  • Publication number: 20240090765
Abstract: In certain embodiments, a system generates image data for an image of the interior of an eye. The system includes a camera apparatus and patient interface. The camera apparatus includes a camera stem, sensor, processor, and communication interface. The camera stem has illuminators that emits light and an objective lens system that receives light. The sensor generates a signal in response to detecting light received by the objective lens system. The processor generates image data from the signal, and the communication interface outputs the image data. The patient interface includes a contact portion and a sleeve. The contact portion is shaped to conform to an anterior eye surface of the eye. The sleeve is shaped to receive the camera stem. The sleeve directs light from the illuminators towards the eye interior, and directs light reflected from the eye interior towards the camera apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20240096489
Abstract: In certain embodiments, a method for analyzing a retinal image of an eye for retinal disease includes conforming a contact portion of a patient interface to the surface of the eye. A camera stem is received by a sleeve of the patient interface. Light from the camera stem is directed by the sleeve towards the interior of the eye, and light reflected from the interior of the eye is directed by the sleeve towards the camera. Image data generated by the camera is output to a computer. Options representing actions that facilitate analysis of the retinal image are displayed at the computer. The retinal image is displayed at the computer according to the image data. A selection of an option is received by the computer. The action represented by the option is performed by the computer to facilitate analysis of the retinal image.

  • Publication number: 20240023756
Abstract: An electric grill comprises a heating platform, side walls, and grill bars spaced above the heating platform, together defining a heating chamber. The heating platform is heated electrically. A first air supply delivers pressurised air evenly across the heating platform from a central location. A second air supply directs airflow along the side walls to create a vortex of air flowing around the first air supply. The forced airflow provides for fuller combustion of fats and oils from foodstuffs being cooked so that no fat tray is required.

  • Patent number: 11792196
Abstract: In the context of a co-browse session, one of the participants elects to include a screenshare task in which a screenshare of a browser window displaying a website will be provided to other participants of the co-browse session. When the screenshare task is started, a location of an address bar of the web browser is identified, optional pre-processing is applied to the image of the address bar, and a character recognition process, is used to determine the characters of the URL in the browser's address bar. The URL is compared with a list of allowed website URLs, and the screenshare session is selectively allowed only if the URL is contained in the list of allowed URLs. Once the URL has been approved, a slice of pixels the address bar is obtained and monitored for changes to the pixels that may indicate a change to the URL.

  • Publication number: 20220278992
Abstract: Secure sharing of a document on a co-browse session is implemented by causing a JavaScript implemented document viewer to create HTML5 description of a rendered view of a document's content, and transmitting the HTML5 description of the rendered view of the document content as a DOM elements on the co-browse session. The rendered view of the document is overlayed on the web page being co-browsed, which enables the participants to the co-browse session to collaboratively view the rendered view of the document. However, since the document itself only resides in the visitor's browser, the document itself is not transmitted on the co-browse session. Media URLs can also be shared, and the participants' views of the audio/video media is synchronized by causing the video to play locally at each participant but synchronized with the visitor. Live video of the participants to the co-browse session is also implemented.

  • Publication number: 20210114730
Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle has a thrust body including a control system, thrusters to generate lift and direct the UAV in response to control signals from the control system. A spherical fender cage envelopes the thrust body. Spokes extend radially from the thrust body to support spherical thrust bearings able to slide freely against the internal spherical surface of the fender cage such that the fender cage is uncoupled from the thrust body and can rotate freely in any spherical direction without the use of any gimbal mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20200240576
Abstract: A positioning stage employs a constraining plate having three contact elements fixed therein, each contact element protruding from the constraining plate providing a lower engagement surface and an upper engagement surface. A first plate has at least two slots aligned for a first axis of translation. The slots are engaged by the lower engagement surfaces the contact elements. A second plate has at least two slots aligned for a second axis of translation. The slots are engaged by the upper engagement surface of two of the contact elements, thereby providing two axes of motion for positioning.

  • Patent number: 10391515
Abstract: An applicator assembly may include an applicator member and a pump. The applicator member may include an applicator surface substantially matching a surface of a pipe or fitting. The pump may cause a fluid to flow via one or more channels onto the applicator surface. When the pipe or fitting is positioned within or around the applicator surface the pump causes the fluid to flow between the applicator surface and the surface of the pipe or fitting applying the fluid to the surface of the pipe or fitting.

  • Patent number: 10260914
Abstract: A displacement sensor has a graded index multi-mode fiber with a length that is an odd multiple of a quarter pitch length of the graded index multi-mode fiber and a single-mode optical fiber fusion spliced to the first end of said graded index multi-mode fiber. A reflective mirror coating is applied to a planar facet on the second end of said graded index multi-mode fiber. A plurality of mechanical attachments are spaced along the graded index multi-mode fiber and single-mode optical fiber that mechanically deform said graded index multi-mode fiber, when any one of said plurality of mechanical attachments is displaced relative to any other one of said plurality of mechanical attachments.

  • Patent number: 9869696
Abstract: Using a local-potential-driving probe drives a conductor to a known potential while adjacent lines are grounded through the sample body reduces electrostatic scanning microscope signal from adjacent lines, allows imaging of metal lines deeper in the sample. Providing different potentials locally on different conductive lines using multiple local-potential-driving probes allows different conductors to be highlighted in the same image, for example, by changing the phase of the signal being applied to the different local-potential-driving probes.
