Abstract: A centralized accounting system for invoice generation is described as a web-based portal accessible by parties of a supply chain finance relationship via one or more computer networks. The centralized system provides a computer-based, network accessible platform in which a customer and a vendor may negotiate and agree upon terms of a purchase order for products. The centralized system then approves the purchase order based on vendor and customer profile information, and sends a notification of the approved purchase order to a bank. The centralized system automatically generates a vendor invoice for the approved purchase order and submit the vendor invoice to the bank for payment according the terms of the supply chain finance relationship. The centralized system ensures that the vendor invoice is accurate for the approved purchase order. The centralized system may also automatically generate and submit a bank invoice to the customer for the approved purchase order.

The communication device may be configured for receiving utility consumption information from a utility consumption information source, receiving environmental information from an environmental information source, receiving premises information from a premises information source, receiving utility provider information from utility provider information source and transmitting a utility recommendation to an electronic device. Further, the processing device may be configured for analyzing each of the utility consumption information, the environmental information and the premises information and the utility provider information, and generating the utility recommendation based on the analyzing.

Abstract: An advanced data platform may receive an asset pricing request containing information about an asset. An optimization engine may determine a predicted price for the asset at different locations and times and compute a price matrix accordingly. The engine may identify an optimized predicted price from the price matrix, taking into account the spatial and temporal factors and various optimization conditions. A view for presentation of the optimized predicted price for the asset on a client device is generated and communicated to the client device over a network. When the asset is a vehicle, the engine may compute a linear regression model that defines a set of input variables with associated regression coefficients, the set of input variables comprising input variables representing attributes describing the vehicle.

Abstract: An electronic invoicing system performs a method of processing electronic invoices. A portal is provided by the system. The portal has respective views for a supplier submitting electronic invoices and an administrator of an enterprise submitting and/or reviewing electronic invoices. An administrator of the enterprise can create and maintain supplier groups in the portal, assign security permissions to the supplier groups in the portal; and assign users to the supplier groups in said portal. The users thereby receive security permission assigned to the supplier group to which they are assigned. The processing of electronic invoices by users is controlled in accordance with the assignments of security permissions to the supplier groups.

Abstract: As an example, a software application executing on a computing device of a channel partner may access an application programming interface (API) hosted by a server to access a manufacturer's data. The computing device may provide criteria to the API to identify a subset of a set of configurations. The computing device may be used to select a particular configuration in the subset and to perform one or more modifications to the particular configuration to create a modified configuration. The computing device may use the API to access a verification module to verify whether the modified configuration can be built. If the modified configuration is unbuildable, the computing device may be used to make additional modifications to the particular configuration until the modified configuration is verified as buildable. The channel partner may place an order for a particular quantity of the modified configuration.

Abstract: Methods and Systems for displaying product recommendations at a virtual storefront by receiving product recommendations from a plurality of heterogeneous sources. The source servers send the product recommendations from their end that are then normalized and refined by a recommendation engine based on a plurality of factors ensuring that the products are presentable and sellable on the storefront. The recommendation collation is accomplished using a pipeline of stateless processors, thereby providing a highly scalable platform perfectly suited for cloud-based computational platforms.

Abstract: A recommendation appliance, system and method are provided for generating and deploying additional web page content or functionality (e.g., retail recommendations) to an existing web page server system. For example, the present invention may be embodied as a reverse proxy server that is inserted as an intermediate network node between a web server and the end users accessing the web server. In this position, the recommendation appliance can introduce recommendation messages to web pages generated by the web server without requiring any modification to the code or architecture of the web server. In addition, the appliance may separately track the transaction activities of end users who receive recommendation messages and the transaction activities of end users who do not receive recommendation messages, so that a comparison of the effectiveness of the recommendations may efficiently be demonstrated without requiring any modification to the code or architecture of the web server.

After the electronic gift card has been obtained, the service provider electronically notifies the recipient that the electronic gift has been purchased by the purchaser. The notification is viewable by the recipient and includes at least an identification of the item.

Abstract: Facilitating conversations among people within physical spaces is described. An interaction tablet can be housed within a physical space and configured to receive profile information from mobile devices of customers. The profile information can indicate conversational topics that customers are interested in within the physical space. Similarities between conversational topics of customers can be determined and those customers can be recommended to engage in a conversation regarding that conversational topic. One customer can also be provided information regarding what another customer prefers to purchase from the physical space and, therefore, use the purchase to facilitate a conversation to create a more engaging environment within the physical space.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a computer-implemented system within an e-commerce platform may receive and analyse digital images of scenes in order to generate a recommendation for one or more products offered for sale by a merchant. The method continues with receiving uploaded capture information on a searchable database from the camera systems and registering buyers. The method continues with receiving a search request from a buyer based on a specific set of capture information and receiving an uploaded requested video segment in response to the search request. The seller receives payment for the video segment from the buyer and, the video segment is downloaded to the buyer.
