  • Patent number: 11937906
Abstract: Systems and methods for monitoring blood flow metrics using a patch of a flexible substrate configured to attach to an area of skin over a blood vessel. The patch includes a plurality of light sources arranged on the substrate to form a matrix and a row of photodetectors disposed on the substrate substantially in parallel with the rows of LEDs. The patch includes an optical signal interface configured to drive each light source and to input an intensity signal at one of the photodetectors. The intensity signals are used to determine AC and DC components corresponding to each optical path. AC to DC component ratios are calculated for each optical path and used to determine ratio-of-ratio values. At least a subset of the ratio-of-ratio values are used to determine a biological metric or a cross-sectional area of the blood vessel.

  • Publication number: 20240085861
Abstract: An industrial controller can perform multi-dimensional optimization locally using the controller's native hardware and processing. An optimization algorithm is encoded on the industrial controller in a language understandable and executable by the controller (e.g., IEC61131-3). The optimization algorithm is adapted for the scan-based processing performed by industrial controllers rather than sequential processing, thereby allowing the optimization algorithm to be executed by the industrial controller as part of the controller's control program execution. A control program development system allows a user to add and configure the optimization algorithm as an instruction within the controller's control program. The instruction's configurable parameters allow the user to submit constraints and cost functions for the algorithm.

  • Publication number: 20230266189
Abstract: A real-time belt tension sensing system includes an engagement assembly that is adapted to remain in substantially continuous contact with a belt that is being driven in a conveyance or drive direction. As the belt is driven in the drive direction, it simultaneously causes the position of the engagement assembly to move in a slack direction that is substantially perpendicular to the drive direction. A tension sensor produces a slack position signal based on the current position of a portion of the engagement assembly. The slack position signal is transmitted to a controller or control circuit in electronic communication with the tension sensor. The control circuit interprets the slack position signal to produce a tension measurement.

  • Patent number: 11663670
Abstract: The Use Determination Risk Coverage Datastructure for On-Demand and Increased Efficiency Coverage Detection and Rebalancing Apparatuses, Methods and Systems (“UDRCD”) transforms coverage enrollment request, event signal inputs via UDRCD components into coverage enrollment response, add-in recommendation outputs. A coverage enrollment request from a user is obtained. Available options for an enrollment user interface are configured based on the plan sponsor settings. Copay setting selections for individual core coverage services, atomized condition add-in selections, and atomized procedure add-in selections are obtained via the enrollment user interface. A core coverage cost and add-in coverage costs are calculated using the associated modeling data. A user cost for the user is calculated based on the core coverage cost, the subsidization settings for the core coverage cost, the add-in coverage costs, and the subsidization settings for the add-in coverage costs.
