Abstract: A delivery door extension that attaches to an existing door jamb and engages with an existing door is provided. The delivery door extension includes a panel having a planar body with opposing front and rear surfaces extending between first and second side surfaces, a top surface, and a bottom surface, wherein the panel body includes an opening. The delivery door extension also includes a delivery window body configured to move between an open position and a closed position, a hinge mechanism attached to the first side surface of the panel, a blocking mechanism on the second side surface that restricts movement of the existing door, and a frame that includes first and second portions.

Abstract: A collapsible safe box that can be removably or permanently affixed to a structure. The collapsible safe box may include protractible and retractable side member, bottom member, and lid. The collapsible safe box may include one or more electronic devices to monitor and operate the functioning of the safe box. In examples, the collapsible safe box may include means to allow for remove operation.

Abstract: An ash bucket including a container including a closable top opening and a side wall; a side opening disposed on the side wall; and a side cover configured to be hinged at a minimum height at a level of a top edge of the side opening, wherein the side cover is configured to be selectively covering the side opening, wherein upon disposal of a material through the side opening in the container, the side opening is closed with the side cover which suppresses airborne particles of the material to keep as much of the material within the container.

Abstract: A system and method for securing delivered packages is provided. One embodiment employs a j-shaped or u-shaped support member secured to a fixed location structure; a basket configured to receive a delivered package; an articulated frame that opens to receive the delivered package into the basket; and that closes to secure the delivered package within the basket; a latch; and a controller system controllably coupled to the latch, wherein the controller system releases the latch in response to an arrival of a package so that the articulated frame is opened to receive the delivered package into the basket, and wherein after the articulated frame is closed with the delivered package residing in the basket, the latch is engaged to lock the closed articulated frame.

The two bores are axially aligned and receive at least one elongated hinge component. The elongated hinge component operates to both couple the first and second frame portions together for pivoting movement relative to one another, and also provides a torsional biasing force to enable pivotal deployment from a first position to a second position of one of the first or second frame portions.

The cash box comprises a box body, a supporting plate and a self-locking assembly, where the self-locking assembly includes a stop plate disposed between a side wall of the box body and the supporting plate, and the stop plate is movably connected to the box body and has a lifted position and a lowered position; in a case where the stop plate is in the lifted position, the stop plate is in fit with the supporting plate to lock a position of the supporting plate; and in a case where the stop plate is in the lowered position, the stop plate is separated from the supporting plate to unlock the position of the supporting plate. The cash recycling and handling device includes at least one above-mentioned cash box.

Abstract: The disclosure concerns an improved doormat having an anchored frame surrounding a center portion. A collapsible storage apparatus is rotatably coupled to the anchored frame and is configured to deploy into an expanded state and retract into a collapsed state. The collapsible storage apparatus is configured to store and secure delivered packages. In some embodiments, the center portion includes a doormat material disposed on an upper surface thereof. In some embodiments, the collapsible storage apparatus is disposed between the center portion and the anchored frame while in a collapsed state.

Abstract: Disclosed are a banknote stacking and separation apparatus and a cash recycling and handling device. The banknote stacking and separation apparatus includes a frame provided with a banknote accommodating space. A pickuping roller, a feeding roller and a gate roller are provided in an upper part of the banknote accommodating space, and the feeding roller and the gate roller are oppositely arranged. The banknote stacking and separation apparatus further includes a guiding plate and a guiding plate driving mechanism. The guiding plate is located in the banknote accommodating space and pivoted with the frame, and the guiding plate driving mechanism drives the guiding plate to rotate from a guiding position to a lifting position. The guiding plate shields the pickuping roller when the guiding plate is at the guiding position, and the guiding plate exposes the pickuping roller when the guiding plate is at the lifting position.

Abstract: A laundry basket lining device for preventing contact of a user's laundry with a laundry basket includes a sleeve, which is insertable into a laundry basket so that the sleeve covers an interior surface and a rim of the laundry basket. The sleeve is selectively engageable to the laundry basket so that sleeve is removably engaged to the laundry basket. The sleeve thus prevents contact of a user's laundry with the laundry basket.

Abstract: Systems are disclosed for producing audio that is audible outside a collection box for delivery items, the collection box including a user-operated door. The system can include a trigger device, a sensor, an audio transducer that generates the produced audio from an audio signal, an audio chip and one or more processors. The sensor can detect the trigger device when the trigger device is in close proximity, and the one or more processors can be operably connected to the sensor and to the audio chip, where the one or more processors signal the audio chip to send the audio signal to the audio transducer. The one or more processors can further receive and record a status signal indicating that the door is in an opened state. Systems can further include an environmental sensor that measures environmental information.

Abstract: A retractable arm device, system, and method with a locking mechanism for preventing items placed in a device or receptacle from getting stuck, damaged, or torn. The retractable arm includes an inner tube, a pawl, and an outer tube surrounding the inner tube. The inner tube slides within the outer tube and the pawl preventing the retractable arm from moving into an extended position under particular conditions. The retractable arm may be placed in a receptacle for items to prevent the door from being reopened before the door is fully closed.

Abstract: An adjustable length counterbalance mechanism for lift doors, frequently used for cargo trailers and garages. The adjustable length torque shaft of the counterbalance mechanism is able to accommodate many different lift door widths and is simpler to install than a fixed length torque shaft. In embodiments, the adjustable torque shaft is comprised of two outer torque shafts, each with a torsion spring and cable drum and a middle torque shaft that can be assembled together. The middle torque shaft can be inserted into each of the outer torque shafts to a selected depth to determine the length of the adjustable torque shaft.

Abstract: Disclosed is a funerary capsule for viewing and transporting dead bodies, including: a casket for containing the body, provided with a side wall and with a closing lid; a bag for containing the body, which can be placed in the casket. The casket includes a hinge for the side wall and the lid, adapted to allow the movement thereof by rotation, and where the bag includes handles and closing ties to facilitate insertion of the body into the casket, extraction therefrom and loading thereof into the crematory, wherein the casket includes rotation hinges of pivot type, adapted to allow reversible lifting of the related side wall.

Abstract: The secure parcel delivery receptacle comprises a parcel receptacle, a locking cover, a scanner, and a camera. The parcel receptacle may accept a parcel for delivery. Access to the parcel receptacle may be via the locking cover which may be unlocked by the scanner. The camera may record one or more images as proof of delivery. The parcel receptacle may be a container into which the parcel may be placed. The parcel receptacle may have an access aperture through which the interior of the parcel receptacle may be accessed from the exterior of the parcel receptacle. In embodiments, the parcel receptacle may be a bag or a box.

Abstract: A lockout device for an opening of a collection box, such as a postal collection box. The lockout device can include a cover sized to block the opening to prevent access to the contents of the collection box through the opening. In one example, the cover can be assembled over the opening and a locking pin can be inserted through apertures in the lateral sides of the opening walls and lateral sides of the cover. The locking pin can be lock in place using a lock and lock guard. In another example, the cover includes an internal extension assembly with clamping mechanisms that can engage with the lateral sides of the opening.

Abstract: A locking fastener may include a head and a shaft with a pin interface configured to engage a pin for locking the locking fastener in place. Such locking fasteners may be used to connect a plurality of casket components, and are especially useful for wooden caskets. Methods of making such locking fasteners using a fastener finishing device are also described herein.
