Abstract: A container holder assembly for a vehicle having a base wall and a sidewall defining a substantially cylindrical cavity. The cavity having a first side half and an opposed second side half. A resilient member extending across the cavity. The sidewall including a plurality of spaced slots and the resilient member including a first end attached to the sidewall at the first side half of the cavity and a free end configured to penetrate a selected one of the spaced slots for releasable attachment to the sidewall. The resilient member being configured to deform upon insertion of a container into the cavity.
Abstract: Holster mechanism techniques are described. In one or more implementations, an apparatus comprises a holster configured to secure a device, a hood connected to the holster, and a locking mechanism. The hood comprises a biasing portion configured to receive a force to cause the hood to move between a closed position and an open position. The locking mechanism comprises a first locking portion and a second locking portion configured to engage the first locking portion to secure the hood in the closed position or the open position.

Abstract: A portable, foldable, one-piece device that attaches to an automobile steering wheel as a holder for a variety of electronic or non-electronic devices. A clear vinyl pocket can hold notebook computers, electronic reading devices, fire and police command boards, clipboards, books, newspapers, phone lists, while keeping them completely visible. The durable, single piece, washable construction has no moving parts. It can be folded and easily stored on the visor of a vehicle. Hook and loop fastener strips may be sewn to the device for added utility. Accessories may be temporarily affixed to these fasteners: such as writing utensils, note pads, lights, pictures, or other personal or work related items. A small pocket is sewn alongside the larger clear pocket for storage if desired. The device can be mounted to the passenger side dash with additional fasteners.
Abstract: A sports ball collection, transport and combination sports goal device is provided, comprising a set of hingedly attached frame members and an internal netted bag attached thereto. The frames are rounded sections of tubular material that are connected at their terminal ends at two hinge devices. The hinges allow the rounded frame sections to be opened and closed with respect to one another, providing access to the internal netting or closure thereof. In an open configuration, the frames provide a structure to hold the netted bag in an open position, wherein balls may easily be placed into the bag. In a closed position, the frame members mate together to form a closed bag and handled device for improved carrying and transport of the device and sports ball contained therein. In an alternate configuration, the frames may be positioned to act as a sports goal for recreational purposes, or to facilitate entry of sports balls within the bag cavity.
Abstract: Articles disclosed herein include a bag that provides various improvement mechanisms over existing backpacks. The bag provides a transport mechanism for carrying various items, such as ski boots or snowboard boots, gloves, helmets, hats, goggles, and other snow equipment common to skiing, snowboarding or other outdoor snow sports. The bag can include a pair of side compartments that carry boots in an approximately triangular compartment. Each side compartment includes a boot void compartment positioned above where a boot toe would be, and in front of a boot shin portion, thereby maximizing storage space an increasing organization convenience. Other features include quick-release shoulder straps for quick access to the bag member while still being supported on a shoulder. The bag can include a front compartment and central compartment, with an interior of the front compartment easily viewable.

Abstract: A carrier apparatus is disclosed for attachment to a bicycle to carry a number of items including sporting good items. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a receptacle suspended from a fixed rear support and a movable front support. The receptacle includes a panel having a rear end connected to the rear support and a front end connected to the front support to cause the receptacle to be suspended therefrom. The apparatus includes a resilient member connecting the front support to the rear support, wherein the front support is tetheringly movable toward and away from the rear support to vary the opening and closing of the receptacle to receive and thereafter secure therein a plurality of differently sized items.
Abstract: A mounting device for aircraft supply systems comprises a cross member and at least one support module including a body having a shape complementary to that of a cross member. The body includes a structure for securing an aircraft supply system, an opening, and a pin, wherein the opening forms a guide that is able to receive a portion of the pin. The cross member includes grooves that are regularly spaced apart in the direction of elongation of said cross member. The pin has a shape complementary to that of the grooves and has a lip transverse to the direction of elongation of the pin. The support module is anchored to the cross member by the pin being inserted into the opening, the pin engaging with one of the grooves, as far as an anchoring position in which the lip is in contact with the support module.

Abstract: A cargo management system for a vehicle includes a beam assembly that has a first end and a second end. At least one of the ends is biased axially outward and compressible axially inward. Each of the ends has a common interface configured to be supportable by the opposing side walls of the vehicle so that the beam assembly is supported at both of the first and second ends by the walls and extends over a floor of a vehicle, with said at least one of the ends compressed axially inward. The beam assembly can be used as a bed divider, to provide two-tier loading, and as a ladder rack.

Abstract: A holder securely holds a canopy shade system for providing protection from sun or rain for a worker or during recreation. The holder is attached to a vehicle's trailer hitch via a receiver tube. A cross arm passes through the receiver tuber and is positionable between a squared position with respect to the receiver tube and an angled position. Telescoping extension arms extend outwardly from each end of the cross arm with a leg located on the distal end of each extension arm, each leg capable of holding an implement such as the canopy shade system.

The receptacles are provided with slots. The fastening loops can be inserted into or passed through the receptacles. Abstract: According to one embodiment, a bicycle support apparatus and method is provided. The bicycle support apparatus can support a bicycle in a horizontal or vertical direction. The bicycle support apparatus can also be secured to any horizontal, vertical, or any angular face. Still further, the bicycle support apparatus can be mounted onto a moveable object, such as an automobile. Slideably secured to an elongated member of the support apparatus is a bicycle fork securement member and a bicycle bottom bracket pad. The securement member secures the fork of the bicycle, and the bicycle bottom bracket rests on the pad. Such securement can be vertically, horizontally, stationary, or moveable configurations.

Abstract: A scarf for wearing around the neck, provides a hidden pocket that is readily accessible to the wearer and that can hold a detachable purse. The scarf is formed of a piece of soft and heavy fabric sewn into the form of a tube with a tube centerline that extends 360° around the wearer's neck. The front of the tube drapes in a plurality of folds on the chest of the wearer to conceal a slit in the tube that can be zipped open and through which the wearer has access to the inside of the tube. To encourage the scarf to lie in multiple folds on the chest, the tube has a taller front end than rear end.
Abstract: In an embodiment, a collapsible storage container for a bed of a vehicle includes a set of panels, a connection system, and a support system. The set of panels are configured to form an enclosed area in a bed of a vehicle. The set of panels are movable into a collapsed state and an uncollapsed state. In the collapsed state, the set of panels allow for substantially all of the bed of the pickup truck to be used. In the uncollapsed state, the set of panels form an enclosed area. The connection system connects the set of panels together such that the panels are movable into a collapsed state and an uncollapsed state. The support system is attached to a front panel to provide support when the front panel is in the uncollapsed position, wherein the front panel is movable to slide under a base of the collapsible storage container.
