  • Publication number: 20020012050
Abstract: An image pickup system that is small in scale, handy to maneuver, easy to operate and advanced in editing capabilities is disclosed. A commander device is used both as a remote commander and as a microphone in operating a video camera for image pickup. Wearing a headset on the head, a user looks at images appearing on a headset display to monitor and verify recorded images without recourse to a view finder of the video camera. Functions of the components making up the system are changed by operation of a mode switch attached to the video camera.

  • Patent number: 6092786
Abstract: Provided is a gate valve for opening and closing an aperture formed in a body of a chamber and designed so that an object is loaded into or unloaded from the chamber, comprising a lift mechanism provided on a side portion of the chamber body, a supporting portion supported by a lift mechanism for up-and-down motion, a valve plate supported by the supporting portion and movable between a closed position such as to close the aperture of the chamber body and an open position such that the valve plate is separated from the aperture to leave the aperture open as the supporting portion is moved up and down by the lift mechanism, and a separating mechanism for allowing the valve plate to move to a position ahead of the aperture so that the valve plate is separated from the aperture.

  • Patent number: 4972095
Abstract: A pulse shaper is disclosed which shapes a vehicle speed signal developed by a tachometer and pulsating with a frequency which is proportional to a vehicle speed into a rectangular wave pulse. A reference potential line is biased above a common potential. The vehicle speed signal has its level clamped to a range from 0.6 V below to 0.6 V above the potential of the reference potential line. A first IC comparator digitizes the clamped speed signal into a binary form around the potential of the reference potential line. When the reference potential line becomes short-circuited to the common potential. The clamped vehicle speed signal which is applied to the inverting input of the first comparator reduces below the common potential, giving rise to the likelihood of an erroneous pulse. A second IC comparator then detects a reduction in the potential of the reference potential line to constrain the output of the first comparator to an L level, preventing an erroneous pulse from being delivered.

  • Patent number: 4876527
Abstract: A vehicle speed detecting device utilizes two vehicle speed pulse generators, a vehicle speed memory device, pulse counters, abnormality detectors, pulse signal transfer devices and an alarm device which are all integrated into the electronic control circuit of a micro-processor through two sets of signal processing devices. The detecting device not only indicates the speed of the vehicle but also detects abnormalities in either of the vehicle speed pulse generators and provides an appropriate alarm.

  • Patent number: 4742988
Abstract: An electrical apparatus is disclosed which comprises a combination of a solenoid device such as a solenoid valve, a relay or a plunger driving solenoid device and an energization control circuit which energizes the solenoid device. One end of an electrical cable is connected to the solenoid valve while the other end of the cable is connected to a connector. The electrical cable prevents the transmission of oscillations which the solenoid valve experiences to the connector. The energization control circuit is housed within the connector. The energization control circuit responds to a changing of a given switch from its on to its off condition, by energizing the electrical coil only during a given time interval. When the time interval has passed, it interrupts the energization of the electrical coil, and the energization control circuit itself is substantially disconnected from the power source.
