  • Publication number: 20070233380
Abstract: A navigation device includes a position detector, a controller, a display portion, an imaging portion and an image processor. The imaging portion images a forward view in front of the vehicle as a forward image from a predetermined distance before a guidance point. The image processor extracts and analyzes visual information of an on-road object from the forward image. The controller specifies a position of the on-road object based on the visual information and map information. The display portion displays and highlights an image of the on-road object at a true position in a road map image, when the position of the on-road object corresponds to the guidance point.

  • Patent number: 7170509
Abstract: A hard disk stores a CAD file having 3-D data that relates to an assembly product comprised of a plurality of parts. Based on this 3-D data of an assembly product, a parts data retriever retrieves 3-D data for each part. According to this 3-D data for each part, a bitmap output unit generates 2-D bitmap image data illustrating the part image, which is viewed from a predetermined direction. Moreover, using the 2-D data of the part, a management data generator generates a management table describing steps to output an assembly scene on a screen. A file having this management table and a file having 2-D data are then delivered to a PC for assembly scene output, in order to output the assembly scene.

  • Publication number: 20060226366
Abstract: An infrared detector having pixels which convert the infrared ray into an electric signal and are arranged to form a matrix. An infrared detecting unit is placed in a vessel having a shielding member for preventing the incident infrared radiated from the target object from being inputted to reference pixels. Only the infrared ray radiated from the shielding member is inputted to the reference pixels. The amount of infrared ray received by the reference pixels is supposed to equal the amount of infrared ray radiated from the inner wall of the vessel. The pixels other than the reference pixels receive the infrared ray both from the target object and the inner wall of the vessel. The circuit for reading out the electric signal generated by the pixels reads out the electric signal from the pixels using the electric signal from the reference pixels as a reference point.

  • Patent number: 7027718
Abstract: A packet recording/reproducing system is provided which records or reproduces packets on or from tracks formed in time sequence on a magnetic tape. In a recording operation, the packet recording/reproducing system adds to input packets time stamps whose values are synchronous with packet arrival time control clocks produced by the system. The timing with which the packets are recorded on the magnetic tape is controlled by the arrival time control clocks so that a given number of the packets inputted at high data rate are recorded within a one-track area, a two-track area, or a one-track over area defined across at least two of the tracks, thereby minimizing the loss of capacity of the magnetic tape.

  • Patent number: 7006357
Abstract: A shielding case for an electronic apparatus is provided. The shielding case houses a printed circuit board on which an electronic component and an output connector are mounted. The shielding case defines a recessed portion by its case wall. The recessed portion is provided with an opening located in a lateral direction from the mounting position of the output connector. The recessed portion is provided with an opening located in an upward direction from the mounting position of the output connector. The shielding case allows insertion of a cable either from above or sideways relative to the connector. Further, an aperture is provided in the case wall. The aperture is at a position that faces a side surface of the output connector when the connector is in the mounting position. It becomes possible to selectively employ one of a horizontal-insertion type output connector and a vertical-insertion type output connector.

  • Publication number: 20050280495
Abstract: A fuse-data reading circuit is provided in a semiconductor integrated circuit device. In the fused-data reading circuit, a differential latch circuit compares a current depending on the resistance across a first fuse element, i.e., target element, with a current depending on the resistance of a series circuit including a second fuse element used as a reference fuse element and a resistor element. The differential latch circuit determines whether the first fuse element has been cut or not.
