  • Publication number: 20220147494
Abstract: A first request to create a folder to organize data files that are to be stored at a third-party storage server is received at an application server and from a user device. Responsive to receiving the first request to create the folder, a second request indicating that the folder is to be created at the third-party storage server is sent by the application server and to the third-party storage server. An indication that the folder has been created at the third-party storage server is received from the third-party storage server. Responsive to receiving the indication that the folder has been created at the third-party storage server, an instance of the folder is generated by the application server.

  • Patent number: 11295060
Abstract: A method for editing and updating content of a collaborative document within a preview user interface is provided. The method includes a content management platform receives a request for a file stored which is stored in a third-party application format. The system causes a rendered graphical image of the file to be presented within a preview user interface. The rendered graphical image of the file represents a view of the file as if opened within a third-party application. The system receives from the preview user interface, content associated with a portion of the file. The system generates a new version of the file that includes the content associated with the portion of the file.

  • Patent number: 10786048
Abstract: A cord lock has a housing with an interior cavity and an opening extending between the front and the back for receiving a cord, and an actuator having two legs that are configured to slide within the interior cavity of the housing. A spring is disposed between the housing and the actuator to bias the actuator in a raised position relative to the housing. There is a cam disposed in the interior cavity of the housing. The bottom of the cam is rotatably connected to the housing and the top is rotatably connected to the legs of the actuator. In a resting position, the spring presses the top of the cam against the housing such that when a cord is extended through the opening, the cam locks the cord in place between the cam and the housing. Depressing the actuator compresses the spring and rotates the cam.

  • Patent number: 10709207
Abstract: A attachment system is formed by a primary device and a secondary device connected to the primary device in a pivoting manner. The primary device has a main body, two lateral sides and a bar for attaching the primary device to another object. Each of the lateral sides has a protrusion extending laterally outward from the lateral sides. The secondary device has two lateral sides, each equipped with an aperture that corresponds to one of the protrusions on the primary device, so that fitting the protrusions into the apertures pivotally connects the primary device to the secondary device, with the lateral sides of the secondary device being disposed outside of the lateral sides of the primary device. The secondary device can be pivoted between a folded position where the secondary device lies against the primary device, and an open position where the secondary device is raised up.

  • Patent number: 10433619
Abstract: A strap adjustment system has a base body having a bottom wall, two side walls and a strap retaining bar extending between the two side walls, the bottom wall having an aperture therethrough with screw threads extending around an inside surface, and a screw disc having a central protrusion and screw threads extending around the central protrusion. The central protrusion fits through the aperture in the base body by rotating the screw disc so that the threads in the screw disc mate with the threads in the aperture, such that a height of the protrusion above the bottom wall of the base body is adjustable by turning the screw disc. In situations where a high degree of friction is required, the protrusion can be positioned at a maximum height through the aperture, and in situations where a low degree of friction is desired, the protrusion can be positioned lower.

  • Patent number: 10423013
Abstract: Clip-on sunglasses for plastic eyeglass frames are shaped more like a bracket, with a nearly 90° bend to accommodate the thickness of plastic eyeglass frames. The ends of the bracket also angle for 45° towards each other to avoid hitting the nose piece of the plastic eyeglass frame. In the clip-on sunglasses, a latch controls two arms to rotate the arms up to a 45° angle with respect to a pair of plastic eyeglass frames. The arms are formed in three bent portions so as to extend away from an interconnecting rod portion. The three bent portions of the arms allows the latch to fit the shape of the plastic eyeglass frame along the bridge portion of the eyeglass frame as effectively as possible and minimizes movement of the clip-on sunglasses relative to the eyeglass frame.

  • Patent number: 10387383
Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein provide access to a data file stored at a remote data storage system. A user device can send a file access request, via a user interface provided by the remote storage server, to the application server to access a data file stored at the remote storage server. The application server can then optionally identify a relevant application for accessing the data file, and send, to the remote server, a metadata-and-content request relating to the data file. The metadata-and-content request includes version information of a previously cached version of the data file cached at the application server. When the cached version is not the latest version, the application server receives the latest version of the data file from the remote storage server. The latest version of the data file is then presented, via the relevant application on the application server, to the user device.
