  • Patent number: 11979193
Abstract: A method of modulating an optical camera communication (OCC) signal by an OCC transmission node in an OCC system includes acquiring a binary data signal, grouping the binary data signal for every k bits to convert the binary data signal into a global phase shift signal having an integer value from 0 to M?1 (=2k?1), generating a data signal group by mapping the global phase shift signal to first to Mth mapping sequences in the form of an n*M/2-bit sequence based on a preset symbol group mapping table, generating a pulse wave signal by modulating the data signal group, and blinking each of a plurality of light sources included in the OCC transmission node according to the pulse wave signal. Accordingly, performance of the communication system may be improved.

  • Patent number: 11838169
Abstract: A radio access network includes first and second hardware systems. The first hardware system instantiates a radio unit (RU) controller of the radio access network. The second hardware system instantiates a RU of the radio access network. The RU includes a plurality of data modules, each configured to provide a logging function for the RU. The RU controller provides a list of access control groups (ACGs) to the RU, each ACG associating an operator on the radio access network with at least one of the data modules. The RU arranges the data modules into logging modules, each logging module associated with a particular ACG, the RU being configured to restrict access to the data modules based upon the logging modules.

  • Patent number: 11827934
Abstract: Compositions, methods and systems are provided for isolating nucleic acids. A polymerase-nucleic acid complex can be formed by mixing a polymerase enzyme comprising strand displacement activity and a mixture of double stranded nucleic acids. Nucleic acid synthesis can then be initiated by the polymerase enzyme to produce a nascent strand complementary to the first strand, thereby displacing a portion of the second strand. After halting or reducing the rate of nucleic acid synthesis, a hybridizing a hook oligonucleotide can be used hybridize to the nucleic acid through a capture region on the hook oligonucleotide that is complementary to the displaced portion of the second strand. The nucleic acid can then be isolated from the mixture of nucleic acids using the hook oligonucleotide.

  • Patent number: 11432125
Abstract: Systems, methods, and software for handling random access procedures. In one embodiment, an access network element that stores an MTC reservation pattern that defines at least one MTC-On interval where MTC is allowed, and defines at least one MTC-Off interval where MTC is prohibited. During an MTC-On interval, the access network element receives preambles for random access procedures from MTC devices, and performs the random access procedures for the MTC devices in response to the preambles. The access network element detects a transition from the MTC-On interval to a next MTC-Off interval, and determines whether the random access procedures for the MTC devices will complete before the transition. If not, the access network element modifies the MTC reservation pattern to expedite completion of the random access procedures.

  • Patent number: 10934585
Abstract: Compositions, methods and systems are provided for the loading of extended polymerase-nucleic acid complexes onto substrates. Primed polymerase-template complex comprising a polymerase enzyme and a circular nucleic acid template comprising a double stranded region connected at each end by a single-stranded hairpin region are provides in which the circular nucleic acid template comprises at least one reversible pause point. Nucleic acid synthesis is carried out such that a nascent strand is synthesized up to the reversible stop point producing an extended polymerase-template complex. The extended polymerase-template complex is then attached to a substrate. Such attached complexes can be used for single molecule sequencing in which the nucleic acid synthesis is re-initiated such that nucleic acid synthesis continues past the reversible stop point.
