Abstract: A method for installing software components includes: a terminal receives a software component package delivered by a Device Management (DM) server directly or a download address of the component package and a command instructing to download delivered by the DM server, where the software component package contains more than one software component; when the terminal receives the download address and the command instructing to download, the terminal downloads the software component package from the download address; the terminal installs the obtained software component package locally and generates management nodes and subnodes of the management nodes corresponding to the software components under a Deployed subtree of the Software Component Management Object (SCOMO) of the terminal. With the present invention, the process of installing software component is more reasonable. A system and apparatus for installing software components are also provided.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a data synchronization method, system and apparatuses thereof. The data synchronization method includes the following processes: sending, by a client, a data characteristic verification message carrying one or multiple data characteristics for data in a client database, to a server; comparing, by the server, the one or multiple data characteristics carried in the data characteristic verification message with the data characteristics for the data in a server database; determining, by the server, the data to be synchronized based on a result of the comparing and sending the client a data characteristic verification response carrying information indicating the determined data to be synchronized. The method, system and apparatus thereof provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure can reduce the amount of data to be transmitted in data synchronization, and improve the efficiency of data synchronization.

Abstract: A method, system, and device for reporting User Agent Profile (UAP) information are disclosed. In the embodiments of the invention, UAP information is associated with an attribute group label, and a client identifies the attribute group label and reports UAP attribute information associated with the identified attribute group label to a server side according to the identified attribute group label, thereby avoiding reporting all UAP attribute information and further saving network resources. Moreover, in the case that a change occurs in the value of a device capability UAP attribute of a terminal or in the attribute group label of the server side, if such a change affects an existing service, the client only needs to send the changed device capability UAP information to the server side, thereby further avoiding transmitting a large volume of UAP information and further saving the network resources.

Abstract: A method for processing presence information is disclosed. Presence information includes different values of a presence element, classes corresponding to the values and presentity information. Authentication configuration information of a presentity is obtained according to the presentity information. A right rule is obtained by resolving the authentication configuration information. The right rule includes a correlation configured by the presentity between a watcher identity and a class of a group that the watcher identity pertains to. A value of the presence element is sent to a corresponding watcher according to a correlation between the class corresponding to the value in the presence information and the class derived from the right rule obtained from the authentication configuration information.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a data synchronization method, system and apparatuses thereof. Abstract: The present invention discloses method, system and network server for recording use of network service capability by applications (APPs), and the key points of the methods comprise: a network server acquires an identity of the APP and type information of the network service capability providing services for the APP, conducts service logic processing, and writes a message of use of network service capability, which comprises at least the identity of the APP and the type information of the network service capability providing services for the APP. With the methods of this invention, the purpose of making effective records of use of network service capability by APPs provided by service providers is implemented. Furthermore, management of APPs, such as charging, may be conducted by utilizing the records.

Abstract: A method, a terminal, an apparatus, and a system for device management (DM) are provided. Specifically, a DM terminal, a DM apparatus, method for managing the terminal device are provided. The method for managing the terminal device includes the following steps: adding, by a DM terminal device, amanagement nodes in a DM tree of the DM terminal device; and recording, by the DM terminal device, MOs types supported by the DM terminal device in the management nodes added in the DM tree of the DM terminal device. Therefore, the problem that the server does not know the DM applications supported by the terminal, and in the method, a specific management operation is delivered to make the management of the server more flexible and effective.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for realizing presence service. By recording a correlation between a watcher identity and a class in an authentication configuration information of a presentity for a watcher and making presence information related to a corresponding class in the presence information issued by the presentity, a presence server determines that presence information may be obtained by the watcher according to a correlation between classes and watcher identities and presence information. The invention further discloses a system for realizing presence service, a presence information processing device and a presentity client.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a software download method and apparatus. The method includes: acquiring a fanout command and a replacement instruction delivered by a device management server, and replacing, according to the replacement instruction, a software identifier in the fanout command with a software local download address generated for software; delivering the converted fanout command to each terminal corresponding to the fanout command, so that each terminal downloads the software according to the software local download address. The present invention further provides another software download method and software download apparatus. In the embodiments, multiple terminals can be effectively prevented from retrieving data externally, and a local storage function provided by a device management gateway is used to directly acquire download data of the software from a local network of the device management gateway, thereby significantly improving the efficiency.

Abstract: A method for terminal configuration and management includes: acquiring a configuration file, where the configuration file includes server account information; configuring the server account information in the acquired configuration file onto a Device Management Tree (DMT) of a terminal; based on the server account information, establishing a management session between the terminal and the server, and performing management and subsequent configuration on the terminal during the session. A corresponding terminal device and a corresponding system are also provided. Through the method, the terminal can determine, according to protocol version information supported by or corresponding to the corresponding server and carried in a configuration packet, a protocol that should be used for communication with a server, and perform configuration according to the correct protocol version, thus improving the operation efficiency.

Abstract: An authentication method is disclosed herein. The method includes: by a server, using a Trigger message nonce to generate a Trigger message, and sending the generated Trigger message to a client so that the client can extract the Trigger message nonce; after determining that the Trigger message nonce is valid, using the Trigger message nonce to generate a digest, and authenticating the Trigger message generated by using the Trigger message nonce; after the authentication succeeds, sending a session request to the server indicated by the Trigger message, where the session request carries a session ID. The corresponding system, server and client are disclosed herein. The present invention makes the authentication process more secure through the client and the server based on the DS or DM protocol.

Abstract: The present invention provides methods for transmitting SyncML synchronization data. One is that the originator constructs a SyncML message after encrypting the user data to be transmitted and then transmits the data in an existing transmission way; the user data includes, but is not confined to, authentication information, terminal capability information and the data to be synchronized; the other method is that the originator encrypts the SyncML message in the transport layer before transmitting the message, and the recipient deciphers the received SyncML message from transport layer and processes the message subsequently. The two methods can be used either separately or together. If they are used together, the transmission of SyncML synchronization data is provided with double safety insurance. By using the present invention, user data can be transmitted safely without being intercepted by the third party.

Abstract: A method, a system, a server, and a terminal for processing message are described. The method includes the steps as follows. A notification message for requesting to establish a session sent by a session requester is received, in which the notification message carries session management information related to the session. The session management information of the session in the notification message is acquired, and a session connection with the session requester is initiated according to the session management information. Alternatively, the notification message is acknowledged according to the session management information, a reply message is generated according to an acknowledgement result, and the reply message is sent to the session requester.

Abstract: This invention relates to a method for publishing presence information, including: receiving, by a presence server, a message carrying presence information to be published sent from a delegated presentity client or application server; publishing the presence information in the message carrying presence information to be published according to delegation authorization rules upon determining that the presence information is published by delegation; sending the processed presence information to a watcher client. This invention also provides, a presence server and a presence information composing and publishing unit for publishing presence information. The invention makes it more flexible to publish presence information and enhances user' experience.
