  • Publication number: 20090327853
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for comparing and selecting form-based functionality may be provided. A user may select a particular functionality of an application. Various options for providing the functionality, which may be sorted by category, may be presented to a user in a single interface. The user may select each option to see more information about how the option would accomplish the desired functionality. The additional information may also preview the effect of choosing each option. If all of the options do not fit on the user's display, the options may be scaled to allow the display of more options.

  • Publication number: 20060183549
Abstract: The home viewing audience of a program that is broadcast over a television or other mass media network plays a game by matching events on the program or its commercials with a personal telephone number or similar personal codeword. In one version, the organizers distribute a code table listing events that might occur on the program, and associate a code with each such event. A player watches for events listed on the code table, hoping to match the associated codes to parts of his codeword. A player becomes eligible to win if his entire codeword is successfully matched to codes of events that actually occur on the program, and may telephone a predetermined telephone number to declare his eligibility to win prizes. A second version of the game is like the first except there is no code table; the players watch for direct appearances of the codes themselves.

  • Patent number: 6857060
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method features operations for executing instructions in an instruction window. The first and second instructions are examined to determine their sources and destinations. The written on bit of the first instruction is set to a “written on” state if the destinations of the first and second instructions are the same while a used bit of the first instruction is set to a “used” state if the source of the second instruction is the destination of the first instruction. Thereafter, a priority of the first instruction can be determined from the written on and used bits.

  • Patent number: 6409390
Abstract: A duplex bearing mount including at least one duplex bearing having an inner race and an outer race, the inner race disposed within the outer race and being rotatable relative to the outer race about an axis, the inner race having substantially no relative movement relative to the outer race in at least one direction along the axis, the inner and outer races each having first and second axial faces which are respectively located at the same axial end of the duplex bearing. The duplex bearing is radially supported by a housing, and a shaft extends through the inner race, the shaft radially and axially supported by the inner race. A first retainer is connected to the housing and engages the first axial surface of a bearing race, the movement of which race in a first direction along the axis being constrained by the first retainer.
