Abstract: A method of assembling a dual recliner mechanism includes positioning a first recliner mechanism, positioning a second recliner mechanism relative to the first recliner mechanism, assembling a first member of a cross rod to the first recliner mechanism, assembling a second member of the cross rod to the second recliner mechanism, adjusting a relative position between the first member and the second member, and fixing the first member to the second member to maintain the relative position.

Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing and/or treating a material web, in particular a paper or board web, having a roll with bearing journals which are provided at the ends, a roll frame having bearings, in which the roll is mounted with its bearing journals so as to be rotatable about its longitudinal axis, and having a motor which is plugged onto a bearing journal and is carried by the bearing journal, the motor being clamped with respect to the bearing journal in order to avoid roundness and vibration problems, the clamping length being at least one tenth of the length of the motor shaft. The invention also relates to a method for attaching a drive motor to a roll or for retrofitting the drive motor.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a dynamic bearing comprises providing a bearing having a through hole. A photoresist is coated on an inner wall of the through hole. An ultraviolet lamp capable of inserting into the through hole is provided. A mask having patterns of pressure-generating grooves is attached to the surface of the ultraviolet lamp. The ultraviolet lamp is inserted into the through hole to perform an exposure process with the mask. The exposed portions of photoresist are developed to appear portions of the inner wall underneath. The appeared portions of the inner wall are etched to form grooves on the bearing, and finally, the photoresist remaining on the inner wall of the through hole is stripped.

Abstract: A dynamic bearing manufacturing method including steps as follow. A plate is provided and a plurality of grooves is formed on a surface of the plate. The plate formed with grooves is rolled into a hollow cylinder. The grooves are located on the inner surface of the hollow cylinder, and thus to reduce cost of manufacturing process.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing at least one axial flange on an elastomer bush bearing. According to the invention, the axial flange(s) is/are produced by flanging one or both axial ends of the outer sleeve of the pre-assembled bearing after the bearing has been assembled. During this assembly process the inner component is inserted with the elastomer bearing body into the outer sleeve. In the tool, which is provided for this method and which can be used on a press, the force induced by the compressive force is transferred to both axially acting and radially acting deformation elements.

Abstract: The invention is based on a chip catcher for a power tool (26) that generates chips (56), in particular a hand-guided power tool (26), having an inlet region (32) for admitting a flow of air containing a chip/air mixture (52) and for detachably connecting to a chip ejector (16) and having an encompassing housing (48) that is provided for attachment to a safety guard (10). According to the invention, the housing (48) contains an air outlet (36) spatially separate from a chip-collecting region (58) for chips (56). The invention has also proposed a system comprised of the chip catcher (30) and a safety guard (10).

The lock mechanism locks the blade in the open position and allows it to be released so that the blade may be folded back into the closed position. The locking mechanism incorporates a safety mechanism that prevents the blade engaging lock from becoming unintentionally disengaged.

Abstract: A hand-operated machine tool includes a movable lever having a cutting portion and a driving portion, a stroke drive comprising a rotating stroke eccentric driven about a rotation axis, the stroke drive operable with the driving portion to reciprocate the cutting portion between end positions, a cam carrier comprising an adjusting cam disposed between the stroke eccentric and the driving portion and operable to move together therewith, the adjusting cam comprising a pitched portion, and a retaining stop configured to engage the cam carrier and move between a released position and an active position. When the retaining stop is moved to the released position, the cam carrier engages and drives the stroke eccentric. When the retaining stop is moved to the active position, the cam carrier disengages the stroke eccentric, thereby adjusting the end positions of the movable lever.

Abstract: A deburrer comprises a deburrer blade (19) accommodated in a tool-holder (16) which is, in turn, accommodated in a handle (12). The tool-holder (16) has a connection profile of the type of a screwdriver bit and can be plugged into the handle (12) or handle shaft (13). The deburrer blade (19) can be rotated in the bit and optionally exchanged and may have a crank-like design, for example. It is also possible to use deburrer blades made of a ceramic material and held in the bit.

Abstract: The motorized chalk box includes a chalk line reel having an internal ring gear. An electric motor drives a pinion gear, which engages the ring gear, thus resulting in a very compact assembly. The motor and gearing are sealed from the chalk dust reservoir, through which the chalk line passes. The housing comprises two components secured by a single screw to facilitate minor maintenance. A spring loaded, automatically releasing line clip extends from the distal end of the chalk line. The line clip includes a spring-loaded sleeve, which is biased against the anchor (screw, nail, etc.) when in place. Releasing the tension on the chalk line causes the sleeve to spring against the anchor, thus kicking the line clip away from the anchor. The chalk box may thus be operated using only one hand, greatly improving safety for workers in elevated environments.

A guiding mechanism includes a limiting device, with mutually abutting surfaces and coupled to the support device, that guides the displacement of the reference device along a trajectory substantially parallel to the profile of the grinding wheel, allows the engagement of the reference device on a crankpin to be checked while the latter is orbitally moving, and does not interfere with the displacements of the support device caused by the orbital motion of the crankpin in the checking condition.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a digital tram gauge assembly having an extendible elongate tram bar having a first height rod at a first end and a second height rod at a second end. A digital measuring device is positionable about the tram bar and is capable of digitally sensing, displaying and wirelessly transmitting measurement data from the digital tram gauge. The digital measuring device further includes a digital level sensor that functions as a digital level comparator to indicate whether the tram gauge assembly is oriented substantially parallel to a user-defined reference datum plane.

Abstract: A method for drying laundry in a laundry dryer having a program control device, a drying chamber and a process air circuit includes providing a flow dividing device in the process air circuit for dividing the drying air flow into an exhaust air component and a recirculated air component. A sensor is used to measure a pressure in the process air stream in an area where the drying air enters the drying chamber. The pressure is evaluated and the flow dividing device is controlled based on the evaluation so as to reduce or set to zero the recirculated air component and to continue the drying process at a reduced volumetric flow rate of the drying air through the drying chamber.

Abstract: A blower/vacuum apparatus is attached over an existing body shower compartment, or may be constructed in combination with a shower being constructed. The apparatus of the invention is mounted over a shower and provides for directing a flow of air, which may be heated, into the shower compartment. The air stream may be reversed to withdraw air and moisture from the shower compartment. A retractable hose device extends into the shower compartment to which may be attached several devices, including, but not limited to brushes, squeegees, and other devices for use in cleaning the body and the shower compartment.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a drying apparatus which is capable of measuring the accurate dryness of an object being dried, regardless of the amount and position of the object received in a drying drum, thereby achieving an improvement in drying efficiency. The drying apparatus comprises a drum receiving an object to be dried, an air passage communicating with the interior of the drum, a blowing unit mounted in the air passage for forcibly blowing the inside air of the drum, and a humidity sensor mounted in the blowing unit for measuring the humidity of the air blown from the drum.

Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for warming feet. The invention includes a flexible and compressible insole that can be removable or integral to boots, shoes, or other footwear. The entire apparatus is battery powered allowing it to be portable and lightweight enough to be comfortable. The battery can be mounted in many possible locations including but not limited to on the footwear, in the footwear, or on the user's lower leg.

Abstract: The present invention relates to shoe construction to alleviate perspiration of user's feet and to get a more confortable walking: inner ventilation air is obtained mainly both by using a suitable special shaped inner foamed oversole, with interconnected open chambers, porous cushioned, memory retentent, with one or more hollows, under the footsole, in combination with a rear heel inner protrusion as a pump in addition to air ventilation got by the hollows. The air is drawn into and expelled from some intakes and outlets fitted in the rear heel portion, that can be partially or totally clogged by straps with buttons. To increase ventilation and to get it more homogeneous, in combination with pumping effect of the oversole with hollows, the higher upper portions are provided with some protrusions that surmount lower upper portions, where some holes for air passage are fitted.

In particular, the pant protector prevents the bottom of a pant leg from slipping between a person's heel and the shoe bed when wearing open-backed shoes. The pant protector comprises an anklet, which is worn around the ankle, and adjustable to the size of an individual's ankle. The anklet is connected to a heel strap, which runs directly down the back of one's ankle and to the back of one's shoe. The heel strap is connected to a heel loop, which attaches to the heel of a person's shoe. The pant protector is external to the shoe, but is connected such that when an individual is wearing long pants, the pant protector is not seen.

Abstract: An adaptable shoe includes an upper portion and a sole assembly connected to the upper portion to provide a shoe cavity. The sole assembly includes a first sole segment, a second sole segment positioned adjacent to and substantially coplanar with the first sole segment, and a deformable member connecting the first sole segment to the second sole segment to provide a substantially planar sole assembly that can be expanded in a width direction in order to adapt the size of the shoe in a width direction.

Abstract: The present invention provides articles of footwear for use by firefighters in different activities such as emergency and rescue situations, as well as daily activity in and around the firehouse. Integrated handles enable the firefighter to quickly and easily put the article of footwear on while minimizing the possibility of accidentally catching on equipment, apparel or debris. Locking bands that wrap around the upper are used to adjust for comfort and a secure fit. A dual lacing and zipper system enables the firefighter to initially adjust for fit by selectively tightening the lace, while the zipper provides a quick means for securing the article of footwear. Different outsole lug configurations are suitable for different surfaces, wet, dry and of varying and extreme temperatures. Added protection is available with a tibia/shin protector and ankle protectors.

A load within the scraping device may be lifted by force exerted from a barrel end of a cylinder, thus utilizing a maximum potential of the cylinder.

The apparatus includes an open rectangular frame having spaced parallel upper and lower members and spaced parallel side members having upper surfaces in a common plane. Grippers are pivotally supported on each of the frame members, wherein each of the grippers has a hinged outer edge and an upper surface adapted to grip the base fabric. Each gripper is independently pivotal between a relaxed position wherein the upper surface is parallel to the frame common plane and a raised position in which its upper surface is inclined outwardly. The apparatus further includes gripper actuators each having a gripper engagement end and a hand engagement end. The actuators are pivotal between a relaxed position and an engaged position, whereby the actuator moves the gripper to its raised position when the actuator is moved to the engaged position.

Then, a latch passes through the penetrating hole of a left linkage of the first frame and trenches of the two supporting frames of the first frame and the recesses of the two supporting frames of the second frame. When the latch passes through the two linkages, the latch will fall into lower sides of the trenches of the two supporting frames of the first frame so that the two ends of the latch are confined by the linkages without moving transversally.

Abstract: An evaporative barrel cooler for a firearm includes a firearm adapter having a mist nozzle, and a high pressure coolant reservoir attached to the firearm adapter with a flexible hose. The firearm adapter orients the nozzle inside a firearm chamber and aligned with the bore of a firearm barrel. The firearm adapter conforms to the interior of a firearm action and replaces a firearm bolt. The firearm adapter accesses the chamber through an open action port or through the bolt's raceway. The high pressure coolant reservoir may further include a hand pump attached to the reservoir for pressurizing the coolant. A coolant valve may be incorporated into the flexible hose to control the flow of coolant, whether it is water, alcohol, gunpowder or bullet metal solvent, or a nonflammable and nonreactive material.

Abstract: A magazine tube and barrel clamp with integral target illuminator, wherein a laser module can be incorporated is provided for a firearm having a magazine tube and a barrel. The frame defines a clamping sleeve for substantially encircling the magazine tube and a barrel receiving channel for receiving a diameter of the barrel, wherein the magazine tube and the barrel are thus fixed in a predetermined spacing. The frame further defines an illuminator recess for receiving a substantial portion of a reflector in the target illuminator, thereby shielding the target illuminator from contact with external surfaces. A driver circuit is retained within the frame to selectively operate the target illuminator and a laser sight, wherein the target illuminator can be a solid-state light emitting device.

The weapon accessory has selectable microprocessor-controlled multi-modes of operation for providing illumination, sighting or target debilitation. A series of ribs are provided along the walls of the external container near the base of the external container for mating with the base of the insert.

A pair of jaw actuators have central apertures, each embracing both jaws at opposite ends thereof, the actuators being pivotally carried on the respective arms of an U shaped retention pin. A Spring Pin Loc is coupled to the respective arms of U Shaped Pin and extends across the cross member between an attachment for the bait pan 70 and an upturned dog mounting end of the cross member forming an attachment for a swinging trigger dog. The arms of the retention pin also carry coil springs, so that on each arm there is one spring on each side of the corresponding actuator. The coil springs urge the respective actuators upwardly toward the sprung, or closed, position of the trap.
