Publication number: 20240151092Abstract: A vehicle includes a cabin interior, a powered door having an actuator for moving the door between closed and open positions, interior sensors sensing position or movement of an occupant in the cabin interior, and exterior sensors sensing a passerby proximate to the vehicle. The vehicle includes a controller determining an occupant intending to exit the vehicle via the door based on the interior sensors and determining a passerby passing by the door in an open position using the at least one exterior sensors. The controller controls the actuator to open the door when the occupant is intended to exit the vehicle and at least partially closes the door when a passerby is detected passing by the vehicle door and an occupant is determined not to be exiting the vehicle. The controller controls the actuator to open the door further when the passerby is determined to pass by the door.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 3, 2022Publication date: May 9, 2024Applicant: Ford Global Technologies, LLCInventors: Brendan Diamond, Keith Weston, Stuart C. Publication number: 20240074685Abstract: The present disclosure discloses systems and methods for measuring the bladder volume of a patient. An ultrasound transducer array may be used to transmit electrical pulses and receive the backscattered pulses that can be analyzed to develop a representation of the patients bladder. The backscattered ultrasound signals may be amplified, converted, and processed by circuitry and computer software to develop an axial position of the anterior and posterior bladder walls. Bladder volume measurements derived from the patients bladder may then be wirelessly transmitted to a display device for assessment by a healthcare provider. The ultrasound transducer array portion of the device may be held in place between the patients peritoneum and pubis by an elastic strap or a belt to ensure proper positioning.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 2, 2022Publication date: March 7, 2024Inventors: Gregory Robert Thoreson, Kenneth Hoyt, Katherine G. Publication number: 20240070647Abstract: The disclosure herein relates to methods and systems of that facilitate instant payment of invoices based on automatic, intelligent, predictions that a buyer will approve an invoice without express input by the buyer. For example, a system may determine a probability that an invoice will be approved for payment by a buyer with express approval from the buyer. Once an invoice is automatically approved for payment, the system may employ various automated systems to facilitate payment to suppliers without the need for suppliers to extract virtual card data or other payment information from email payment requests or other invoice payment requirements to receive payment. For example, the system may generate calls to automatically generate virtual card numbers on behalf of buyers and submit payment messages for payments to suppliers using the virtual card numbers.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 19, 2023Publication date: February 29, 2024Applicant: MASTERCARD INTERNATIONAL INCORPORATEDInventors: Anthony DEBELLIS, Shlomo Akiva MAYER, Aazum SHAIKH, Travis BROWN, Kelvin LEUNG, Robert PACIFICO
