  • Patent number: 10036791
Abstract: In a method and a magnetic resonance system for acquiring MR data in a predetermined volume segment of an examination subject, an RF excitation pulse is radiated and MR data are acquired along trajectories extending radially through the center of k-space. The MR data of one k-space spoke, which corresponds to one half of a trajectory, are acquired while gradients are switched. Starting from the same RF excitation pulse, only MR data of one k-space spoke are acquired by starting in the k-space center, acquiring the MR data continuously up to the k-space periphery. The echo time is greater than 1 ms.

  • Patent number: 10031195
Abstract: The present disclosure describes examples of magnetic resonance (MR) detector that may replace conventional MR imaging coil arrays. The present disclosure generally describes an example coil design approach that may reduce the number of components for MR imaging devices and may eliminate the need of tissue matching. In some examples, this approach implements a non-resonant grid in which MR-induced currents are allowed to flow unconstrained over the grid (unlike conventional phased array coils in which current is constrained to flow within each loop). Current in each element of the grid may be detected with inductively-coupled pickup loops, which may be attached to independent receiver channels of the MR imaging system. In one example, individual integrated balun pickup coils may be inductively coupled to each grid element. Other connection arrangements, however, may be employed if desired.

  • Patent number: 10031682
Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and computing device that receives metadata for a block associated with an object from a source storage node. The metadata comprises a source object identifier and the object is associated with a source volume of a source aggregate owned by the source storage node. A determination is made when another block associated with the object has been previously received. A destination object identifier is obtained based on the source object identifier, when the determining indicates that the other block associated with the object has been previously received. A new aggregate block number is assigned to the block based on the destination object identifier and another portion of the metadata. Ownership of the source volume is transferred upon receipt of an indication of a cutover from the source storage node in order to migrate the source volume to a destination volume of a destination aggregate.

  • Patent number: 9995791
Abstract: Examples are disclosed for an integrated circuit (IC) device coupled to a battery-operated power supply unit, such as an IC in a mobile computing device or wireless phone, to accurately determine energy usage drawn from the power supply unit under rapidly dynamic circumstances. A current sense signal of a power line from the power supply unit is digitized. The digitized current sense is added to an accumulator at a rate that is approximately proportional to a voltage of the power line from the power supply unit. The accumulator is then outputted and scaled to units relevant to energy measurements. The energy measurement is used to estimate remaining battery life. Triggering the digitization of the current sense signal may be by use of a pulse generation circuit, or by use of an overflow indicator of an accumulator for a digitized voltage sense signal. Other examples are described and claimed.
