Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for identifying complementary items to items available for sale, lease, download, rent, etc. by different merchants in an electronic commerce system and presenting the complementary items alongside requested items in a user interface to improve a user experience when interacting with the electronic commerce system. The user interface includes a first user interface object that includes the requested items and a second user interface object that includes the complementary items to the requested items. The complementary items are displayed in the second user interface object in vertical alignment with a position of the corresponding requested item in the first user interface object.

Abstract: An apparatus, system and method are provided for facilitating commerce. At least one image of an item is received one or more computing devices from a device associated with a user. The at least one image of the item is compared to a plurality of images of corresponding items for sale using artificial intelligence running on the one or more computing devices. A set of matching images is identified from the plurality of images of the corresponding items for sale matching the at least one image of the item based on the use of the artificial intelligence running on the one or more computing devices.

Abstract: A distributed network transaction system and method includes a central exchange computer connected via the Internet (world wide web) to multiple remote computers associated with, for example, individual brokers. A central database is provided with the exchange computer and each remote computer can have a respective database for information that the individual brokers was to maintain separate from the system. E-commerce transactions are conducted by the system, which performs a number of transaction-related functions, such as pushing tickets up to the system for sale, purchasing tickets online, shipping, web site-related and bookkeeping. The system and methodology accommodate price event functions where non real-time tickets can be sold and the orders filled with tickets acquired on the system.

Abstract: Systems and methods for enabling gifting of a gift product on a merchant store front determine eligibility of an abstract product available for purchase on the merchant store front to be selected as a gift product, the abstract product representing a set of all available SKUs for a given product, a gift product representing a subset of all available SKUs for a given abstract product, and the subset including less than all available SKUs for the given abstract product and greater than one available SKU for the given abstract product; generate and place an embedded widget on the merchant store front to determine gift intent to initiate a gift transaction of the gift product; assign at least one representative SKU to represent the gift product; and mimic an orchestrated transaction between a user and the merchant store front prior to final selection of a specific SKU of the gift product.

Abstract: An apparatus, system and method are provided for facilitating commerce. A set of images of a first item and information associated with the first item is received and analyzed to determine at least one corresponding item category for the first item. A query for a second item is further received. The second item is determined to correspond to one of the at least one item category. In response to determining that the second item corresponds to the one of the determined at least one item category, at least one of the set of images of the first item and at least a portion of the information associated with the first item is transmitted to be presented to the second user on a display of the second device.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide for recommending products from an electronic catalog that are aesthetically compatible with an existing item in a physical space based on a live camera view of the space, and rendering augmented reality views of the recommended products into the live camera view. Specifically, an image of the existing item is used to search a database of images of designed spaces that includes a corresponding object visually similar to the existing item. The image of the designed space may also include other items that are visually compatible with the corresponding object and therefore visually compatible with the existing item. Thus, the images of the other items are used to search an electronic catalog for available items that are visually similar to the other items and therefore would be visually compatible with the existing item.

Abstract: Recommendation systems and techniques are described that use linear stochastic bandits and confidence interval generation to generate recommendations for digital content. These techniques overcome the limitations of conventional recommendations systems that are limited to a fixed parameter to estimate noise and thus do not fully exploit available data and are overly conservative, at a significant cost in operational performance of a computing device. To do so, a linear model, noise estimate, and confidence interval are refined by a recommendation system based on user interaction data that describes a result of user interaction with items of digital content. This is performed by comparing a result of the recommendation on user interaction with digital content with an estimate of a result of the recommendation.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to systems and methods for communicating a primary display comprising information that facilitates visual presentation of a view of a game space to a primary client device and facilitating purchases of content for use in the game through a secondary client device such as a user's smartphone. The system may include a game device that allows a user to play a video game or otherwise interact with a virtual environment using the primary client device and purchase content for use in the video game using a secondary client device while playing the video game using the primary client device. The purchased content may be integrated into the game space such that purchased content is available for use while the user is playing the video game.

Abstract: A method for creating an augmented reality experience. The method includes receiving a value to associate with a stored value token, searching a database for one of products and services that are sold close to the value, matching at least one of a product and a service which is sold close to the value, and creating a record comprising a token identifier and a graphical item representing one of the product and service that is found during matching, receiving a request to initiate the augmented reality experience. The method further includes, in response to the request, preparing data comprising augmented reality information including a video file and the record. Abstract: Accessing measurements associated with garments and leveraging the measurements to determine fit characteristics associated with the garments is described. The fit characteristics may be leveraged to provide information about how a garment fits relative to another garment to streamline online shopping transactions. Fit characteristics may correspond to scores that are determined based at least in part on one or more measurements of a garment. Individual measurements may be standardized and/or weighted. The individual measurements may be combined to determine a score representative of a fit characteristic. Fit characteristics associated with two or more garments may be compared and a user interface may be caused to be displayed to compare garments. The user interface may summarize fit characteristic comparisons via textual descriptions, graphical representations, etc. Users may leverage fit characteristics and resulting user interfaces to comparison shop between various garments.
