  • Publication number: 20040065949
Abstract: A flip chip interconnect structure is formed on a bump pad of a chip, and includes an under bump metallurgy (UBM) formed on the bump pad, and a solder bump formed on the UBM. The solder bump includes tin and is further doped with metallic particles that are capable of reacting with tin in the solder bump to from an inter-metallic compound due to a thermal effect produced in use of a later fabrication process or an operation on the chip. Furthermore, the material of the metal particles is selected from a group consisting of copper, silver and nickel.

  • Patent number: 6527656
Abstract: A two-piece grommet assembly for a sports racquet. The sports racquet includes a frame having a plurality of grommet holes and at least one racquet string. The grommet assembly includes first and second grommet members. The first grommet member includes a first strip and at least two spaced-apart barrels extending generally perpendicular from the first strip. Each barrel includes a first string hole and is configured to extend through a separate grommet hole in the frame. The second grommet member includes a second strip and at least two spaced-apart pegs extending generally perpendicular from the second strip. Each peg has a second string hole. The second strip contacts the first strip, and the pegs extend into the barrels such that the first and second string holes are generally co-axially aligned. • Patent number: 6383099
Abstract: A tennis racquet is provided with increased resistance against twisting of the racquet frame by increasing the width of the frame just above the area where the yoke and Y-shaped arms of the throat merge with the U-shaped upper portion of the head. The width of the frame in that area is preferably at least 0.600 inch, and more preferably about 0.640 inch. The ratio of the width and the height is about 0.54. The increased resistance to twisting permits the frame to be wider, thereby increasing the maximum width of the strings, reducing the difference between the maximum string width and maximum string length, and increasing the polar moment of inertia of the racquet.
