Abstract: A method and system for reporting device capability update information, which allows a client to selectively update and report their capabilities, thereby reducing the traffic between the client and a server as well as alleviating the burden on the server. In the present invention, the mechanism of subscription/notification is added to the updating and reporting of device capabilities, and the server subscribes to only the client's capabilities related to the service provided the server. With the function of managing the subscription, a single client may accept subscriptions from a plurality of servers, with each server requesting one or more subscriptions. Once the service provided by the server has been changed, the server again initiates a subscription flow.

Abstract: A method for querying user information includes: A search proxy receives a query request containing query conditions sent from a client, and forwards a message of the query request to the XDM server in which the user information is stored. The search proxy receives the query result returned from the XDM server, and subscribes to the user URI presence information from the presence server. The user URI presence information is contained in the query result. The search proxy integrates the presence information returned from the presence server with the query result, and sends an integration result to the client. Thus, a user can obtain the user information when he/she obtains the user information in XDM.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for notifying presence information, a presence server, a client and a system. A watcher subscribes to presence information of the presentity via the presence server. The presence server receives the published message sent by the presentity client or application sever and judges whether the watcher has defined notification rules, if notification rules have been defined, the presence server processes the published message according to content-related process rules predefined by the watcher and presentity and the notification rules. If it is determined that the notification rules have not been defined, the presence server processes the published message according to content-related process rules predefined by the watcher and presentity. The presence server sends the processed published message to the watcher. The notification rules can be predefined in the presence XDMS or the presence server by the watcher, and also can be created in response to subscription.

Abstract: System and method for negotiating device information and device thereof are disclosed by the various embodiments of the present disclosure. The method includes the processes as follows: sending, by a network entity initiating a data synchronization process, a data synchronization initialization request carrying the identifier of the network entity initiating a data synchronization process to a destination network entity of the data synchronization process; accessing, by the destination network entity of the data synchronization process, the network entity for storing device information according to the identifier, acquiring the device information corresponding to the identifier according to the stored corresponding relation and the stored device information, and sending out a response to the network entity initiating the data synchronization process.

Abstract: An extensible markup language document management method includes: receiving a document recovery request from a user; and recovering a version of the document as required by a user from the current version of the document, in accordance with the change records for the document. An extensible markup language document management system includes: a rollback control module, adapted to recover a version of a document as required by a user from the current version of the document, in accordance with change records for the document, upon receiving a document recovery request from the user.

Abstract: A method, device, device management server and system for processing a scheduling task in device management are provided. The method includes: a device management server delivering a scheduling task; a device monitoring an execution condition of the scheduling task; the device reporting information on execution of the task; if the device does not execute the task normally according to the execution condition, the device management server delivering a task, and the device executing an operation according to the instruction; and the device reporting a task execution status. Thus, an effective mechanism for ensuring execution of the scheduling task is provided, so that the uncertainty in device management may be reduced, the flexibility of device management on the mobile phone may be increased, a scheduling demand from the user may be satisfied, and the quality of device management services may be improved.

Abstract: A method for subscribing for presence information, wherein: a delegated watcher client or an application server sends a subscription message of a watcher client to a presence server; when determining that the subscription message is a delegated subscription, the presence server processes the message according to delegation authorization rules; when determining that the subscription message is a non-delegated subscription, the presence server processes the message in non-delegated subscription mode; and the presence server saves the subscription relation obtained by processing the message. The present invention further provides a system for subscribing for presence information and a presence server. By employing the present invention, the subscription mode of the presence information may be made more flexible.

Abstract: An Extensible Markup Language (XML) document management method includes: receiving an XML document management operation request sent via an XCAP protocol, by an XML Document Management Server (XDMS); determining that the XML document management operation request is in an entrustment mode, and determining whether to perform an operation described in the XML document management operation request in accordance with access permission information corresponding to an XML document, by the XDMS.

Abstract: This invention discloses a method for synchronizing a plurality of devices, including: obtaining, by a first device, an extended address of an informational node of a plurality of informational nodes of a second device, the plurality of informational nodes arranged in a hierarchical tree structure; and utilizing the extended address to locate the informational node amongst the tree structure to enable synchronization of the informational node; wherein the extended address includes a hierarchical location of the informational node. This invention further discloses a system, client and server for data sync, and the folder-level data sync can be implemented by using the method of this invention.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for providing presence information, including: setting a validity period of the presence information; publishing, by a presentity client, the received presence information and the validity period to a presence server; and distributing the received presence information and the validity period to a watcher client by the presence server. Thus, the watcher client knows the validity period of the presence information, such as an end time of a current presence time, and thereby selects timely an appropriate time for communication with the presentity client. Furthermore, the present invention also provides a start time of the current presence information, and thus the watcher client knows a duration of the current presence information of the presentity client. The present invention further discloses a system for providing presence information.

Abstract: A method for detecting and resolving the data synchronization conflict is disclosed by the present invention, and the method includes the following processes. The client and the server detect a conflict in data synchronization; acquire a conflict resolution result according to conflict detection data; and synchronize conflicted data according to the conflict resolution result. The present invention also provides a client, a server and a system for detecting and resolving the data synchronization conflict. In the solution of the present invention, the conflict detection for the data to be synchronized is performed before the data synchronization between the client and the server, so the data which can be transmitted and the data which can not be transmitted are determined, then the synchronization time is shortened, and the flow of network traffic is reduced.

Abstract: This invention relates to a method for publishing presence information, including: receiving, by a presence server, a message carrying presence information to be published sent from a delegated presentity client or application server; publishing the presence information in the message carrying presence information to be published according to delegation authorization rules upon determining that the presence information is published by delegation; sending the processed presence information to a watcher client. This invention also provides, a presence server and a presence information composing and publishing unit for publishing presence information. The invention makes it more flexible to publish presence information and enhances user' experience.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for realizing presence service. By recording a correlation between a watcher identity and a class in an authentication configuration information of a presentity for a watcher and making presence information related to a corresponding class in the presence information issued by the presentity, a presence server determines that presence information may be obtained by the watcher according to a correlation between classes and watcher identities and presence information. The invention further discloses a system for realizing presence service, a presence information processing device and a presentity client.

Abstract: A method and a system for providing mobile service are disclosed. In the method, a management center server saves a group service subscription index; a service processing server receives a service message from a service application server, and sends a subscription verifying request containing the service ID and group ID to the management center server when it is resolved that the receiving party of the service message has a group ID; the management center server verifies whether the group has subscribed for the service according to the group service subscription index that is stored; and when the verification is passed, a service engine obtains the group user ID that pertains to the group ID and sends a service message to a user terminal. The invention further provides a management center server.

Abstract: A method for notifying presence information is disclosed. The method includes: setting, by a presentity, notification rules; when receiving the presence information sent from a presentity client or presentity application server, transferring, by a presence server, to a watcher client or watcher application server the presence information that is conformable to the notification rules as well as content related processing rules set by a watcher and the presentity. The present invention further discloses a system for notifying presence information, a presence server and a presence XDMS. Compared with the prior art, the present invention takes advantages of resources of a presence server more appropriately and enables the publication of presence information to be more rationalized and humanized. Thus a user may determine whether to receive the published information and what published information to receive according to the actual requirement.

Abstract: A method, a system, a document management server, a presence server and a delegation check processing unit for setting configuration information of a presentity client are used to solve the problem that the setting of configuration information must be done by a presentity client and cannot be delegated to other entities. The method for setting configuration information of a presentity client includes the processes of: determining a configuration request message sent from a configuration request sender is in delegation mode; confirming qualification of the configuration request sender according to delegation setting authorization rules set by the presentity client; and setting the configuration information of the presentity client according to the configuration request message.

Abstract: The present invention provides methods for transmitting SyncML synchronization data. One is that the originator constructs a SyncML message after encrypting the user data to be transmitted and then transmits the data in an existing transmission way; the user data includes, but is not confined to, authentication information, terminal capability information and the data to be synchronized; the other method is that the originator encrypts the SyncML message in the transport layer before transmitting the message, and the recipient deciphers the received SyncML message from transport layer and processes the message subsequently. The two methods can be used either separately or together. If they are used together, the transmission of SyncML synchronization data is provided with double safety insurance. By using the present invention, user data can be transmitted safely without being intercepted by the third party.

Abstract: A search proxy device, a communication system and a method for searching for information are disclosed. The search proxy receives an Extensible Markup Language (XML) document information search request from a client or a service enabler server, processes the XML document information search request, sends a search message to a XML Document Management (XDM) server storing XML documents, and returns a search result from the XDM server to the client or the service enabler server.

Abstract: The present invention discloses method, system and network server for recording use of network service capability by applications (APPs), and the key points of the methods comprise: a network server acquires an identity of the APP and type information of the network service capability providing services for the APP, conducts service logic processing, and writes a message of use of network service capability, which comprises at least the identity of the APP and the type information of the network service capability providing services for the APP. With the methods of this invention, the purpose of making effective records of use of network service capability by APPs provided by service providers is implemented. Furthermore, management of APPs, such as charging, may be conducted by utilizing the records.
