  • Patent number: 6542370
Abstract: A heat dissipating device has a conductor holder and a heat conductor. The conductor holder is securely attached to the CPU base and has a through hole. The heat conductor is securely connected to the through hole in the conductor holder and contacts with the CPU. The heat conductor comprises multiple heat conductive elements made of a material with good heat conductivity. One end of the heat conductive elements are twisted together to form a bound section on the first end of the heat conductor. The other end of each heat conductive element is far away from the other element so as to form an expansion section on a second end of the heat conductor. In such an arrangement, the heat generated by the CPU can be efficiently dissipated from the expansion section of the heat conductor.

  • Patent number: 6339264
Abstract: There is disclosed an apparatus and a method for forecasting output voltage of a battery of a digital camera. A dummy load is disconnected after the digital camera is powered on. An output voltage of the battery is obtained when he dummy load is off. The dummy load is then conducted. An output voltage of the battery is obtained when the dummy load is on. An internal resistance of the battery and the output voltage of the battery in operating the power consumptive elements are determined based on the output voltages, so as to obtain the voltage drop of the output voltage of the battery caused by power consumptive elements thereby being aware of the remaining power of the battery and obtaining the maximum power supplying efficiency for the digital camera.

  • Patent number: 6199784
Abstract: An automatically rewindable wire device includes a stationary member having a stationary shaft, and a rotary member mounted rotatably on the stationary member and having a windup portion around the shaft. The windup portion and the shaft confine a space. The windup portion has an opening which is communicated with the space and which is spaced apart radially from the shaft. The device further includes a wire having a first portion fixed to the stationary member and a second portion extending outwardly of the stationary member from the first portion of the wire. The second portion of the wire is wound around the shaft in a first angular direction within the space and then wound around the windup portion in a second angular direction by passing through the opening. The second angular direction is opposite to the first angular direction. A windup spring is connected to the rotary member to urge the windup portion to wind up the wire.
