Abstract: A portable ironing board having a two-way swivel bracket assembly. The ironing board may be affixed to a dryer and stored in the space between a washing machine and dryer and is attached to the dryer by means of an attachment assembly. The attachment assembly allows secure affixing of the entire ironing board assembly to the top, side and bottom of the dryer. The ironing board additionally has a swivel assembly which allows the ironing board to be rotated about a first and a second axis. The first rotation allows the ironing board to be swiveled from a vertical stored position in which the ironing board is directed downwards to a vertical position wherein the ironing board extends outward toward the front of the dryer. The second rotation ability allows the ironing board to be swiveled about such that the ironing board rests upon the top of the dryer.

Abstract: An audible product information tag comprised of a pair of panels folded one over the other along a fold line. An electronic program circuit is located in a housing secured to an inner face of one of the panels. A switch actuator is connected at one end to an inner face of the other of the panels and has a switch contact operating connection at an opposed end to enable and disable the electronic programmed circuit. A speaker is connected to the programmed circuit for transmitting an audible message when a switch contact is enabled by the switch actuator upon displacement of the other of the panels a predetermined distance away from the other panel towards an open position. A detachable connection is provided to maintain the panels folded one over the other to a closed position with the switch contact disabled.

Abstract: A garment hanger with hook adapted to receive a size tab. A portion of the hook includes a formed region or tab receiving web preferably with an opening, and adapted to hold a foldable size tab thereon. The tab receiving web may be formed to protect the edges of the tab thereon. The foldable size tab includes first and second arms which are joined by a living hinge arrangement, preferably molded integrally, which allows the size tab to be molded flat and then folded on the web of the garment hanger to allow attachment of the size tab to the web. The size tab may be formed with three panels joined by a pair of living hinges to provide three viewing surfaces for the sizing indicia or other information.

Abstract: A novelty lamp which comprises a transparent container with a top surface, a bottom surface, an outer portion, and an inner portion. The inner portion extends upwardly from the bottom surface of the container and defines a hollow area. The bottom surface of the container is mounted in a base member. Two substances are received in the container. One of the substances has a higher relative density at room temperature and is immiscible with the other substance. Upon application of heat, which is supplied by a light bulb mounted within the base member, globules of the substance with the initially higher relative density become less dense, rise in the other substance and flow around the outer and inner portions of the container. As the globules rise toward the top surface of the container they cool, become more dense and drop back down toward the bottom surface of the container.

Abstract: A changeable sign comprises an enclosed outer housing and inner changeable number display areas. The number display areas are comprised of vertically spaced sections, each including a plurality of rotatable horizontal flaps. The flaps are rotated by motors which may be controlled on-site or remotely using telephone, pager or radio remote controllers. Different arrangements of number displays may be provided to display the time, temperature, single digit numbers, multiple digit numbers and decimals as well as other characters. The sign has a compact construction and is weather resistant.

Abstract: A view-changing display is made from one generally rectangular sheet of resilient planar material having a first side and a second side. At least one viewing window, graspable tab and slot through which the tab may slide are formed in the sheet, preferably by die cutting. The sheet is divided into a front panel, at least one sliding panel ending with a graspable tab, a biasing element preferably comprised of a resilient panel disposed between the front panel and each sliding panel, and an optional back panel preferably extending from the front panel opposite the biasing element. The second side of the sliding panel is folded to face the second side of the biasing element. The second side of the front panel is then folded to face the first side of the sliding panel and to mate the tab and slot. The second side of the optional back panel may be folded to face the first side of the biasing element. The display view is changed by pulling the tab which bows the biasing element and displaces the sliding panel.

Abstract: An interlocking display panel assembly comprises a pair of end elements for attachment to a supporting surface, at least one intermediate element having an indicia displaying surface locatable in an interlocking relationship between the end elements to form an integral planar assembly, illumination devices in the intermediate elements. Each element interlocks with an adjacent element by means of a tongue-and-groove arrangement, male and female portions of the tongue-and-groove arrangements on opposite sides of the intermediate elements being arranged in a complementary manner so that as many intermediate elements can be fitted together in a row as desired. Respective contacts are provided on opposing surfaces of adjacent interlocking elements so as to transfer electrical power between adjacent elements. One of the end elements includes a device for providing power to the assembly.

Abstract: An image display unit includes a sheet-like image carrier, the carrier having at least one edge, the carrier being bendable. The image display unit also includes a coupling device, the coupling device including at least a first and a second part, the first part of the coupling device being disposed proximate the at least one edge of the carrier and the second part of the coupling device being attached to the carrier at a distance from the at least one edge, the first and second parts of the coupling device defining a first carrier section, the first and second parts of the coupling device each being vertically-oriented strips and having first and second coupling structures, respectively, the first and second coupling structures being engageable with each other. The carrier has a second carrier section.

Abstract: The apparatus has an inflatable member attached to top and bottom members. A flexible sleeve shaped display wall is attached to the top and bottom members and surrounds the inflatable member. The display sleeve has hook and loop fasteners on its outside. Flexible strips of material are attached to the top and bottom members to limit stretching of the inflatable member between the top and bottom members when inflated to prevent the display wall from being damaged when the inflatable member is inflated.

Abstract: A sign device having a rear plate and a front plate. The rear plate has a first connecting part, and the front plate has a second connecting part. The connecting parts are engageable to connect the rear and front plates. One of the two connecting parts is provided on one end of a rocker member having a partially elastic area at the other end. The two connecting members may be disengaged by acting on the elastic area. The connecting parts may also serve as hinges.

Abstract: The new stretchable marking article permits simultaneous banding and tagging of merchandise and has an elastomeric band for banding about merchandise and a tag comprised of an information portion for displaying printed matter and an attachment portion for bonding to the information portion after encircling a section of the elastomeric band to form a channel for stretching movement of the band. The tag is formed of plastic sheet material and the channel for stretching movement of the band has a length less than the width of the information portion. A composite article of manufacture comprises a plurality of the stretchable marking articles on a carrier, with all information portions of the stretchable marking article in an alignment for easy hand removal of discrete marking articles from the alignment.

Abstract: There is disclosed a sun catcher formed of a light transmitting panel one surface of which is provided with an outline of a pictorial display formed by slightly raised ridges and the opposite surface of which is provided with a detailed etching in registry with the pictorial display of the opposite surface. The ridges facilitate the deposition of a coloring medium such as a lightly transmitting paint to produce the desired coloring of the detailed etching upon the transmission of light through the coloring medium.

Abstract: A trigger safety device for a firearm having a trigger pivotal within a trigger guard on the firearm is formed by an integral end, side wall and bight portion body forming a socket substantially enveloping the trigger guard and including J-shaped hook means engaging the trigger guard and supported by the side walls with an axial compression spring biasing the hook means into engagement with the trigger guard.

Abstract: The invention relates to a firing pin and hammer assembly for a fire arm, especially a self-loading fire arm with a closed breech of a submachine gun, the assembly comprising a firing pin capable of being moved from a rest position at which its end is positioned in the travel path of a hammer, to a priming position; a firing pin spring for moving the firing pin into its rest position; a catch (14) capable of being moved by a catch spring engaging the firing pin while the firing pin is in its rest position, and holding the same; and a release assembly cooperating with the hammer and releasing the catch from engagement with the firing pin when the hammer approaches the end of its travel path. The object is to prevent any movement of the firing pin unless the hammer is released. According to the invention, the release assembly is permanently coupled to the hammer for preventing an untimely and excessively forceful operation of the release assembly.

Abstract: A folding stock is provided for a pistol. The stock is particularly suited for automatic pistols which may employ extended magazines. The stock includes a first end which mates with the hollow located in the rear portion of the grip of the pistol. A first stock element is attached to the first end. A second stock element is pivotally attached to the first stock element. The attachment includes a spring mounted push-button element. The push-button element, when depressed, permits rotation of the stock from a folded to an unfolded position and visa versa. The pivotal attachment is securable in a folded first position and an unfolded second position. The folded position brings the first stock element into a substantially parallel and proximal arrangement with the second stock element. The securing mechanism is engaged and disengaged by the push-button located on the right side of the intersection of the first stock element and the second stock element.

Abstract: The invention is of an adjustable and portable gun support which is useful primarily for supporting and accurately sighting high powered rifles. The gun support includes a support cradle for a user's trigger arm forearm, as well as for the barrel of the gun being used. All features of the gun support are adjustable whereby the relative positions and orientations of a user and the gun may be adjusted to virtually any desired configuration.

Abstract: A protective cover for a long-barreled firearm having a stock with opposed sides. The cover includes a thin, vinyl sheet bearing a camouflage design and having a shape corresponding to that of one side of the stock. A backing of light-tack, adhesive material is preferably applied to the undersurface of the vinyl sheet to permit such to be selectively positioned on the stock.

Abstract: Tuna are separated from dolphins who often travel together by temporarily stunning the tuna and allowing the dolphins to continue on course. The tuna stunning is accomplished by creating underwater sounds of a selected frequency range which has a maximum impact on the tuna and a minimum impact on the dolphins.

Abstract: A fishing rod tender for mounting a fishing rod on a vertically moveable object, such as a boat, including mechanism for maintaining the rod tip end at a substantially constant distance from a water bed as the rod support member moves vertically.

Abstract: A diving fishing lure disclosed for attaching a bait to a fishing line comprising a lure head having a front aperture for enabling the fishing line to extend therethrough. The lure head has an insert cavity communicating with the front aperture whereas a lure insert comprises an insert portion. A first and a second panel extend from the lure head and the lure insert. A locking pin is secured to one of the first and second panels for cooperating with the locking aperture defined in the other of the first and second panels. The locking pin extends through the bait for restraining the movement of the bait relative thereto. The lure insert is insertable within the insert cavity of the lure head with the fishing line extending through the front aperture of the lure head and with the locking aperture cooperating with the locking pin for interlocking the lure insert to the lure head. A restraining device is secured to the lure insert for restraining the movement of the fishing line relative thereto.

Abstract: A cage-type animal trap has side walls which fold inwardly concertina-wise and end frames with sliding doors which fold up against the roof of the trap so that the trap can be collapsed into a compact package for storage and transportation. When the trap is opened out for use the end frames form braces rigidly supporting the side walls. A trigger mechanism on the roof of the trap holds both doors open so that an animal can enter the trap from either end. A pivotal trip pan in the base of the trap is connected by cables to the trigger mechanism. When an animal steps on the trip pan from either end, the trigger mechanism releases both doors which slide closed under gravity. The trap can optionally be operated with one of the doors remaining closed and can be provided in a non-collapsible version.

Abstract: A termite bait system is disclosed having two compartments, a non-toxic preconditioning compartment (or "P-compartment") and a toxicant compartment (or "T-compartment"). A passage connects the P-compartment to the T-compartment. Initially this passage is blocked by a plug of a material that termites can eat through over time. The P-compartment contains a small amount of food without any toxicant. The T-compartment contains food that has been treated with a toxicant. Termites from the targeted colony--or from a different, but amicable colony--are placed in the P-compartment, where they are allowed to feed on the non-toxic food. An exit from the P-compartment, for example a tube, leads to a shelter tube of the targeted colony. The shelter tube is preferably left undisturbed by the operator of the CPBS system. Termites from the P-compartment build a shelter tube or lay down chemical signals from the P-compartment to the target colony or its shelter tubes.

Abstract: A shutter door assembly assembled primarily from extruded plastic components is provided. The shutter door assembly includes an outer rectangular frame surrounding a pivotally attached vaned panel door. Various side, top, and bottom legs of the frame and door are constructed of a hollow extruded plastic and are securely mounted together to form a rigid, durable shutter door. The resulting shutter door has the general look and feel of an actual wooden door.

Abstract: A window glass holder comprises a pair of axially spaced plate members having coaxial through-bores defined therein. A first one of the plate members has a protrusion which comprises a shoulder portion and an inclined ramp portion. The second one of the plate members has a metal nut member embedded therein. When a window glass is to be inserted into the window glass holder, the bottom edge portion of the window glass is inserted into the space defined between the pair of plate members such that the bottom edge portion of the window glass encounters the inclined ramp portion of the first plate member causing the first plate member to move away from the second plate member. When a through-bore defined within the window glass is coaxial with the through-bore and protrusion of the first plate member, the protrusion will be snap-fittingly engaged within the through-bore of the window glass whereby the window glass will be fixedly retained within the window glass holder.

Abstract: The invention relates to a cable-tensioning device associated with a rail (3) having at its ends (4, 5) two points for returning at least one cable (8), characterized in that one (4) of the said ends of the rail includes: a rotary cam (12); a cam-support element (7); a spring (13) coaxial with the cam (12) and having two angularly offset radial tabs (32, 33), a first tab (33) bearing on a stop (19) formed on the support element (7), and the second tab (32) extending inside the cam (12) and being designed to slide over a non-return means (20) arranged on the support element (7) after the cam has rotated through a first travel, this non-return means being shaped to prevent any return of the second tab (32) after the tabs of the spring (13) have become angularly separated by at least the length of the arc between the non-return means (20) and the stop (19), the cable (8) being engaged in grooves (30, 31) formed at the periphery of the cam. This invention has application to motor vehicle door window lifters.

Abstract: The device relates to a protective device for a door, which on a vertical edge is connected to a frame by hinges and opens towards its back side, with a gap between the frame and that vertical edge of the door opening when the door is opened, the protective device comprising: a shield for covering the gap, having a vertical fixed edge close to the frame and a vertical gliding edge close to the front side of the door; a fixing device for hingedly mounting the shield at the fixed edge on the frame; and a guiding system for guiding the gliding edge of the shield along the front surface of the door when the door is opened or closed; wherein the gap between the frame and the door is always covered by the shield, such that injuries of persons caused by fingers or limbs pinched in said gap are prevented.

Abstract: A lockable window, and a manual control for a lockable window. The window includes a window sash having a first locking member and a window frame having a second locking member mounted thereon for movement between a locked position cooperating with the first locking member for locking the sash to the frame when closed against the frame and an unlocked position clear of the first locking member to allow movement of the sash relative to the frame. The frame also has an opening therein for allowing access to the second locking member from an interior side of the frame. The lock control has a housing including an enclosure open on one side with a flange around the open one side, the housing being mounted with its enclosure substantially in the frame opening and its flange on the interior side of the frame. A handle is pivotally secured in the housing enclosure and includes an opening at one end.

Abstract: A retractable dome stadium having a plurality of generally lune-shaped panels mounted for movement between an open position in which they are stacked one above the other in a superimposed relationship and a closed position in which they are disposed in a generally side-by-side relationship. In the open position, the dome has a low and open view in one end thereof.

Abstract: A storage shed of a height less than that of an adult person, and which is accessed through a front door or ramp, when the roof portions are in an open supported position. The shed is intended for use in locations where local regulations prevent the placement of buildings that exceed the height of a residential fence. The superstructure of the shed; namely, the walls and roof portion(s) is formed of metal frame members which are covered over with a plywood or vinyl siding. The roof covering may be corrugated galvanized sheeting, or wood optionally covered by shingles as well as transparent or translucent plastic. The roof may be opened and closed by the operation of a series of water operated or electrically operated rams.

Abstract: A glide cap for a walker of the type has four legs that extend into contact with the ground and support an upper handgrip portion. The glide cap encompasses at least a portion of the bottom of an elastomeric tip placed on the end of at least one of the legs of the walker. The glide cap has a hardness greater than the hardness of the elastomeric tip such that any vibration or noise caused by skidding the glide cap across a surface is dampened.

Abstract: A modular bank station unit for installation in building environments, such as stores, shopping centers, and office buildings, for providing full banking services, said modular bank unit comprising a pair of side walls and a rear wall bolted together to support a top enclosure, the top enclosure having compartments for storing video equipment. The unit also includes a front counter enclosure fully engaged with the side walls to enclose the unit and totally support the side walls, wherein the front enclosure provides opposing partitions, a customer window between the partitions, a plurality of cabinets, shelves, and bins for holding banking documents, a computer, a facsimile, and other banking equipment. The front enclosure provides a curved front surface to provide smooth customer flow.

Abstract: A smoker's booth, for use within an enclosed area, including sidewalls having a door providing access to a single user compartment, wherein the sidewalls define upper and lower open ends. The lower end is closed by a base panel supporting the sidewalls, while the upper end is closed by a modular cap assembly, adapted for treating tobacco smoke-laden air drawn upwardly from the closed compartment. The modular cap assembly, which includes a closed space divided into a plurality of chambers, provides at least one plenum chamber and an electrical equipment chamber. An air treating unit is located in the plenum chamber, intermediate intake and return air vent openings communicating with the compartment. A blower draws tobacco smoke-laden air upwardly from the compartment, through the intake vent opening and plenum chamber, and returns only treated air to the compartment, via its return vent.

Abstract: An improved storage system and a method of constructing the storage system adaptably satisfies structural requirements in different seismic zones. The storage system is efficiently constructed to restrain movement of a storage tank within a vault, even if the storage tank is positioned such that all sides of the tank are not physically accessible. Within the outer containment vault, a plurality of structural members and bottom restraints restrict movement of a storage tank relative to the vault. The structural member has two depending restraints, one on each side of the storage tank to wedge the storage tank in place. Additionally, the bottom restraints are structurally connected to the bottom of the vault and positioned in close proximity to the side of the tank to further restrain movement of the tank. Different sized storage systems may be constructed in compliance with seismic requirements by modifying the number and size of the structural members and bottom restraints within a particular storage system.

Some strips have fibrous tread surfaces. Other strips may have a zero or low pile content tread surface; these surfaces may be grooved.

Abstract: A stair jack for constructing a staircase between an upper surface and a lower surface. The stair jack has a stair support member with a top inclined edge and a plurality of tread supports adapted to be fixedly coupled to the stair support member. Each tread support has a riser surface that projects upwardly from the top inclined surface and a trend support surface extending from the top inclined surface to an upper point of the riser surface. Stair treads and risers are affixed to the tread supports and riser surfaces, respectively, so as to form a staircase in which both the stringer and the tread support members are hidden from view.

Abstract: A vent extension flashing assembly having a tubular outside vent stack cover which is secured to a substantially flat roof flashing base plate. The tubular outside vent cover has a diameter larger than the vent pipe to be covered by the vent extension flashing assembly. The assembly includes a tubular inner vent stack cover positioned within the tubular outer vent cover, wherein the tubular inner vent cover includes a diameter smaller than that of the covered vent pipe so as to fit within the covered vent pipe. When the assembly is positioned over the vent pipe, the vent pipe extends between the tubular outer vent cover and the tubular inner vent cover. A rigid expandable portion is formed on the innermost end of the inner vent cover and is capable of being expanded by a cam member to engage an inner surface of the vent pipe to hold the inner vent cover in place within the vent pipe.

Abstract: A partition panel of the kind commonly used in "open office" systems defines an internal cavity which is used to house pieces of data processing or communications equipment such as a computer, a telephone, a modem and a facsimile machine. This equipment is manufactured using current miniaturization techniques to fit inside the internal cavity of the partition panel. As a result, significant space savings are realized, pilferage of the equipment is made much more difficult, and numerous other advantages are realized.

Abstract: A canopy structure 50 a plurality of support posts 11, 12, 13, 14 arranged substantially in the form of an array 51, and a plurality of panels 10 mounted on the support posts to form a canopy cover 50. Each panel 10 is a rectangular sheet of flexible material 16 and a plurality of substantially inextensible support straps 17, 18, 19, 20 fixed to the sheet 16. A support strap extends along each side of the sheet 16. Each end of each support strap is mounted to a support post and an intermediate point is attached to the support strap of an adjacent panel. The support straps generally have a twin catenary configuration which draws fabric from the inner area of the panel towards the edge thereof. The panels are attached to the support posts and to each other by loops of webbing 30, connecting rings 31, and shackles. The loops of webbing 30 are typically reinforced to reduce the likelihood of failure thereof. A canopy panel 10 for use in the canopy structure described above is also included.

Abstract: An apparatus for mounting a scrubber pressure vessel to a base. The scrubber has a skirt which is mounted directly onto the base. The base has two orthogonal longitudinal beams. The beams are oriented with respect to the pressure vessel such that the forces directed to the scrubber by its attached piping are parallel to one of the beams. The skirt is attached to the base on the longitudinal axes and the connections may vary in stiffness such that the natural frequencies of the system along both axes can be adjusted to avoid the operating frequency which would otherwise result in resonance.

Abstract: A drywall corner bead which includes a plurality of integral preformed barbs provided at intervals along the length of the corner bead for securing the corner bead to a drywall corner. The corner bead includes first and second longitudinally-extending flanges which are interconnected by a longitudinally-extending rounded nose, and the first and second flange are disposed at an angle of less than 90.degree. with respect to each other. The barbs project inwardly from the flanges in a generally perpendicular direction and have a length of less than about 3/32 of an inch. When the corner bead is applied to a drywall corner, the barbs penetrate substantially only the paper layer of the underlying drywall and secure the corner bead to the corner. The drywall corner bead can be rapidly applied to a corner without requiring additional tools or materials, and the corner bead is securely affixed to the corner by the barbs until the corner is finished with joint compound and paint.

Abstract: A modular container wall unit and containment system formed therewith, each wall unit being comprised of a central panel having wing-like panels integrally formed on opposite sides thereof and angularly intersecting the central panel at an angle such that, when the wings of another modular unit are affixed to the central panel of the present unit, and one or more like units are affixed to the second and third units, a chamber is formed which, when combined with a bottom panel and a top panel, defines a container. The central panel of each unit is designed to include recessed areas adapted to mate with the wing panel of another modular unit to facilitate the expansion of the system to form an adjacent cell or chamber. Furthermore, the modular unit is configured to withstand lateral loads and maintain system integrity.

Abstract: A construction block comprises parallel faces joined by four side edges. Two side edges have outer spacing flanges while the other two side edges have inner spacing flanges. The inner flanges are received within a recess defined by the outer flanges. Hook receptacles located on the lower portion of the outer spacing flanges receive hooks located along the length of the inner spacing flanges when two blocks are interconnected, holding the two blocks firmly to each other. The interfacing flanges provide spacing support and integrity and a location for flange to flange ultrasonic spot welding. A structural bar is positionable within the recess of the inner spacing flanges.

Abstract: The present invention provides a subfloor system for placement over a substrate. The subfloor consists of a base, a resilient pad, an upper member, and brackets. The resilient pad is positioned on the base, preferably within an elongated slot formed in the upper surface of the base. The upper member is operably connected to the top surface of the resilient pad. The upper member has a projection and two shoulders. The brackets have an upper and lower tab and are secured to the base and to the upper member. The lower tab is adapted to fit within the base and the upper tab rests on the corresponding shoulder of the upper member. When under load, the resilient pad compresses thereby causing the upper member to move towards the base. The brackets, however, limit vertical movement of the upper member relative to the base. The invention also includes a method of forming a resilient sports floor employing such a subfloor system.

Abstract: An earth stabilization structure and methods for making and using thereof are provided. The structure comprises a compressed annular tire wall stack unit encased in a reinforced matrix shell. The structure is preferably octagonal and cross-sectioned and preferably have a hollow core. The structure has welding elements for fixedly attaching adjacent structures together in the form of weld elements from any adjacent structures to be welded together. A stabilization wall is also provided by rigidly attaching a plurality obstructors together using the weld elements. The method involves providing a mold having a central pipe, compacting a plurality of tire sidewalls to provide a compacted annular tire wall stack unit (bundle), placing the bundle over the pipe, placing weld elements at the bottom of the mold, placing concrete in the mold, permitting the concrete to solidify, and removing the resultant structure from the mold.

Abstract: The present invention provides a roofing fastener, a roofing assembly including the roofing fastener, and a method of installing the roofing fastener into the roofing assembly. The roofing fastener includes a head and a shank integrally connected thereto. The shank and the thread thereon permits the roofing fastener to be self-tapping and threaded into a base substrate such as a concrete deck. Preferably, the roofing fastener includes a polygonal socket within nubbins thereon to squeeze about a drill bit. Also, ideally the head of the roofing fastener is round and has a diameter which is greater than the length of the shank. Ideally, the fastener is made of a low-moisture material which can absorb water from the surrounding substrate causing the fastener to swell and increase its holding power.

Abstract: A wallboard patching element is collapsible to fit through a hole in the wallboard. Using a handle, the element is moved through the hole and inside the wall adjacent to the hole. Once inside the wall, the element is released into a fully deployed condition with part of the element larger than the hole. The patching element has adhesive on portions that contact the wall, and is moved into contact with the wall. Once the patching element is fixed to the wall, the handle is removed, and tape or other patching material is used to fill in any gaps remaining between the patching element and the wall.

Abstract: A recessed lighting fixture includes a back housing which is secured to a form board for receiving poured concrete such that the concrete sets around the housing to form a recessed area in a concrete structure. The form board is joined to a stiffener plate to support the housing under the force of the concrete. The form board and stiffener plate are removed from the back housing and the internal components of the lighting fixture are disposed in and secured to the interior of the back housing to form a recessed lighting fixture which is flush with the surface of the structure, for example a concrete wall. The internal components of the fixture may subsequently be removed and replaced should the need arise as only the back housing is fixed to the concrete wall.

Abstract: An elongate beam that is constructed of a sheet metal having expanded metal sections. The beam has a closed profile that has at least two side sections made with the expanded metal. The opposite side edges of the sheet metal are attached to one another so that the sheet metal forms a closed beam structure.
