Abstract: A combination carrier adapted to be mounted at a rear of a vehicle consists of an upper frame and a lower frame interconnected by a transverse connecting element. The upper frame is formed by first and second upper arms. The lower frame is formed by first and second lower arms. The first upper arm, the first lower arm; the second upper arm and the second lower arm are pivotably connected to each other at respective first and second hubs. A proximal support assembly is movably arranged at the first hub at the junction between the first upper arm and the first lower arm. The distal support assembly is movably arranged at the second hub at the junction between the second upper arm and the second lower arm.

Abstract: A system and method for reducing manufacturing costs of patterned constructible utensils and improving their constructability. One constructible utensil includes a set of scores (e.g., a quad of scores including an outer pair and an inner pair, a single such pair, or other number of scores) that are shaped to converge when moving from a bowl-region towards the handle portion. The scores do not intersect but stop and produce various alterations in the converging score pattern. These alterations in the converging pattern help with propagation of a bowl-forming fold responsive to a constructing manipulation of the handle portion (e.g., folding, bending, and other operation on the handle portion and one or more scores on the handle portion).

Abstract: A package has a rigid package body and a handle for carrying the package. The rigid package body has at least six faces and a reclosable opening on a face of the rigid package body. The handle is positioned over the reclosable opening and has a first strap, a second strap, and a connection portion. The first strap includes a first end and a second end. The first end of the first strap is attached to one face of the package body. The second strap includes a first end and a second end. The first end of the second strap is attached to another face of the package body that is opposite to the face that is attached to the first strap. The connection portion is located on the second end of the second strap and is detachably engaged to the second end of the first strap.

Abstract: A vehicle mounted securing system is described. A rack is secured to the vehicle. Oblong slots formed in the rack provide a variety of locations at which to secure items to the racks. Brackets, strap mounts and the like are easily and removably attached to the rack by specially shaped disks or pucks which fit within the contours of a slot. Items may be secured by one or more bracket-puck combinations inside or outside of the vehicle.

Abstract: A holster device is disclosed that can conform or contour a body part or article of clothing to which the holster device is secured to. In addition, the holster device can include wings that are attached to a shell, with the wings being configured to flex by way of flexible and/or compressible spacers that are secured between the wings and shell of the holster device.

Abstract: A mobile device holder having a front face, an integral fixed jaw, and a movable jaw positioned facing the fixed jaw and movable in translational motion on the front face. The movable jaw receives a bottom edge of the mobile device and can be moved between a released position for inserting or removing the mobile device, and a holding position in which the mobile device is held clamped against the fixed jaw. The movable jaw includes a protuberance extending along a plane parallel to the front face of the holder and defining a clamping tab for clamping the bottom edge of the mobile device. In use, the tab maintains a space between the rear face of the mobile device and the front face of the holder in order to limit the frictional contact of the rear face of the mobile device with the front face of the holder when mounted.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a connection device for a pannier for a vehicle and a pannier having such a connection device. The connection device includes a pivotable support member having an attachment arrangement for attaching to the vehicle. The pivotable support member is adapted to be pivoted between an attachment position, in which the attachment arrangement is exposed for attachment to the vehicle, and a concealed position. The present invention provides a connection device having an attachment arrangement. The attachment arrangement can be displaced so as not to interfere with objects, e.g., getting snared or caught.

Abstract: A lid of a backpack is disclosed having a compartment in which a standalone daysack having a shoulder strap is arranged. The compartment is transformable from a first state in which the lid is mountable to a backpack to a second state in which the standalone daysack is usable independently from the backpack. In the first state, the standalone daysack and its shoulder strap are stored within the compartment. In the second state, the compartment is inverted by turning the inside out so that the shoulder strap is usable for carrying the standalone daysack.

Abstract: A carrier system for a vehicle having a pair of vacuum devices shaped and sized to mate and secure to a recreational article. Each vacuum device includes a pad shaped and sized to detachably seat with a vehicle to form a vacuum cavity. The vacuum device includes a plunger attached to the pad and in fluid communication with the vacuum cavity, and an indicator positioned on the plunger to indicate the level of vacuum pressure within the vacuum cavity.

Abstract: A smart holster system includes a holster and an electronic data storage device (EDSD) having authorized user identification information stored therein. The holster includes a holster body, a latch and a control system. The holster body forms a compartment having a latch receptacle, where the trigger area of a handgun stored in the compartment is disposed within the latch receptacle. A first portion of the latch is moveable between extended withdrawn positions with the latch first portion being disposed within the latch receptacle when it is in the extended position. The control system unlocks the holster when a control system EDSD reader detects the authorized user identification information stored in the EDSD, permitting movement of the latch first portion from the extended position to the withdrawn position.

Abstract: A plurality of integrally arranged panels include a first panel and a second panel with a fold line therebetween. A compression reinforcement feature has a planar edge oriented orthogonal to a first planar surface of the first panel and perpendicular to a z-axis that defines a stacking load direction, the planar edge being disposed at a distance away from the fold line of half a thickness of the first panel, the first panel having a void between the fold line and the planar edge. The compression reinforcement feature is formed by at least four cut lines that define at least a portion of a closed perimeter of a cutout. One of the cut lines defines a location of the planar edge of the compression reinforcement feature.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for mounting an object within a vehicle are disclosed. One apparatus includes a base, a neck, and a pair of legs. The neck extends from the base, and has a length that is adjustable relative to the base. The legs extend from the base in substantially a same plane as the neck. Each leg has a holding portion configured to hold the object. The legs are rotatable relative to the base such that rotation of one leg causes rotation of the other leg. One method includes positioning the object adjacent a base of a mounting apparatus, adjusting a length of a neck of the apparatus to accommodate the object, and rotating a pair of legs of the apparatus such that holding portions on the legs hold the object, the pair of legs rotatable such that rotation of one leg causes rotation of the other leg.

Abstract: A bicycle carrier system for a vehicle may include guide rails disposed at a lower portion of a bumper back beam, a carrier part provided with a panel part and side portions extending from both sides of the panel part to the guide rails to move along the guide rails, a first driving part connected to the guide rails to move the carrier part along the guide rails, an expansion support part installed between the side portions of the carrier part to support a loaded bicycle, a second driving part installed at the carrier part to be connected to the expansion support part and expandably deploy the expansion support part, and a control unit controlling the first and second driving parts and sequentially controlling the first and second driving parts to draw out the carrier part and then performing an expansion deployment operation of the expansion support part.

A second example automotive storage container includes at least a movable front panel and a movable top panel, the front panel movably connected to a base of the automotive storage container, wherein when the front panel is positioned in an open position, an interior of the automotive storage container is exposed, and wherein the front panel is movable in the open position to slide into a second position under the base of the automotive storage container.

Abstract: A portable container holder is operable to receive a handheld container and broadly includes a support structure and a flexible sleeve. The support structure is operable to support the portable drink holder while being transported. The sleeve includes opposite side walls that present an elongated opening to slidably receive the drink container. The sleeve defines a sleeve axis along which the drink container slides into and out of the sleeve.

Abstract: Dual-compartment food container is provided having an base portion including a base panel having first and second compartments defined therein and a cover portion including a cover panel joined by a common hinge portion. The cover portion is movable relative the base portion about the hinge portion from a substantially 180-degree open position to a closed position, wherein in the closed position, the cover portion is disposed over the first compartment with the second compartment extending beyond the cover portion. Each of the base portion and cover portion include at least one interlocking tab to releasably latch the base portion and cover portion. An engagement feature of the interlocking tabs can also provide a tactile indication to a user that the cover portion is secured in the closed position. A unitary blank for forming the dual-compartment food container from a sheet of blank material is also provided.

The mounting frame has a central hole and a plurality of coupling slots. The handlebar is inserted into the central hole of the frame member, and the coupling slots are provided on a surface of the mounting frame. The coupling slots each have an elongated direction, which is substantially parallel to an axial direction of the frame member, and the coupling slots are substantially parallel to each other. Accessories are connected to the sliding members respectively, and the sliding members each have a coupling portion to be detachably engaged in one of the coupling slots of the mounting frame.
