  • Patent number: 9787420
Abstract: Example embodiments presented herein are directed towards methods for handling uplink-to-downlink interference between a first UE served by a first BS and a second UE served by a second BS, the first BS and the second BS being with full-duplex mode. According to the methods, the first BS receives from the first UE information about a first received signal quality associated with the first BS and a second received signal quality associated with the second BS. The first BS generates a full-duplex interference list associated with the second BS by putting the first UE into the full-duplex interference list if a difference between the first received signal quality and the second received signal quality is smaller than a threshold. Example embodiments are also towards methods for scheduling downlink reception and methods for scheduling uplink transmission.

  • Publication number: 20160247523
Abstract: Annotations can be automatically added to a media presentation during playback of the presentation without a user having to manually interact with the playback device. The playback device determines whether an annotation is to be added to the media presentation based on characteristics of voice input received at the device, such as voice input signal strength or variances in the voice input signal strength. Characteristics of video input received at the device can be used to determine whether a user is speaking to the computing device as well. The device can handle a new annotation overlapping an existing annotation by either removing the existing annotation or by shifting the existing annotation until there is no more overlap. A media presentation can comprise multiple annotation tracks.

  • Patent number: 9280545
Abstract: Exemplary methods, apparatus, and systems are disclosed for capturing, organizing, sharing, and/or displaying media. For example, using embodiments of the disclosed technology, a unified playback and browsing experience for a collection of media can be created automatically. For instance, heuristics and metadata can be used to assemble and add narratives to the media data. Furthermore, this representation of media can recompose itself dynamically as more media is added to the collection. While a collection may use a single user's content, sometimes media that is desirable to include in the collection is captured by friends and/or others at the same event. In certain embodiments, media content related to the event can be automatically collected and shared among selected groups. Further, in some embodiments, new media can be automatically incorporated into a media collection associated with the event, and the playback experience dynamically updated.

  • Patent number: 9104461
Abstract: A system for migrating services including a primary virtual environment (VE) with a service manager and a VE manager, and a secondary VE, where both VEs execute a plurality of services, a set of physical hardware, and a hypervisor including a service module for storing extended service attributes for each service. The hypervisor manages migration one of the plurality of services executing on a source VE, obtain hardware requirements of the source VE, obtain extended service attributes associated with the one of the plurality of services to be migrated, and select a target VE for migration of the service. The target VE is selected based on the source VE data and the extended service attributes of the one service. The hypervisor migrates the one service by configuring the target VE and installing the service on the target VE using install scripts that execute on the target VE.
