    Abstract: A claw-pole stepping motor with rotor, including a vibration reducing magnet. Vibration in the axial direction is suppressed by having a correction force, which overcomes a force produced by a vertical motion caused when the rotor is pulse-driven, and keeps the rotor attracted to one side. The corrective force is generated between an index generating magnetized portion in a lower area of the rotor and a soft magnetic material base. Magnetic flux leakage produced by the excitation of the stator coils of the motor is suppressed by providing a shield ring made of a magnetic material on an inner side of the rotor magnet, which minimizes the magnetic flux flowing from the coils to the revolving shaft, and noises on the recording and reproducing head are thereby greatly reduced.

The receiving space 5 has an opening 6 through which part of the slide lock member 15 is exposed to the exterior.     Abstract: A lever-type connector is provided. A connector housing is provided with support axes. A stopper is formed on the tip of each support axis. Axis holes 4 for receiving the support axes are formed on a lever for connector engagement. The lever is rotatably supported by the connector housing. A stopper is formed by bending and protruding the tip portion of each support axis in one direction. The stopper is bent or protrudes in a direction opposite to the moving direction of the lever. A guide surface for each axis hole is formed on the opposite side of the bent or protruding portion of each stopper. Thus, the support axes of the connector housing and the axis holes of the connector engaging lever can be simplified.

A fuse structure is formed by a fusible portion I serving in a dead short-circuit, and a fusible portion II serving in a rare short-circuit area coupled in series with the fusible portion I serving in a dead short-circuit area. The fusible portion II serving in a rare short-circuit area is formed by material which is different in conductivity and melting point from those of material forming the fusible portion I serving in a dead short-circuit area.

    Abstract: A fuse comprising: a fusible portion constituted by a connection portion which is formed of the same metal base material as a pair of terminals so as to connect the pain of terminals to each other, and a low-melting metal having a melting point lower than that of the connection portion and stacked by welding on at least a portion of the connection portion; and at least one protrusion formed on the fusible portion by making the connection portion and the low-melting metal project in a direction parallel to the plane of an interface between the connection portion and the low-melting metal. Further disclosed is a method of manufacturing the fuse. The fuse can be manufactured with a simple manufacturing process in comparison with a conventional method, and in the fuse, only the fusing-off time in a layer short-circuit range can be shortened by use of diffusion between the low-melting metal and base material.

    Abstract: A fan speed controller of an automotive vehicle air conditioning device is usually placed in an air flow duct to be effectively cooled. Thus, compact construction of the speed controller is needed to obtain a larger air flow in the air flow duct. For this purpose, various compact resistor units for the speed controller have been proposed. However, some of them are poor in durability against shocks. In view of this, a compact resistor unit for a speed controller includes a resistor block that has a flat resistor, a flat insulating plate and a flat radiation plate which are respectively positioned against one another. The compact resistor unit further includes a holder block of molded plastic on which the resistor block is mounted. The compact resistor unit also includes a plurality of metal terminals partially embedded in the holder block, where the terminals are connected to particular portions of the flat resistor.
