode may enable certain functionalities having certain capabilities. The electronic device may detect when it connects to a network within the retail store and, in response, may indicate enhanced capabilities of the functionalities. The user may select an enhanced capability, and the electronic device may facilitate the associated functionality.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure described herein provide for a streamlined system for developing an order fulfillment process. The system may include a stateless web resource application programming interface (API) supported by a server, which may be configured as an endpoint to receive order requests (e.g., via an e-commerce website) and generate an instance of a complex object based on the order request. The instance of the complex object may be generated according to an invocable action configured at the system and may include one or more nested data types corresponding to order parameters indicated by the order request. The instance of the complex object may be processed according to fulfillment rules to generate a response to the order request. The response to the order request may include an identification of an order fulfillment center, a fulfillment order, etc.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for an electronic search interface to identify artisan sellers. A search query is received from a client. An electronic item database is then searched to identify items that are relevant to the search query. Two or more items may be offered by each of multiple sellers. A search result listing is generated that includes one item offered by each seller with a greatest display prominence. Other items offered by the sellers may be excluded or displayed with a lesser prominence.

Abstract: A replenishment receptacle comprised of a volumetric region for storing a consumable good during shipping to a consumer location, a processor, a transceiver, programmatic instructions stored in a non-transitory storage medium, an a sensor for determining a quantity of the consumable good in the volumetric region. The sensor periodically detects and reports changes in the quantity of the consumable good present the volumetric region. When the quantity is low (below an established threshold), the consumer good is automatically reordered from a vender, purchased, and shipped to a consumer location. In embodiments, a rate of consumption of the consumable good affects when automatic reordering occurs to ensure the consumable good does not run-out before a new quantity arrives at the consumer location. The replenishment receptacle is able to be discarded in embodiments, where in others it is reusable and/or partially recyclable.

Abstract: Systems and methods of dynamic searching, price comparison, and optimization utilizing novel search engines are provided. A search engine enables searching across multiple virtual private servers in a tailored group of geographical locations. Back-end architecture including one or more databases and tracking tools compares prices of a product or service in the tailored group of geographical locations. The system provides the lowest price for the product or service in the tailored group of geographical locations to a user in any geographical location. The search engine may be provided via a front-end mobile application. A user can drag a sticker icon over any search result to request price information for the product or service shown in the search result and be directed to a pop-up showing the price information for the product or service and/or a website providing the lowest price for the product or service.

Abstract: This invention deals with the next generation improvements in recommendation systems. Retailers want to grow their business and increase sales. One embodiment displays recommendations for inside sales during calls to prospects via a CRM. Another embodiment improves genomic cross-sell by summing correlations between attributes. A third embodiment improves cross-channel personalization by linking personal information, preferably via a one-way hash, to a unique customer ID. A fourth embodiment enables a common core mobile app for different retailers. A fifth embodiment identifies a shopper before purchase to provide personal recommendations while shopping. A sixth embodiment utilizes a market place with shared customers for customer acquisition. A seventh embodiment utilizes customers' preferences and characteristics and sales data to influence recommendations. The characteristics can be combined into a shopper psychographic persona to generate recommendations.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for generating a planogram of a store. The systems and methods may include receiving a plurality of images and transaction data. At least one of the plurality of images may include user data representing a user proximate the product. The transaction data may be associated with a completed purchase of the product. Based on the transaction data and the user data, a probability of the user retrieving the product may be determined and used to generate the planogram of the store.

Abstract: This invention deals with a computer-implemented method for using predictive analytics to find a second set of entries in a first array that are related to a first set of entries in the first array without directly calculating entry-to-entry similarities between entries in the first array, the method including: (a) identifying a target entry in a second array, wherein the first set of entries in the first array are linked to the target entry in the second array; (b) finding likely entries in the second array that have similarities to a target entry in the second array using a correlation; (c) finding linked entries in the first array that are linked to the likely entries found in the second array; and (d) using the linked entries found in the first array as the second set of entries in the first array.

Abstract: A biometric exit system controls exit of a person from an area with an asset. The system obtains a digital representation of a biometric for the person. The system receives an identification of the person using the digital representation of the biometric. Using the identification, the system receives permissions regarding whether or not the person may exit the area with the asset. If the person is permitted, the system allows the person to exit. Upon allowing exit, the system may transmit a message to the person. The message may include a confirmation of a transaction and/or one or more offers to which the person can respond.

Abstract: A system and methods for mapping price and location of tickets in an event venue are described. An interactive event venue seat map is provided by a network-based system that implements an online marketplace for tickets for upcoming events. The interactive event venue seat map enables sellers to view pricing information and transaction information for both sold and current event listings for any section or zone in an event venue. The interactive event venue seat map allows sellers to browse and click on sections to see sold and listed data for any section and zone in the event venue and to compare a proposed sale price to available pricing information of sold and current event listings in comparable sections. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: A system accepts event criteria for at least one ticket and at least one event; accepts price criteria for the ticket(s) and the event(s); displays an interactive graphics-based event venue map illustrating a location of all sections at a venue with at least one ticket meeting the event and price criteria; accepts section selection criteria, at least one section being selected from the interactive graphics-based event venue map; displays ticket information to allow a user to drill down to a specific ticket, cause a location of the specific ticket to be displayed in the interactive venue map; and enable a capability to utilize the interactive venue map to choose a section of interest, causing corresponding ticket information to be displayed in the web browsing language.

The audio query is processed to identify at least one category corresponding to the information requested by the user. Abstract: An apparatus, system and method are provided for facilitating commerce. Audio information describing an item for purchase is received and analyzed to at least one corresponding item category related to the item for purchase. At least one selected from the group of a picture, audio data, and textual information of at least one item for sale associated with the identified at least one corresponding item category is transmitted to be provided for display to a buyer on a display of the device.
