  • Patent number: 11675552
Abstract: A printing system that operates responsive to data bearing records enables providers of printable content records to have printed copies of the content records produced and delivered to designated record recipients. Central system circuitry (22) is in operative connection with at least one data store (24), and includes record data corresponding to the content records and records regarding printing operations, the locations thereof and other record data. The central system circuitry operates to cause printed copies of the content records produced by respective printing operations located in geographic proximity to respective record recipients. The exemplary system further enables a content record provider to operate the system to host content records so that printed copies of the records may be obtained by record requesters located in widely dispersed geographic locations.

  • Publication number: 20230126307
Abstract: A system includes a first fixture to support one side of a part and a robot that has a second fixture to support an opposite side of the part with respect to the one side. One of the part sides has a target on a surface that indicates a location for the operation. The system has a sensor to measure the target in 3-dimensional space. A tool performs the operation at the location, and a controller moves the robot to pick up the part from the first fixture using the second fixture. The controller presents the target to the sensor for measuring the x,y,z coordinates and the yaw, pitch and roll of the target. The controller moves the second fixture with the part to the tool based upon the measurement.

  • Patent number: 11592200
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide a thermal model based on an adaptive filter bank for characterizing heat transfer of a volume of a thermal system. In one embodiment, the adaptive filter bank is used for diagnostics that provides information related to the condition of a thermal system. The diagnostics are based on an analysis of heat transfer characteristics of a dynamic representation of the thermal system. In accordance with the embodiments, thermal coefficients are generated based on an adaptive filter bank. One or more filters are applied to the thermal coefficients based on a sampling rate and one or more estimate thermal coefficient thresholds are generated based on the sampling rate. It is determined whether at least one of the thermal coefficients that is filtered satisfies at least one of the estimated thermal coefficient thresholds. Thereupon, alert information indicative of a diagnostic event is provided based on the determination.

  • Publication number: 20220391993
Abstract: A method and system teaches unique applications of logic and statistics to medical processes to obtain substantially improved accuracy in the measurement of a examinee's pathology due to an injury. The method and the system incorporate strict protocols, or “Administrative Rule Sets” to direct the examination for the purpose of obtaining an optimal data set, from which a rating of the impairment due to the pathology resulting from an injury may be determined. Additionally, within this method and system, a statistical analysis may additionally assist in obtaining an improved accuracy of impairment ratings. Consequently, the errors in the impairment rating presently carried forward through the disability, care and compensation phases of the process are now avoided.

  • Publication number: 20220390313
Abstract: Methods and systems for detecting container leakage using thermal imaging, for example, infrared imaging, are disclosed. A method may include a step of sensing thermal radiation emanating from a scene encompassing a liquid-holding container. For example, the container may be an intravenous fluid bag. The method may also include a step of generating a thermal image of the scene based on the sensed thermal radiation and a step of analyzing the thermal image by assessing whether the thermal image includes a thermal feature indicative of the presence of leaked liquid outside the container to determine whether a leak exists in the container. In some embodiments, the container may be enclosed in an overwrap. In such a case, the assessed thermal feature may be indicative of liquid being present in an interstitial volume defined between the container and the overwrap.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems for passenger authentication and entry for autonomous vehicles are disclosed. A vehicle receives information over a first communication channel from a first mobile device. The information specifies a geographical location. The information causes the vehicle to arrive at the geographical location. The vehicle transmits a first message to a second mobile device indicating that the vehicle has arrived at the geographical location. The first message includes a graphical icon representing the vehicle. The graphical icon is for display on a user interface of the second mobile device. The vehicle receives a second message from the second mobile device over a second communication channel. The second message indicates that the graphical icon was dragged across the user interface into a graphical receptacle displayed on the user interface. Responsive to receiving the second message, at least one door of the vehicle is unlocked.

  • Publication number: 20220308048
Abstract: Early stage, rapid, low-cost detection of disease components in a biological sample is critically important. A point of care device can include a collection region and can be used to hold a sample that is combined with a fluorescent dye and a plurality of magnetic particles such that disease components in the sample are tagged with the fluorescent dye and the plurality of magnetic particles. At least one magnet can be located next to the collection region to establish a magnetic field gradient to draw the tagged disease components into the collection region from the device. A fluorescence microscope can image the small collection region based on the fluorescent dye to detect the disease components. The fluorescence microscope uses light to excite the fluorescent dye and a filter to transmit light emitted by the fluorescent dye to the fluorescence microscope, while restricting light used to excite the fluorescent dye.

  • Publication number: 20220299475
Abstract: A diagnostic device is described herein that can be used to perform magneto-optical detection and discernment of crystals within a biofluid sample. A magnetic field can be applied by the diagnostic device in a direction relative to light traveling through the sample. The presence of a crystal can be determined based on the magneto-optical properties of the sample. The detected crystal can be one of two similar crystal types that may be in the biofluid sample. The two similar crystal types can exhibit different magneto-optical properties under a magnetic field in a different direction. Accordingly, the type of crystal can be discerned by applying the magnetic field in the different direction as light travels through the sample. Discernment of the type of crystal can lead to diagnosis of the particular disease condition and subsequent proper treatment of the disease condition.
