    Abstract: A storage layer may over-provision physical storage resources of a storage medium by reserving a portion of the full physical storage capacity of the storage medium for use as reserve capacity. The reserve capacity may be used to prevent write stall conditions and/or for grooming operations, such as storage recovery, refresh, and the like. A reserve module may be configured to adapt the reserve capacity in accordance with, inter alia, operating conditions on the storage layer. The reserve module may be configured to dynamically modify the storage capacity available through the storage layer. A cache layer configured to cache data of a backing store on the storage layer, may be configured to add and/or remove cache entries in response to changes in the reserve capacity.

The small size of the recall device makes it possible to integrate it into common portable consumer products, such as MP3 players, purses, clothing, hats, backpacks, necklaces, collars, and other human-wearable products.

The electric motor is used to move a sanding head. The sanding head has a flat surface designed to retain a flat piece of sandpaper thereon. The flat surface of the sanding head exists in a first plane. The first plane remains constant as the edge sander is in operation and the sanding head is moved by the electric motor. Wheels are mounted to the casing for supporting the casing during the operation of the edge sander. The wheels are oriented to rotate in a plane that is parallel to the flat surface of the sanding head.

    Abstract: Devices and methods are generally provided for indicating the location of a most recent strike on a face of a golf club. One exemplary embodiment of an impact indication device can include a patch that can be attached to the face of a golf club and can display the impact location of a most recent strike without displaying impact locations of previous strikes. The impact locations of previous strikes can be removed from the patch without the user having to do anything more than take another swing. In some embodiments, the device includes a yield-stress material that assist in displaying impact a most recent impact location without displaying previous impact locations. Other features that can allow patches to work in this fashion, as well as methods related to the same, are also provided.
