  • Patent number: 6810231
Abstract: A sheet transfer apparatus transfers a sheet to a predetermined position. The apparatus includes a discharge tray; a support device for rotationally supporting the discharge tray; an interconnecting device that activates according to a rotation of the discharge tray; and a sheet regulating device engaging the interconnecting means to be movable between a regulating position for regulating a movement of the sheet and a retracted position for allowing the sheets on the discharge tray to move. A control device prevents the sheet regulating device from moving to the regulating position from the retracted position even though the discharge tray is rotated when a load greater than a predetermined value is applied to the sheet regulating device.

  • Patent number: 6784127
Abstract: A polyurethane elastomer fiber non-woven fabric contains polyurethane elastomer fiber filaments melt-bonded with one another, and has a tensile elongation of 100% or more, a 50% elongation recovery of 75% or more and a tear strength per METSUKE of 5.5 gf or more. The non-woven fabric can be prepared by a method of providing a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer having Shore hardness A of 92 or more, drying the elastomer to a water content of 150 ppm or less, and melt-spinning and, at the same time, spraying it together with a high speed gas stream so as to deposit and laminate the elastomer into a sheet form. A synthetic leather using the non-woven fabric is also provided. The non-woven fabric has not only an excellent elasticity but also high tear strength.

  • Patent number: 6784125
Abstract: The invention provides a thermoplastic elastomer nonwoven fabric roll that exhibits minimal longitudinal wrinkles and minimal delayed restoration when unrolled, and method and apparatus for producing the same. Thermoplastic elastomer filaments that have been melt-spun are piled on a belt conveyor thereby forming a sheet of nonwoven fabric, that is guided to a rotating roller disposed above the transportation zone of the belt conveyor and peeled off therefrom. Since minimal tension is applied to the nonwoven fabric during processing, the nonwoven fabric can be unrolled with little stretching by applying relatively little tension to the nonwoven fabric. By the method of this invention, a nonwoven fabric roll with unrolling tension of 0.25 g/cm/basis-weight or less can be formed.

  • Publication number: 20030197700
Abstract: A hard disk stores a CAD file having 3-D data that relates to an assembly product comprised of a plurality of parts. Based on this 3-D data of an assembly product, a parts data retriever retrieves 3-D data for each part. According to this 3-D data for each part, a bitmap output unit generates 2-D bitmap image data illustrating the part image, which is viewed from a predetermined direction. Moreover, using the 2-D data of the part, a management data generator generates a management table describing steps to output an assembly scene on a screen. A file having this management table and a file having 2-D data are then delivered to a PC for assembly scene output, in order to output the assembly scene.

  • Patent number: 6621884
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of monitoring the neutron sensitivity of a neutron detector. Voltage having a predetermined potential difference is applied between an anode and a cathode without irradiating the neutron detector with neutrons to permit an &agr;-ray to be emitted from the nuclear fission substance. The &agr;-ray ionizes the ionizing gas to form an &agr;-ray current (I&agr;) flowing between the anode and the cathode. The current (I&agr;) thus formed is monitored. Also, with the monitoring region in which the applied voltage and the &agr;-ray current (I&agr;) bear a substantially proportional relationship, obtained is an extrapolated zero-volt &agr;-ray current (I&agr;0) at 0V of the applied voltage between the anode and the cathode from the proportional relationship by an extrapolating method, and the extrapolated zero-volt &agr;-ray current (I&agr;0) is correlated with the neutron sensitivity.

  • Publication number: 20030128534
Abstract: The position of a connector 36 in the forward direction (Ya direction) is determined by having front end surfaces 36f1, 36g1 of protrusions 36f, 36g of the connector that protrude from the left side surface and the right side surface of the connector, respectively, contacting vertical wall portions 72a1, 74a1 of positioning concave portions 72a, 74a of supporting plates 72, 74 of a housing of the shield case. The position of the connector in the backward direction (Yb direction) is determined by having a back surface 36h of the connector 36 contacting a protrusion 70a of a dividing plate 70. The motion of the connector in the right-and-left directions (Xa-Xb directions) is controlled by having the left side surface and the right side surface of the connector facing the supporting plates, respectively, in close proximity.

  • Publication number: 20030128535
Abstract: A shielding case for an electronic apparatus is provided. The shielding case houses a printed circuit board on which an electronic component and an output connector are mounted. The shielding case defines a recessed portion by its case wall. The recessed portion is provided with an opening located in a lateral direction from the mounting position of the output connector. The recessed portion is provided with an opening located in an upward direction from the mounting position of the output connector. The shielding case allows insertion of a cable either from above or sideways relative to the connector. Further, an aperture is provided in the case wall. The. aperture is at a position that faces a side surface of the output connector when the-connector is in the mounting position. It becomes possible to selectively employ one of a horizontal-insertion type output connector and a vertical-insertion type output connector.
