  • Patent number: 11320947
Abstract: The invention relates to a control and processing unit for a touch-sensitive screen and comprises a communication unit and a memory. The control and processing unit is configured for receiving first sensor data which is generated by way of capacitive sensors of the touch-sensitive screen, for receiving second sensor data which is transferred from an input unit to the control and processing unit, wherein the second sensor data comprises data of a sensor of the input unit, said sensor being designed to detect a putting-down of the input unit, and for examining, on the basis of a temporal sequence of the first and second sensor data, whether a putting-down of the input unit has been detected simultaneously with the placing of an object with a conductive structure onto the touch-sensitive screen, in order to ascertain whether the input unit has been put down on the touch-sensitive screen. The invention further relates to a system with such a control and processing unit, as well as to a method for use.

  • Patent number: 11036782
Abstract: Exemplary methods, apparatus, and systems are disclosed for capturing, organizing, sharing, and/or displaying media. For example, using embodiments of the disclosed technology, a unified playback and browsing experience for a collection of media can be created automatically. For instance, heuristics and metadata can be used to assemble and add narratives to the media data. Furthermore, this representation of media can recompose itself dynamically as more media is added to the collection. While a collection may use a single user's content, sometimes media that is desirable to include in the collection is captured by friends and/or others at the same event. In certain embodiments, media content related to the event can be automatically collected and shared among selected groups. Further, in some embodiments, new media can be automatically incorporated into a media collection associated with the event, and the playback experience dynamically updated.

  • Publication number: 20190249256
Abstract: The invention provides a method of determining the risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis in a subject comprising the steps of determining in a biological sample from said subject the number and/or frequency of dominant BCR clones, and determining the risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis based on said number of dominant BCR clones, wherein an increase of said number of dominant BCR clones and/or a higher frequency of at least one dominant BCR clone compared to a healthy control indicates an increased risk. In a preferred embodiment, said increased risk is indicated when at least 0.5% of the total number of BCR clones is a dominant BCR clone.

  • Patent number: 10255929
Abstract: Annotations can be automatically added to a media presentation during playback of the presentation without a user having to manually interact with the playback device. The playback device determines whether an annotation is to be added to the media presentation based on characteristics of voice input received at the device, such as voice input signal strength or variances in the voice input signal strength. Characteristics of video input received at the device can be used to determine whether a user is speaking to the computing device as well. The device can handle a new annotation overlapping an existing annotation by either removing the existing annotation or by shifting the existing annotation until there is no more overlap. A media presentation can comprise multiple annotation tracks.
